The Cafe in Brighton and Hove

I visited this little gem of a cafe twice whilst driving from Coventry to visit my wife who ended up in hospital in Brighton. The cooked breakfasts were both perfect. Really good quality ingredients and cooked perfectly. When I said I didnt want toast with my full English they immediately offered a substitution. Staff were friendly and cheerful and the cafe was immaculately clean. A truly lovely couple of visits at a very difficult time!!

Absolutely quality standard food lovely staff all round, brilliant atmosphere and nothing is to much trouble, the food is always fresh, its very clean and you can see how much pride the owners take in it always will be our go to. We love the fact the menu has a lot to offer to accommodate children aswell which is a massive bonus.

Food is always spot on, great prices and value for money. Have had a few different meals there and always been lovely food. Staff are friendly, easy to get along with and nothing is too much trouble.

We had a long wait for our car to be MOT’d today and were delighted to find The Cafe open for takeaway. It was the start of lockdown 3 and we had to wait four hours after dropping the car at the garage. We wandered down Carden Avenue and discovered this little gem. The breakfast was cooked to order and served in a takeaway box which we ate outside sitting on a convenient bench. The coffee was so good, we went back for another and we were able to spend 1.5 of the 4 hours enjoying it. The very friendly owners have been impacted by this wretched lockdown but f you are passing for essential reasons, do stop to pick up a coffee and some lovely hot food.

I don’t normally Wright reviews but I just had to for this little gem!! Thank you for such a lovely home cooked breakfast with the best bacon and sausages I’ve ever had! Top quality grub with a fresh clean and happy atmosphere as I find some cafes can be a bit Clicky! Great value too. Will deffo be a new regular. Thanks guys

Food is always incredible. Claire is such a friendly lady. Family friendly and always accommodating. I make sure I go every morning for my coffee and lunch. I wouldn't go anywhere else!!! Highly recommend people come and try, once you've eaten here you won't go anywhere else for your breakfast/lunch.

Visited today - had cheese omlette with chips and a tea. The food was delicious, loads of it, all super tasty and a good price. The staff were really friendly. Nice touch with the TV, and plenty of red tops to read and all from today - win! These sorts of cafe are a dying breed and it was so good to find such a gem in brighton. I’ll definitely be back! Rob

Happened to come along to the cafe due to doctor appointment not far from this little cafe. Came recommended by local pub and surgery. Wasn’t disappointed with the freshly made Caesar sandwich and friendly staff. Don’t bother going to ASDA cafe when this is much better!

I think this has had a name change, something like CJ's. not sure. Good value for money had the Breakfast big portion reasonable price. Staff seemed friendly, would come back.

This cafe is quite near to me so have been a fair few times now and have loved every time I have been! Love there bacon and hash browns! Definitely recommend if your in the area and want breakfast, will be back!

Good value paninis, the breakfasts looked really premium quality as well although we didn't sample one of them this time around.

Nice staff and top draw breakfast great value for money good quality sausages and Doms loving the black pudding Nom nom nom.

As said in the title. Nice staff, good quality food. Premium butchers sausage is highly recommended there full English Is absolutely awesome. Definitely coming back.
