Went here with a friend on a fairly quiet Friday night for some drinks and food, and it was such a nice, cozy vibe. Loved that they allow dogs inside—it just made the atmosphere even more relaxed. We had a mix of things, but the churros and squid were definitely standouts. The bar was a bit busier if you ordered directly, but they make an amazing spicy margarita, so it was worth the wait. Would definitely come back!

Nice place for brunch. Usually busy, but efficient, friendly service. Decor is looking a bit tired and could do with a refresh.

Been many times, mainly because they have a decent veggie menu for me, the service and food varies, but won’t return after this! My daughter ordered a halloumi sandwich and paid for an extra piece of chicken on it, as brought over fine… she bit into it and said it tasted odd, looked at it and ur was completely pink inside. We put it to one side and waited for someone to come back to check on us/take plates etc but nobody came back, so when were finished with the other food (my vegan breakfast was great) I took her plate up to the bar and waited to tell someone there. I showed them and they seemed shocked and said they would go and tell the kitchen, I sat back down and expected at some point someone might come over and at least apologise… waited a while and it was clear nobody was coming over/seemed bothered so we left. Really scary that chicken is going out undercooked and nobody seems concerned at all about the risk.

We chose this restaurant for the vegan options and we were not disappointed plus our kids enjoyed their build a meal deals too. The decor and atmosphere was lovely and a big shout out to the friendly and welcoming staff, thank you.

For a chain restaurant it's actually pretty good. The food all seems really freshly prepared and the staff are friendly. My only niggle is I'd prefer table service but it's not really a big thing. I do like their tapas dishes. The decor is pretty funky too.

Staff are extremely pleasant, food is always delicious from a lounge and there’s a great variety. Especially for Vegans and Celiacs! Would recommend.

Great Tuesday night tapas. Never fails to disappoint. Recommend to all. Great selection of tapas. 3 tapas and glass of house wine is included in the price.Staff are great and relaxing surroundings to enjoy We will always return for a Tuesday night treat.

Met family to celebrate my birthday. Lovely meal all dishes delivered to the table together. Very friendly staff. Offered me a free glass of wine for my birthday, which was lovely of them.

It was between xmas and new year and they were out of fries and chicken wings. So bit disappointed there. Had feta and flatbread which was very nice.

Capello Lounge staff did an amazing job in looking after a group of 30 of us for our Christmas do yesterday We chose the venue as it’s a relaxed space, and has good variety of food to meet everyone’s needs. Getting 30 meals out on time is quite the feat but the staff did brilliantly and all with smiles on their faces and great customer service. Thank you to all involved. We will be back at the same time next year!

Nice & quiet first thing, but they get very busy around 10am. They do a lovely vegan or veggie breakfast. All the food is great though....

My first visit to Capello lounge. Was pleasantly surprised. Ambient atmosphere, Friendly staff, good tasty food. Our large group was served by Charlotte who was ace, very friendly and ensured that all our requirements were met. We did not wait long for the food and drinks. Overall, it was a nice experience and I will be going back here again..

Delicious breakfast here in a lovely / different environment.

We went as a group of 15 to celebrate the festive season and had a super time. The food from both the Christmas menu and the normal menu, was delicious. The staff were great; efficient , helpful and friendly. Special thanks goes to Martin Fagg who took the bookings and orders etc and also to Charlotte to looked after us on the evening.

We had a lovely evening at Capello Lounge, the food was excellent and the service was exemplary. Charlotte looked after us all very well and went above and beyond throughout our time here; she was wonderful and even went out of her way to help us celebrate my sister's birthday.

It was my sister's birthday and we hadn't booked a table...Cappello Lounge was fully booked with Christmas meals, but the staff not only found us a table but even provided a slice of birthday cake! Service above & beyond and this is why we love it here - as well as having a full vegan menu and being dog friendly! Thank you so much xx

A group of friends went as a get together and catch up. They do a good choice of vegan meals and I had the all day vegan breakfast which was very nice. One of my friends had taken a birthday cake to celebrate one of the groups birthday a few weeks before. They didn't know I was vegan but a member of staff overheard me refusing a slice and came over to me and offered me a complimentary slice of carrot cake. This was delicious and highly recommended. The staff member, Charlotte, had remembered me from another venue that she used to work it, which is really amazing customer service. Thank you Charlotte for your very kind gesture.

Visited with friends Sunday evening and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The drinks were great and the staff were sensational, massive thank you in particular to Lydia and Jacob who couldn’t have made us feel more welcomed. Will definitely be back! :)

We had a large booking at Cappello lounge (22 people) last night for a celebration and the whole evening was flawless! Everybody enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. The staff were very attentive, friendly, service was quick and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning! :)

Food was gorgeous, staff are really nice and friendly, would definitely come back again.

