The Bull Inn in Renfrewshire

Nice, old place that is a favorite with St.Mirren pre and post match, a bit on the pricey side and very busy on home match days, they have small rooms near the back of the bar for small groups and a nice big coal fire going on cold days, get there quickly if you want near the fire after a match has finished

Good selection of real ales, with a discount for CAMRA members. There is apparently also a discount for St Mirren fans on matchdays. Located about a mile from the football stadium and close to the town centre and railway and bus stations

If you like classic old heritage bars and first class cask ale then this place is a must visit. A superb pint of IPA poured by a great barman. Sky Sports News is on - picture only - all the monitors around the bar including a 📺 in each of the 3 snugs at the back. Well worth seeking out and 11:00 openings as well 👌🏼

Was in Tuesday night and Served by Alex. Absolutely a credit to the pub. Majorly accommodating when I was having trouble using to app to just being a genuine friendly person. Made everyone feel welcomed. Top guy definitely deserves credit

Classic Paisley pub with good beer and good vibes. Also stunning and unique architecture and layout. The cosy snugs at the back with personal fires are so cool! Also includes the requisite dusty pub bookshelf which is a nice feature.

Great night in here as always. Stephen was awesome and tended to all my whimsical desires.

Max and Steven/ Stephen were very helpful. Even allowed us to bring in food when the kitchen was closed.

Great wee pub, best pint of Guinness in town by far! Great service, Zoe and Stephen are a credit to the place. Great knowledge of the drinks available and good chat, it's clear the staff get on with each other and the punters.

Sadly the kitchen was closed by the time we arrived but the atmosphere and service was great. Max and Stephen were prompt and cheerful. There was a small selection of classic scotches from all around Scotland which my friends and I enjoyed. The football game was playing at a reasonable volume which allowed conversation as well.

Good choice of drinks, reasonably priced, great staff, lots of screen for sports, and a good atmosphere. Also has small snugs in the back which can be reserved.

The Bull Inn is easily the best pub in Paisley. Great staff so many beers to choose from. The inside of the pub is a work of art. A warm welcome and a great atmosphere is always served in the Bull Inn. Keep up the good work. I recently booked a snug in there for a night out a great idea and the staff are the best very friendly and helpful.

Great wee pub & reminds me of The Horseshoe Bar in Glasgow. Great selection of beers & spirits. Not a big deal, but they don’t serve food, but allow you to bring in your own. Also very dog friendly!

I had a great time at Bull Inn. Zoe and Paulina took great care of me. They were attentive, friendly and made me feel very welcome. I went in for one beer and ended up meeting a couple of locals and we closed the place down. The atmosphere is great. I learned that they are the oldest bar in Paisley, and the last bar to allow women in. Glad they have women running the place now!

In Paisley for a visit, stopped in at the Bull Inn, loved the atmosphere, patrons were friendly and Claire was an awesome host! She’s friendly and knowledgeable about the pub history.

Cracking bar, with good beer selection, friendly staff. Main bar is "cozy" (or tight!) but there's some additional seating "rooms" further inside.

Nice wee pub. Old style with cask ales and decent range of spirits. Always fairly busy. They don't sell food which is a shame, even a light menu would be good. Nice little booths at the back. Fairly clean toilets although some guests smoke in the toilets. The place often smells of smoke. Very friendly staff. Could do with some internal modernisation but whilst keeping its charm and character. Its looking very tired and neglected.

Brilliant time in the bull, fantastic service and a fun atmosphere. The bartender Hesh was rather stupendous... couldn't ask for better.

Today I brought my aunt in who has flown all the way from America to relive her youth in the bull in. She absolutely loved it, we were severed by a the lovely Claire. Highly recommend… old mans pub with lots of quirky vintage things, good pints a jukebox and lovely people :)

I was barred from this pub around 4 years ago for being rude to the bar woman when drunk , fair enough. it now has new owners and i was allowed back in , i went in for the 3rd time and the same girl that works behind the bar had told the new owners i was barred and didn't want me in and asked them to bar me again. Looks like anything i said to her back then was justified as she is clearly a nasty little girl that cant just accept an apology and holds grudges after 4 years .

Chilled Out Tuesday Afternoon Had a great afternoon in The Bull with my little sister to have a catch-up. We were sat in one of the snugs which was lovely and cosy- just what we needed with the current weather! The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially Claire who looked after us so well. Will be back very soon - thank you!

Fantastic pint of Guinness, exceptionally friendly bar staff. A real "locals" feel to it but very welcoming to passing trade.

Popped in for a few drinks with the Mrs while down for the weekend, the manager Alex, was very knowledgeable and gave us a few ideas of places to visit. Definitely will be back next time we are down
