Had a nice meal here with friends, the restaurant itself is very modern and nice decoration inside. Food was good, portion sizes were very generous, we all enjoyed our meals. Would recommend!

The only reason food is a four is because there were quite a few things on the menu that weren't available.

Went for lunch 27/7 to celebrate my birthday. First time visiting and will definitely go back. Food was great and really impressed with the quality of kids meal. Mocktails are really fun, my son was happy with his Fizz Wizz. Only issue was we could not leave a tip, not sure if we missed something but my partner could not see on the app a tip option.

Fantastic cuisine and restaurant.The setting and decor is amazing with Japanese themed of blossom 🌸 trees and lighting. Service exceptional and very considerate. Portions are fantastic size. Would absolutely recommend. Absolutely get the open steak blue cheese sandwich- you will not regret it extremely tasty. Only downside is you will want to eat there everyday as the food is so delicious 🤩!!

This place is amazing, very pretty with the trees lit up. Staff were really helpful. I'm a coeliac, and a member of management came and advised what I could have. I had steak and chips, and it was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a lovely evening

Lovely pub, the staff were so friendly, I think we served by Sharon she was great, it was my partners birthday so this was a special treat. We were in the garden room it was so nice. The food was amazing and reasonably priced. The portions were generous also. We will definitely be back.

Recommended by several friends and colleagues on separate occasions! The atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely incomparable. It is so so beautiful. We arrived a bit early but were both very content to sit on the comfy sofas near the bar, admiring the restaurant, while we waited for our table to be ready. My husband had preordered the "bathtub", which was an incredible sharing cocktail. We had the pork belly bao buns to start, which I couldn't recommend more - the flavours were to die for. I then had one of the famous yakatori sticks with a generous portion of the tastiest chips I've ever had in my life, and my husband had the steak, which was so reasonably priced for the size and quality. There was so much food we couldn't finish it, but were able to box it up for home. Really, the highlight of the whole experience was our waitress Izzy. She was an absolute joy from start to finish. Her service was 5*. She was attentive to any and all of our needs and so patient with us when we couldn't decide what to eat! She went above and beyond by surprising us with a dessert board to celebrate our anniversary, which we had mentioned in passing when we arrived, and she raced out of the restaurant after us when we had forgotten our bag of leftovers to make sure we didn't leave them behind. I sincerely believe she was the best waitress I've ever met, anywhere (and I used to be one myself!!). Thank you so much Izzy! Wishing you all the best for your future, and hope to see you again when we visit next. 10/10 experience and will be recommending to everyone I know.

The place is great inside but the food was a bit underwhelming. Curry halloumi skewer was actually amazing but I also had the yakitori steak skewer which was over cooked & a bit dry. We also shared a pizza which was mainly dough. Would go again but the decor was better than the food for me I'm afraid

Had a lovely trip out crossing the borders to Leicestershire to try out the bulls head at East Leake, part of the chilled pubs group. Mind you pal the old sat nav was playing up on the way there, took a couple of wrong turns and ended up in Gotham city! No sign of batman or Robin but eventually found the pub after a couple of mishaps. Place was bustling outdoors people enjoying the late evening sunshine with a pint or 2 in hand. Inside was a pure delight, beautifully presented with bushes and lights everywhere, reminded me of the late David Attenborough delving in the undergrowth in his planet earth tv series. We we shown to our table and our server James was a star. Must admit though he looked more like he should be on the local skate park showing off his skills rather than taking orders off the locals but he was a top man. He told us that currently they were experiencing technical difficulties with the app to order and pay, but Reece in the back was on it like a car bonnet trying to get it back up and running. We went with the yakitori stick and pizza, top notch fodder let me tell ya son. James even gave us a box to wrap the leftovers up to take home with us so for that he got a whopping £3 tip and in this day and age and on my wages he should be chuffed to bits with that bad boy! Tried a Vimto mocktail out and it was a beaut, came with a chew bar, candy floss and 3 bon bons, how bizarre how bizarre. At £5 a pop I wouldn't expect anything less to be fair. Good old Reece managed to sort the app out and we managed to pay online using a gift voucher we had as part payment. I would thoroughly recommend this place if you haven't been before, a lovely evening out, only thing I can't comment on is the toilets, didn't get chance to use them and definitely wasn't caught short! Keep up the good work chilled pubs, and James if your listening.........get on that skate park bro 👍👌🤙🏂