Stood waiting to be served for about 5 mins. Two staff behind the counter at various times, both busy, but neither one acknowledged my presence. A simpe "someone will be with you soon" would have been appreciated. When I politely asked if anyone was serving the young lady at the counter simply complained that she had been left alone and it wasnt her job! Another staff member finally rather snapily said "I'm just clearing a table for another customer". I accept that the place was busy but an acknowledgement and friendly greeting rather than 'attitude' would have made all the difference. Not impressed. We regularly eat in other 'Lounges' across the midlands and get great service so this, being my first time at the Newcastle Lounge, is likely to be my last.

I went on Saturday afternoon, it was so packed but we could sit outside, I enjoyed a latte and my date had a coke😊

Always a great experience with great food

A great place to eat. Service is always spot on. Ordering either via the app at the table or at the bar. Dogs are welcome, great food, quick professional server's, friendly atmosphere. The only issue I have is the volume of the music, as a neurodiverse family it can be very overwhelming especially when the cafe is full so the overall volume of people talking and music makes it impossible to sit inside. That being said, we would highly recommend this place.

What a great place to visit especially when you have a gluten allergy!! Whether for breakfast, brunch, or dinner, the food is great and the selection of gluten free options is amazing. Cudos to the chef! Great staff, great food! So great that we had to go right back the same day because there were so many delicious options.

Nice food. Inexpensive and really nice polite staff. We go here often as a group and it's a nice atmosphere. It's great that there is a disabled toilet downstairs (I cannot do stairs) and parking outside after 5pm is a bonus. Would reccomend.

Best breakfast ive ever had , far better than toby carvery's all you can eat , it's a bit more expensive but you get what you pay for , everything on the plate was hot and very good quality , will definitely come here again for another.

This place does some really tasty cocktails! The food is really nice quality but it can be a little on the pricey side for what you actually get.

Mum choked on the beef brisket chilli and got sent a@e then I went to go to the toilet and it was spicy poo everywhere all over the toilets

Food is always nice, good drink choices (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). You can order on the app or at the bar. Dog friendly and child friendly. Lovely in the summer when you can sit outside and all the windows are open. I love the churros here.

Really enjoyed my short visit here today. I found the atmosphere and the decor fascinating. As a photographer my senses were tingling. I really wished I'd had my camera with me as the light was catching things so beautiful today.

We visited yesterday evening and really enjoyed our meal. They took steps to show they were allergy friendly in accommodating my wife's current food restrictions. Both the standard menu and the vegan menu had plenty of choice. Unfortunately, the food we initially ordered had run out before it could be prepared for us. We understand this happens sometimes, and the manager was very apologetic, and took steps to make it up to us. The replacement meals we ordered instead were delicious. The only concern was, with sitting outside, we were initially next to a blocked drain. This is the council's fault and not the restaurant's, and we were able to move tables easily, so it wasn't an issue for long. We look forward to returning.

I ordered the nasi Goreng and the serving is so small like only 3 spoon full and that was really bad for a price of £14 for lunch portion. They need to change or losing me forever

Lovely atmosphere, beautiful decor and great food!

Breakfast was really good and the service was fast. The bacon pancakes had a fairly good pancake to bacon ratio. Could do with a dribble more maple syrup but I am a sugar fiend so maybe I'm the problem. Not a cheap meal out but it's a nice place to take people.

Never had a bad meal even with my allergies creating difficulties in choosing something safe. Love this place 😁

Great prices great menu for all tastes

Lovely friendly staff, great food and excellent coffee. My dog is so welcome here as are so many others. I have never had a problem with the food after coming here for 5 years and don't see any hygiene problems with the well trained staff.

Saturday was the third time i had food here. Unfortunately the food was not as good as usual and the dessert i ordered was missing an ingredient (which was given upon request). To make matters worse, I got food poisoning on top of having a bad meal. My husband ate my leftovers and become ill right after me. The previous time i was here, I noticed a server touching a customers' dog (dogs are known to transmit all kinds of illness that cause digestive problems so of course that left me wondering if it was a matter of time before someone got sick) Either way, more hygiene training is needed as well as food quality control. The food was amazing but I am now too afraid to go back and be left sick again for days.

I come here all the time, and no matter what time of day there is always something I fancy. Vibes and playlist are always immaculate and the staff are all lovely.

My friend and myself went here for lunch today. We ordered on the app at table My drink came but think they forgot my friends. We reminded them and it came straightaway. The food was superb. My friend had tapas and I had a pulled braised brisket with black bean curry. Omg it was so delicious. Middle of the road prices so all good. We'll be back,, soon.

It's a good place for lunch. I'm vegan but there were some courses on the menu I could order. I had a vegan burger, it was ok. Info vegan dessert was unavailable so I had a coffee instead. All in all ok place for a lunch
