Very friendly pub with reasonable price and good beer and snacks that allow dogs in. Owner even went to go and get a bowl of water without being asked. Good local pub.

Came today to watch the football and the service couldn't have been any better. Got us a nice spot to watch the game, very attentive with the drinks even though it was busy at times. As a tourist was made to feel very welcome in the pub. Legs were achy from climbing Snowdon and the barman even brought our drinks over.. so nice!!

Went to watch the F1 race because they have Sky Sports - the staff were very friendly and willing to change channels on the TV for us

We stayed for two night in our campervan in their car park with permission from the landlady over Easter Bank Holiday as everywhere local was fully booked. A massive thank you 😊

Good local pub, has a pool table. No cask ale on, looks like they may sometimes have doom bar. Usually multi tap of keg lagers, guinness and generic house spirits. Always got a crowd in though so if that's your thing this will serve you well.

Very lively and a great atmosphere

We visited twice over 12 months and were so happy to see the same staff on our return. Some places can treat you slightly different as a tourist/holiday visitor. Not these two. Absolutely the most friendly welcome, will advise on local area and genuinely nice people. Food wasn't on but the drinks were great priced and refreshing! Pub and bathrooms spotless!!! Sports on TV as an added bonus.

Had a fantastic time here with my wife and dog, made very welcome by the host's, staff, locals and fellow tourist's. Beer was spot on and very cheap for a tourism town. Dogs made most welcome, the land lady made such a fuss of ours, when I stay in Bala again I will definitely visit this pub again

Friendly staff. Fair price of 50 pence for pool. They have a deal for Guiness, buy 6 get 1 free. Lots of tvs with sky sports so a nice place to watch a game. Spent a lot of time here as it was just across the road from my accommodation. Will miss this town. Thanks everyone at the Bull for making me feel welcome. James from Australia.

Friendly staff and good choice of drinks. My partner said the gents toilets were not great. The ladies were fine. Could do with a bit of TLC but was nice to spend a couple of hours here on a snowy December day.

Decent, no nonsense traditional pub. Not the biggest selection of draught beers, mostly low-ish alcohol standards, (3 - 4.5%) so went for the 5% lager (Moretti?). Friendly and efficient staff. Prices vetry reasonable.

A friendly pub with very reasonable prices. We came in for a quiet pint on a Friday afternoon, enjoying comfortable chairs and good beer. We also nipped in on Saturday night to find it far livelier than expected - dance floor and DJ. The music was good, as was the atmosphere.

Great friendly local pub, welcoming atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Will visit again when back in Wales.

Popped in for a couple on a Sunday lunchtime. Pleasantly surprised how clean & tidy the pub was. Efficient service and very reasonable prices. Manager was new to the job and was doing a great job

Great beer spirits and wines lovely atmosphere made to feel welcome dogs can come in so long as they are friendly.the only downside is Gareth insists on wearing a black mask that he is constantly fiddling with its covered in food and other detritus in my opinion it's a BIO HAZARD standing near him seriously he needs to take off the mask for his own health it puts people off.