We had a lovely family meal here but at 4pm, they had run out of some items on the menu. This was somewhat disappointing.

Great food good atmosphere reasonably priced definitely will return . Highly recommend booking in advance I booked a month in advance and only just got in .

Went here for our 1st wedding anniversary on Saturday 27th July and food was lovely as usual 😋🫶

Food expensive for what it is and not that tasty. We had to wait 40 minutes for it to be served, and the plates were still on the table when we left 3 hours later. The table next to us was full of glasses and empty plates when we arrived at 6.30 they were only cleared away 2 hours later when a couple asked for the table so they could eat!! There was only one person serving behind the bar and one doing the drinks for the restaurant, service was appalling. When we asked for the table to be cleared so we could order deserts the waitress sighed then just moved 2 plates out of the way. So needless to say we won't be in a rush to go back if at all

Visited Fri 26th July and before we sat down we had a drink in the bar area. The pub was fully occupied. I like to hear music BUT the volume of the music was too loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Even when I ordered drinks at the bar the staff kept on asking to repeat my order!!. Asked a member of staff why is the music so load she said so the can't overhear other people conversations...we couldn't hear ourselves let alone!!. Food was average.

Was booked in with a big table on a Friday night but the wonderful staff had no issues fitting us int with minimal wait time for our table. The pizza I had was very nice and huge. Our table was attended to by Izzy who met our every need.

Been there 5 time and not once disappointed with them!

We took my daughter for her birthday meal yesterday. I ordered an elmo cocktail but the waitress said they didn't have the ingredients for it. Half an hour later I saw one on another table!. Told her a nd soon after the manager gave me a free Elmo which was lovely of him. We had to wait at least 20 minutes between each meal which isn't usually like the Bull as I have been before and service is always quick. We ordered pudding only to be told by the same waitress that their wasn't any creme brulee as they haven't had any in for two day?! At this point I was past caring and my daughter was getting restless. It was a disappointing Birthday meal for her to be honest.

Great food, prices and atmosphere. Met family here and been quite a few times ever since. Staff are friendly and the best of all, it’s dog friendly with treats and water in the entrance. What’s not to love about this place.

we saw this stunning pub and choose to eat here I choose the Mongolian beef and a double of Morgan's and coke. This was my first time trying out Mongolian beef and I enjoyed every single bite seriously It was so amazing I would make my hear and eat there again

The onion rings were cold and greasy, but they were replaced without fuss. I wouldn't recommend the Vegan burger meal. Sweet potatoes were undercooked and very spicy. The bread roll was unpleasant in texture. However, the burger itself was ok and edible. The remaining meals were fine.

On the occasion of a family birthday we arrived at the Bull's Head. Knowing it was a venue with cherry blossom decor it was a perfect venue for my sister's birthday. Her favourite. We all enjoyed our starters and mains. Moctails were great, nice to have options for drivers. All in all a great place for lunch.

We had a lovely meal, reasonably priced food and fantastic mocktails for the kids. The decorations created a great atmosphere. All the staff were lovely and made so much effort for my son's birthday. The pizzas were great, big enough to share and so tasty. A take out box was given to us for what we couldn't finish 👌

Have visited the Bulls Head a few times now, always impressed. Would like to thank the staff on Saturday 6th July - who made surprising my Mum for her 70th birthday happen! They went out of their way to make sure she had no idea, managed to seat us early so we could get the table ready! Overall, great food and the staff were amazing 👏! Will be sure back many more times!

