The Cakery in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Such a great place to go for a coffee and a piece of cake or breakfast! Super family friendly and the staff are just extremely lovely! So far every cake / pastry I have had was 10/10!

My friend & I have been so looking forward to visiting here but with restrictions & commitments we’ve had to wait, however we managed it today & want can we say, it was definitely worth it! The cakes were delish, so many to choose from, the cappuccinos were divine, the hosts are very welcoming & we can’t wait to return for a breakfast.

I’ve been twice to The Cakery and both times have been lovely. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the food is lovely. There is also a nice atmosphere to the place . Totally recommend the cakes, always a lovely selection and extremely tasty!!

I used to visit The Cakey while they were in Newcastle and even with it now being a 25 minute drive away in Stone it is still worth it! The coffee is great, and the selection of cakes and brownies is amazing and everything I've tried so far has been delicious. And they're dog friendly, I took my 5 month old Puppy in on Friday and she got so much love and fuss, we both had a great time 😁

There’s so many cakes to choose from and they all look amazing. The lady that served me, it was her first day and she was extremely helpful and friendly. Lovely cake shop that I shall definitely be visiting again soon.

Absolutely love the Cakery and chuffed to bits it’s come to stone. The brownies are hands down, without a doubt, THE BEST BROWNIES WE’VE EVER EATEN!!! You simply must visit the cakery and try one for yourself. All the ladies are so lovely, the decor is great and there is a lovely warm atmosphere but genuinely the cakes are second to none. With different flavours to try every day there is always something new to look forward to. It’s also dog friendly which we love and always take our puppy Honey with us.

We visited today for the first time, it didn’t disappoint. Excellent brownies - best I’ve had in a long time! Lovely coffee too and friendly staff. We will be back after lockdown and may even order some brownies during lockdown!

Called in today with my 2 year old and everyone was so friendly and welcoming and we both enjoyed some super delicious Halloween cakes.. our new favourite cafe in town

I enquired with the lovely ladies at The Cakery about making me a replica of my wedding cake as a surprise for my Husband on our first wedding anniversary. I sent photographs across a long with a description of what details I wanted on the cake. I WAS BLOWN AWAY! The ladies in the store have such talent and the cake tasted amazing. Friendly service throughout and excellent response time to any enquiries. Thank you!

First time going to the Cakery and met up with a friend I haven't seen in months. We went around 13:00ish. We got served by a lady who said she was new and she was friendly and tried her best. We had a sandwich, 2 drinks and a baked good each. Everything was lovely! The staff were really friendly and welcoming. They were clean and kept themselves and everyone safe. Definitely be going back.

Well... What good things can't we say about these ladies? We've been having their cakes for the best part of the last three years, and they are hands down some of the best I've eaten (and if you saw the size of me... You'll know I've eaten a lot of cake!). They always make you feel welcome and have gone out of their way to accommodate my wife's many allergies. They even go as far as to cut up my little boy's food and he loves their babycino! I visited the other day with my sister, we had the loveliest time. The women who work here are super lovely and the hot chocolates are amazing! Also had some oatcakes and a slice of cake and couldn’t fault it at all! Chilled environment to be in and the decor is beautiful, can’t wait to be back! ✨

I went last weekend with my mum and my young son, the service was outstanding the ladies were so warm and welcoming and VERY polite !!!! The cake and coffee were to die for!!!! I will defiantly be making this a regular trip to try all the different cakes they have to offer!! Xxxx

The Cakery offers tasty cakes, cupcakes, brownies and best of all their BLONDIES! Ran by a mother and daughter team, the cafe has a relaxed family atmosphere- nothing is too much trouble! They kept us topped up with cakes throughout lockdown and have not disappointed...

Great food I’ve been twice now on two Saturday’s which are normally busy times for any cafe and food has been great both times, the staff are really nice and actually talk to you as well, will definitely be coming again
