The Buffalo in Enfield

They've just changed their menu and to say that they've got it wrong is an understatement. It's now way way way too expensive for the type of cafe it is. The set menus are just not right. Cost me £40 for two people this morning. I like the staff and the ambience, but on the strength of their latest offering, I reluctantly have to say that I'll be shopping around for a new caff.

Very bad do not order here I paid for 2 sausage sandwiches but got 2 sausages only absolutely horrible

Exceptional and friendly service. The portion sizes are healthy and good for the price. Came here in need of a grease fix and they delivered on all fronts!! I had ordered their special fry up, top notch grub, Thank you!

Wife got Chips 2 portions and forgot to give add salt. We had to throw away the chips, missed the train as well. Whilst when we phoned up to ask about the chips, they say she didn't ask for salt. She said to them, "Give EVERYTHING separately" when they asked for salt pepper ketchup mayo. Just own up and say, sorry we didn't give it. Don't blame my wife, whilst they cooked the chips like they attempting to contest for MasterChef and taken 15 mins! Frustrating.. EDIT: She did not say No. You do not say things like it's is a fact!! You could have just said, miscommunication or didn't hear. However you plainly say my Wife said No as a matter of Fact. She has merely answered you question of salt and pepper, as separately and just answered it as "Sorry we do not do separately" rather than assume. Also set the expectations at the start and say to us "It will take 15 mins" rather than us missing the train and spending extra £37 on Uber to get to the place. If you had merely apologized and said maybe there was a miscommunication, I would have changed the review. (As I was angry on the missing the train) You instead doubled down on saying my wife said No when she didn't. You than call my mobile and defend yourself and again state my wife is an idiot by insinuating that she said No!! This isn't how you resolve a customer query.....

Welcoming staff, happy faces, food arrived quick , nice sitting areas, clean and organised Ordered lamb specials came with tiny portion of lamb l, one mini Yorkshire pudding, 3 potatoes pieces and unnecessary of mix veg , in another word plate worth of under £10 paid £13 🙃

Greeted on arrival, always friendly staff. Breakfast is good but sausage is poor. Comfy, solid furniture and crockery. Being cash-only is a letdown but ATMs are all around. One of the only cafes around that has the radio on.

perfect place to eat breakfast. would like to see more options on the extras on the just eat menu. other than that I really enjoy this place. 🙏

I ordered this at 2.30 for delivery at 4.20 it was 40 minutes late and cold also I ordered cheese jacket potato only with my order n they put beans in it which I’m allergic to so had to chuck it away not happy want be ordering here no more

Ordered hot meals and a dessert with ice cream, they put ice cream in same bag which of course melted and because they put ice cream on top of hot food all food covered in melted ice cream. Have requested full refund from just eat.

Food was hot & tasty however, I did find a tiny bit of shell in my omelette and although I ordered a side of bacon which said two slices, I only received one slice.

I ordered a lamb roast dinner. It was amazing. So much meat and potatoes. The meal was piping hot when it arrived and was delicious

Listen. I’ve not had a fry up in years, I was in town for another reason and suddenly thought ‘I wonder if anywhere around here has a good fry up’. WOW. Just wow. Hospitality was amazing, kind faces, attentive staff, no judgement for ordering extra stuff 🤷🏻‍♀️ Food wasn’t greasy or dry, everything was nice and seasoned and hot. I had a Turkish coffee which was made perfectly. The only thing worth mentioning is the black pudding needs to be cooked on a higher heat, it needs to have a bit of a crust on the outside so it holds its shape. Another than that, a perfect meal, almost finished the whole plate. Paid £27 total for everyone’s food and drink. Definitely go here!!

Lovely and warm food, no leaking, they called to say they didn't have the cake I ordered and offered me a different one - I really value that they asked me first and am very happy with the food 😊

Very good menu and very responsible price's we had a nicely cook breakfast. Would recommend the chefs special breakfast.

I am in here at least once a week. Very friendly and food is served hot and tasty. Made friends with the staff now. I have worked as a support worker and have noticed a fair amount of people come in here, with added needs.. These people are treated no different and are welcomed and I know them all. If on a low, this place will cheer you up and fill your belly..

I don’t mean to be too rude but my order was damaged and leaking again, and the lasagne was 90% cheese and the thinnest layer of mince and pasta ever.

Beans soaked through all food because container damaged and bag leaked onto my sofa

I’ve never had a breakfast delivered before and I was defo pleasantly surprised by it. It was amazing just the same as being in a cafe once I had plated it up. Was lovely and still piping hot, will defo be ordering from here again 😘

Polite friendly staff, clean and tidy surroundings. Spotless cutlery, plates and tables. Relatively inexpensive food with a good selection. The continental breakfast is a good choice for variety. My only gripe would be that the coffee wasn't that good, otherwise it'd get 5 stars.

The best cafe that I have eaten at. So much to choose from. The breakfast meals are amazing. I also love the omelettes. Even the sandwiches are great. I Recommend this cafe to anyone that appreciates good food.

What a pleasant find. Was greeted by a smiling friendly waitress who asked for our order. Chicken sandwich meal was lovely and full of flavour, hot chicken and salad in white bread and chips made the meal. Jacket potato and salad was very nice. The place seemed nice and clean and the food was great to go again.

One the worst I what in they're lost year or the year before look at the menu and look for a staff member to put my order in nothing to say it was table service or order at the pay counter

Visited this cafe last week and was not impressed.Waited ages for a full English breakfast to find was lukewarm and my egg was over cooked.Was on the expensive side and when I queried the bill was told that the teas were not included in the set breakfast.Will not be returning.Word of advice to the owner - include a hot beverage with your set meals and you may increase your clientel by ten fold

Jacket potatoes wasn’t nice . I sent my sandwich back and went somewhere esle as I left starving . They messed up one of the orders . Overall disappointing to day the least . I wanted to cry .

First time eating here, I was impressed with the portions and the price is very agreeable. As far as I'm aware, any food item on the menu is available at any time during opening hours (supplies permitting naturally), whether alone or with others, it's a good choice for filling up.