Another fantastic experience visiting for a birthday lunch. Our 4yo grandson had his Police high vis jacket on and all the staff young and old responded to this. They could not of made us more welcome. The staff and food were fantastic, as always. This time we were upstairs. Wonderful expeirence.

One of the better pubs our there. Has a fantastic menu which will keep you going back for more. If your going on a special occasion I would recommend booking the garden room in advance.

Loved this pub when it opened but the food has got very average and our last visit the food was just warm as was the wine. It's not like the place was busy so will not be going back any time soon.

6 of us had a lovely meal here on a busy Friday evening. We had no wait at all.for service and the staff were All polite and enthusiastic. They made our evening even better. Great training and not seen very often anymore sadly. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

Lovely experience of a pub lunch in the garden room. There is a lovely competition between the ambience and food quality in this pub. And both are winners. The cocktails, Gyozas, Halloumi fries, Pizzas and the Gelato sandwiches were all lovely. Phil is a warm and welcoming host and so were our servers Katie and Tegan. I am a repeat visitor for sure.

Omg..I was gobsmacked..like so elated ..this place is amazing..like nothing I have ever seen before .. just everything about it .. amazing staff too..so cheerful. I will definitely be going back .. even if its just for desert..omg gooey choc dough balls..to die for.

Bit pretentious for me and the menu, although very nice food seems a bit too specialised for what is just 'pub grub'. It's very popular however and always seems to be full.

Went for a meal today, got ignored while the manager stared at his computer until I just went to bypass him. Poor start but Josh was attentive & made sure we were looked after. Ollie on the bar was polite as were all the others inc. the lady who took the managers place on the laptop. Really good value for money

Came here for a meal with family, our waiter was brilliant, the blossom room is great nice place to relax. The food was lovely! Chicken kebabs were cooked great chicken wasnt dry full of flavour. Reasonable prices too.

Travelled from Manchester to visit family and decided to call in here for something to eat. Lovely place very warm and inviting and superbly designed. Food was good and portion sizes for the pizzas are extremely large, more than enough for two people. Overall a really good feel about the place and we could have stayed all day.

Very popular venue with excellent food from a rather different menu to the usual pub offerings, plus pizzas, burgers etc. Staff very friendly and good real ale.

Table of 5. Recommended to us although 3 of us had been previously and wasn't sure of the quality. Out of the 5 after waiting for our main meal after 45mins one was sent back being cold and not returned, another only received side salad. Our compensation was an extra bag of sweets. We asked where the manager was and was told he was having his coffee break. .Looks good on the video but not for us although our waiter was excellent.

Beautiful setting with the pink blossom hanging from the ceiling. Food not very impressive ...more quantity than quality.

The food here was really good. I had the hanging kebab. Service was really accommodating. They even put balloons out for a birthday. The decor is incredible. And it’s deceivingly big inside. Nice bar area and great restaurant space. Perfect for a family or for a date.

Great place and atmosphere. Went there for my wife’s birthday. The inside looks amazing and spacious. Out of all the meals, mine and one of my daughters’ were good but the rest were very much below par. My daughter’s garlic bread had that much salt on that it was inedible. I struggled with it as well and could not eat it. The beef stroganoff was well, very poor and had no taste apart from a bland earthy taste. The bang bang chicken was ok but did not have that much flavour. Some nit picking points. The chillis in both my dishes were cut from a whole chilli and rather than spreading the individual pieces on the dish. Some were and the rest were left attached to the main chill and not fully cut through. No attention to detail whatsoever. The coriander also needs chopping for the taste to come out. On the whole, I was pretty disappointed with the food and having gone there for my wife’s birthday, I felt really bad to have suggested someone different and to have let her down. At least we got some nice pictures in the place.

