The Cafe Tesco Tower Park in Poole

I have an allergy and spoke to the very young girl about it who said can’t guarantee cross contamination ! I accepted this but then she went to the kitchen and made faces to the chefs and then came back and told my husband don’t worry I have told the kitchen !! Very upsetting situation and treatment !!

Exploring the nearby Arne Nature Reserve for a few days, chose Tesco cafe for breakfast, not disappointed, far from it! Enjoyed our croissants with cheese so much that we came back every day of our stay, for exactly the same tasty menu choice, also with an excellent cup of coffee to set us up for the day. Made to feel very welcome and served enthusiastically by Luke, Carla and Lisa, in their clean and comfortable restaurant. Full marks folks.

Visited the Tesco cafe for the 2nd time with some friends today for a catch up. Cafe was clean and service was fast. Luke ab was perfect, he made our day with funny jokes and good service. Look forward to seeing you again!

Rude lady taking order, no customer service skills at all. My husband had a chicken wrap that he said was ok and aroung 6/7 chips! Very stingy portion of chips. I opted for the tuna mayo and spring onion jacket potato. It was brought out with no spring onion, I asked the server for the spring onion, he then brought me out the jacket with around 7 huge 1cm chunks of dried unpeeled spring onions just thrown on top, needless to say the spring onions were not eaten, nor most of the potato! Not a great amount of tuna mayo and the potato itself was dry so with the lack of filling made it a pretty poor lunch option! Wont be returning that's for sure.

Lovely well presented breakfast really enjoyable well done to chef. Tables cleaned by staff and food trays cleared quickly too.

Was very impressed with my breakfast this morning. Staff were friendly and very quick to serve us and the food wasn’t out of this world but it was fine. The fact that they offer vegan options is awesome considering not many cafés I’ve been to recently do. I think a lot of these other reviews are being too harsh, I was pleased with my food and for a quick and simple breakfast/lunch this is a great place to go. They were taking coronavirus very seriously too which I was also impressed with.

I suppose you get what you pay for. And this breakfast wasn’t very good. Well not on this day. I have had better on other days but it came up overcooked and cold.

So so disappointed with my breakfast today, it seems to have changed, different sausages which were bland and horrible, and my hash browns were just soggy! They used to be golden and crispy, massive letdown the only positive I can really give was that my iced latte was lovely. Unfortunately we won't be eating at Tesco again.

I ordered a Cheese and Tomato omelette. Whilst the service was quite prompt. my meal was served on a tacky plastic plate. The chips were tasteless. Overall a cheap meal, but not one that I wish to repeat.

Well my food was lovely , cooked well and no complaints. Coffee nice too. Didn’t have to wait long either .

Had a cheese an ham toastie while friend had cheese an beans jacket potato, well what a shame , toastie was stale around the edges, rock hard so couldn't eat it , friends jacket potato was obviously something that's been left all day an warmed up so again hard , baked beans on it was just ewwww like they had been cooked an left an then re cooked so the tomato juice was all hard an clumped together, very very basic ingredients, dont expect a service with a smile more like eat , dont eat , i don't care if you like the food , just hurry up an go I'm bored type of service , well should of know now why it was so quiet with 2 people in the cafe an had to wait for service at till , never again !!

Came to this cafe a few days ago and I was absolutely appauled. The food was as expected considering it evidently is all reheated from frozen, the cooks obviously try their hardest to make it presentable but theres only so much you can do when a foodplace is run so cheaply. The manager (I believe) was incredibly rude to staff members as well as called customers names, whilst paying for my food she was very impatient andcame across as very angry with me(despite the fact that my contactless payment took next to none of her time). From working in resturants myself I cannot see why any of the staff continue to put up with this. As it was raining, the cafe became busy and it was evident that staff were trying their hardest whilst the manager stood chatting by the corridor to the kitchen. Overall I wouldnt suggest visiting here, its value for money is appauling and the manager herself is vile to customers and staff alike.

Went here just before Christmas .the food was awful then, thinking it may have been an off day we are there again yesterday. Unfortunately it was no better.. My partner and I had a breakfast me the standard size and him the large ..not much of a difference apart from the extra £2.00.. The eggs were hard and black underneath ..resembling rubber .. The bacon was obviously warmed up and not cooked fresh.. The hash browns were overcooked and tasteless..tesco value came to mind..even the toast was over done ..tasteless cheap sausages ..The only thing half decent was the beans..considering they came from a tin they couldn't go wrong .. such a shame ..Disappointing as the restaurant before these guys took over was lovely .. Gotta say the staff were friendly and polite no problem there at all .. Please re think your cooking methods as I will never eat there again sorry

Attended 8th Dec 2018 and my wife wanted to treat me to drinks and a snack meal before we embarked on Xmas shopping. A growing group of young youths behaved anti socially, were disruptive, behaved in a way that suggests they were deliberately annoying to others, or just didn't care. Challenged several times but it persisted. Eventually having to complain to Management, their handling was abysmal. They were happier not to upset 9 or 10 youths who had made no purchase in The cafe and thereby were not customers, than deal with the concerns of 4 paying customers who voiced their concerns at the terrible experience of being victims of this group. The Cafe Manager also had no grip on the reality of the matter. Would avoid wherever possible. Food otherwise was satisfactory and good value for money, but pointless if there is no control on disruptive elements. Ruined a whole shopping experience.

We have recently been doing some home renovations and, having no kitchen, relied on inexpensive restaurants for dinner! This Tesco was one of our favourites- we really enjoyed their pies and an all day breakfast! Staff were really friendly too. Great value for money.

We’ve been to the cafe before - it is what it is. But today was bad. Untrained staff, mis-communication (1 jacket potato and 2 kids lunch bags can’t be that difficult) and general feeling of “can’t be ar*ed to help” We waited and waited for the kids sandwiches as none in the fridge. We were also waiting for 1 barney bear. I know, right 😉 When the sandwiches eventually arrived (after my husband was halfway through his jacket), the ham one was fine but the cheese one had emmental in it. An acquired taste at the best of times. When I took it back I was told the kids sandwich is always emmental. Arguing the toss ensued........especially when it’s always been cheddar in the past. We know because we’ve had it! Good luck getting my 6 year old to eat emmental guys. System failed to communicate allegedly. There was a lot of it about today Eventually the sandwich returned toasted at my request and it had morphed into cheddar. Happy cheese times Plenty of complaints at the Cafe today. Shame really as when it opened it was fine. Now.......meh. Leave it. Pop to tower park instead
