£7.25 special : chicken korma, rice and crusty bread. Sounded perfect. Here's a hint for the chef: if you are going to serve microwave rice, the kind you can buy for less than 50p a portion in the discount supermarket, then you could at least break it up so the shape of the container is no longer visible. And if you are serving curry which is not homemade, add a sprig of coriander and a dollop of mango chutney and/or lime pickle on the side. I asked if it came from a can, which is how it tasted, but was told that it was "bought in". The atmosphere is nice, the staff are friendly, but the food needs a tad more imagination.

Had an unplanned visit this morning, after a long walk. Had a good chat with the proprietor as she bagged up some takeaway cakes, fudge and an Americano. Good to see that the tables are all sorted out for a 1m distanced eat in experience, from 10-1500 on Saturday (4th). Well worth a visit. Thank you. Chris

Just stopped in for coffee and cake, after a walk. Lovely staff, pleasant quiet environment, great coffee and cake. The stairs will mean it's difficult for those with accessibility requirements, but this also limits the number of small children, which may be a blessing for some.

The only one visible is for the Indian on the ground floor, but if you take the risk of venturing up the stairs you get a warm welcome and excellent value food. On my previous visit in the summer I had homemade quiche and salad. This time I chose chicken korma from the Specials board, which came with fresh crusty bread. The caramel cake looked very inviting but unfortunately I didn't have room for it.

Really disappointed in this cafe, my daughter and her friend were looking for somewhere to get a drink and catch up, I recommended this cafe to them. Firstly their drinks were very poor quality, and then they were asked to hurry up and leave as they were closing. Will not be going here again.

I visited Corsham on a cold day in November, the last time I went to this lovely town was a decade ago. I chose 'The Cafe Corsham' to dine, this apparently only opened in 2013. First thing to state - and others have commented on this - is that this place is rather hidden. It is actually situated just opposite The Metheun Arms but this cafe exists only on the first floor of a building shared with the Jaipur Takeway on the ground floor - so the cafe has no frontage and is easy to miss. You need to go up some steps to get to this cafe so it is not suitable for the disabled or mothers with push chairs. Also don't let the 'closed' sign for the takeaway confuse you as the cafe will likely still be open.

My favourite cafe in Corsham, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. The cafe is accessible by stairs, and the toilet is also up some stairs so unfortunately if you have mobility difficulties you may struggle. If you are able to do stairs, I'd thoroughly recommend it.

This is just how all cafes should be. There is a large choice of food from the usual toasties and jacket potatoes to specials such as Thai green curry. The food is very reasonable and the service is efficient and friendly. Only downside is that the cafe is above a shop up some stairs so not easily assessable to some.

I've actually been a few times to The Cafe Corsham and have to say it is one of my favourites of all time. The Cafe itself is very clean, welcoming and the decor is lovely. I love the wooden beams - gives what I would describe as a modern cafe with an old world charm. The food is great but even better than that it is very very good value for money, the owners should charge more! Really is good. The staff are very friendly, attentive and even when the cafe is busy I've always felt looked after. So if you are in Corsham or the surrounding areas you must visit The Cafe Corsham. Exactly what a cafe should be!!

We don't frequent this cafe enough but when we do it doesn't disappoint. Drinks and food are of good quality with the cakes being rather tasty. Prices are very reasonable. The decor and theming is very nice with oak beams etc.The main downside is the fact it is upstairs so taking a buggy is a bit awkward although they have a play area with various toys to keep them entertained once upstairs.I can also thoroughly recommended them for functions. We had a party there and the organisation was easy, the spread was lovely and although we left them to it with regard to choosing the food they did take our small requests into consideration.Worth a cuppa or a nice lunch.

Lovely friendly little cafe, nice staff, really cosy with great value for money snacks and specials and more substantial breakfasts and lunches. Some good choices on the menu and a great cup of coffee as well. If you have a mobility problem getting access will be difficult due to a flight of stairs to the cafe and then once up there is another flight of stairs up to the loo!! Bit difficult to find if you don't know where it is, easy to walk past. Worth a visit though. If I have one suggestion to the owner it is to ditch all the plastic/fake flowers and foliage - really naff and give the wrong impression that it is a bit of a greasy spoon - it's not. If you want flowers/plants have real ones or none at all!!! The furniture is very nice and suits the environment - fake plants and flowers just are a big NO NO!!

Takes a bit of explaining where this café is but this is now our preferred café in Corsham. Good space upstairs, good simple menu, always had decent food and coffee. Only downside is my wife cannot go there by herself with a baby in tow as you can't carry baby and pram up the stairs which must put off a few local residents that have babies.

I regularly attend the Café Corsham while I'm doing the school run during the week, sometimes just for a quick drink and sometimes for a cooked meal. I find the service there incredibly friendly, the ladies there are always up for a chat. The food is always delicious, and even on a busy day they try their best to serve you quick. I would describe the café itself a family friendly environment, with the only problem being the stairs, making the café unavailable to the disabled. Following the 2 reviews left on Trip advisor I decided to try this Cafe in Corsham, I have to say that I would need to disagree, I actually found the waitress quite sullen and it wasn't easy negotiating the stairs with a baby and toddler, I had to leave the pushchair outside on the pavement as there was no way of getting it up the stairs into the Cafe and i was unable to keep an eye on it. The menu was OK, nothing very different but it was reasonably priced although the Cafe did smell a bit of deep frying which also would put me off going here again. I feel that Corsham is very well serviced with some excellent eateries and having tried this once I will be staying with my regular choices of Cinnamon, The Deli and The Methuen Arms.