First time of visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. The whole experience was just great. From selectionof beers to food. The restaurant team led by Reece were wonderful very attentive without being intrusive. The food is of a high quality and beautifully present. I can highly recommend the Trio of Burgers Main and the chips are to die for. Was there for a friends birthday and I cansee us all going back for my birthday in July.

Great selection of food. Our host Sharon was absolutely charming. This was an 18th birthday lunch for my daughter. The table was decorated with balloons and a cake was supplied, neither of which we'd requested and were not charged for. Gorgeous Japanese-style decor, friendly, very helpful staff and yummy food. Will definitely return.

Superb experience at this beautiful village pub. Very varied menu with huge portions. Great value for money in a cosy atmosphere. This was a return visit, & we were served once again by the charming Sharon. Nothing was too much trouble for her in taking care of us, in particular providing a complimentary desert for one of our party celebrating a birthday. Seating hostess Rachael was also super friendly. A lovely lunch with friends. We have already booked for our next visit. Thank you ❤️

Beautiful place, staff happy, seated quite quickly, staff very attentive, food was amazing, hot & plentiful.cocktail was a let down as ordered a biscoff espresso martini and the only thing biscoff about it was the glass had been dunked in the spread and crumb. No actual difference in the drink itself. Saying that I will be returning again ...loved it

Service was brilliant couldn’t fault it but the food really lets it down for the price! Fillet Steak yakitori was dry, chewy and not good quality - definitely not fillet steak! Beef Yakisoba noodles even though full of chilli was bland. We ordered the cookie dough yakitori stick for my 6 year old son which after eating half of it we soon realised that it was completely raw!! It’s unsafe and potentially dangerous to eat raw cookie dough. Spoke to the manager who wanted to get us away from the table very quickly so other diners couldn’t hear our complaints. They did take the cost of the puddings off our bill which was gratefully received however it is still unacceptable to be serving food like this. We wasn’t the only people this evening who were complaining about food quality either! Would return if there was a new head chef and the food quality improved as the place is beautiful and the service was brilliant

So the place is nice... the clientelle are a little varied.. oap's through to teenagers dressed up like they going out in town. Very busy, carpark full so had to park elsewhere... Food... mmm it's okay but on the two occasions I have been it has been luke warm... would I go again.. maybe in a few months to give it one last chance. If it hasn't booked up I would probably never go again. Cashless so make sure you have your card.

Had a disappointing experience this week. Decided to come here for our anniversary. The staff were friendly, especially the young man serving the drinks. I ordered an elderflower spritz but got a limoncello one so that had to be switched. We didn't get asked if we wanted anymore drinks, we were left waiting awhile in between the food being served. Ordered Yakitori sticks to share for starters. The cajun chicken and pork belly ones were lovely and hot - we enjoyed those. The halloumi, prawn and camembert ones were barely warm. We didn't want to send back as already waited 30 minutes from ordering to receiving these. No one came to check our food was ok. When we got our mains, they had ordered me the cod bun rather than the pulled pork bun. So whilst my partner ate his burger (which he enjoyed), I waited a further 10 minutes for the correct order, so we didn't eat our mains together.

Alicia showed us to our table and was very welcoming and attentive. Food was amazing too. Had a great time and would recommend.

This place is absolutely spectacular. Great decor, cracking food and awesome service. We have been twice now and tried multiple different items from both kitchens. It has never disappointed! Thanks to Dylan for serving us today. Well worth a visit!

Food was excellent! The only disappointment for me was how restricted I was for gluten free options.

Have been twice. First time was not long after it opened and had the yakitori stick which was great. Went back and had slider burgers and spent the night throwing up. I did contact the restaurant (via their online form as no number seems to be available…) and never heard anything back. Have since heard of others being ill from the food too. Wouldn’t return which is a shame as the decor is gorgeous, the atmosphere is buzzing and the cocktails are really good.

Brilliant place to go & have a Meal & Drink. You go & try it you will not be let down. I'd definitely recommend it
