Yeah urm pretty good, had a pint there and then went to the rose and crown, would recommend their Lilly's cider it's really good but if you don't like un-carbonated ciders then I would not recommend but they do have many carbonated drinks for you to enjoy

Packed on Saturday afternoon when we visited. Everyone good-natured and enjoying the pub. Comfortable and warm.

Lovely place for a drink, the staff are really nice and helpful. Been a few time's since lockdown has eased and the table service is speedy even then most of the tables are full. 5 stars

Overly noisy and not considerate of local residents. We stayed locally over the bank holiday weekend and noise was excessive!

An unacceptable level of noise in a residential area. I love loud music but in the right place at the right time.

I used to drink in the Brit quite often before leaving Chesterfield , so it was nice to return after such a long time. Met a Friend for a couple of drinks. Pub had a familiar look and ambiance ( comfortable and cosy ). Friendly and efficient Service and a good range of Beers. Unfortunately our visit ended with the arrival of some very loud Football Supporters ( We picked the wrong Evening ! ). I did enjoy the visit and I will certainly return .

A great boozer passed it hundreds of times, great atmosphere, very clean lovely staff well recommend a visit.

Had hockey teas here after playing against Chesterfield 2s. The food was great and a good range of beers

Visited this place a few times before absolutely lovely plesent pub just feeling a little bit let down by your Greek van on the carpark the hygiene standards 🤔 and the fact the guy had a fag outside returned to carry on preparing food didn't wash his hands or even remove the glove overall not impressed. My new partner had already ordered food it was warm definitely not not or fresh at this point. Held to long??😐 maybe need some training required

Amazing service during a bank holiday event! If you have not been, you’re missing out, it has to be one of the best nights you can have in Brampton. We took our staff here for a works night out and we were amazed at the quality of the entertainment and your staff were fantastic. Even though they were extremely busy, they kept the bar and most importantly, the beer flowing. A special Thank you to the bar staff who dealt with my slightly intoxicated boss. Leah and Lorna kept the whole event under control. A Special mention to the fantastic Greek food on site, which is as good as anywhere weve ever been too in Greece. The vegetarian platter was out of this world!

There was stuff going on and was not let me play and was not letting over people play as well

What a fantastic accommodating pub. I work at Ability health and social care we do regular visits and the staff are so approachable. They are very patient and as a community pub they have no prejudices. If anything the staff at the Britannia go the extra mile for us and make our weekly visits an enjoyable activity. Yvonne

Great quiz night on a Wednesday

Attended a funeral wake here. Put on a good spread. Seemed homely, good array of ale.

Been in today to watch football with my gf...one young staff member was lounging with her feet on the table..the staff on duty spent more time away from the bar chatting than she did behind the bar. The result was a bar full of empties needing washing for over an hour

Sausage and mash in Yorkshire pudding with all the trimmings. Great and filling

Late August bank holiday Britfest. Superb effort by all the staff at the Brit, despite the wet weather, they have/had a great big open sided canopy to shelter/congregate under while watching the bands on the stage. Well done all despite the weather. Pity I couldn't stay longer.

It’s very attractive from the outside - stunning hanging baskets and flowers - the best I’ve seen for a while. A decent range of beer and lots of different rooms inside. It looks a bit tired inside but I quite like that. It was very busy on a Friday night but a nice atmosphere. Worth a visit.

Saturday lunch was made to feel very welcome. Ordered quickly but the food took about 30 minutes to arrive even though the pub was quiet. I have a jacket potato which was undercooked but had no opportunity to say so as no meal check. My Husband had the beef chilli which was lovely and he said the chips were wonderful. The pub had a damp mouldy smell which I found unpleasant, because of this I probably won't go back.

This pub is the best pub in Chesterfield. They let us cuddle their dogs (2 cocker spaniels) meanwhile eating a dominos pizza. They also have a greAt selection of Derbsyhire ales xx

This is Chesterfield hockey clubs club house, they always treat us well. The staff are friendly and the food is very good after a hard game.

Visited the pub on Saturday and had an ok time the bar staff are friendly although the pub was a bit tired and had a bit of a funny smell. They have a decent selection of real ales?

Expect reasonable pub grub and good beer.

This is one of the dearer priced pubs of Brampton.It also tends to be a bit cliquish with the clientele.It's ever so rare that I bother to go in here.Food's not bad though.

What an absolutely wonderful venue.

Went with work and took disabled service users there for lunch. When we walked in we were told to 'put them there' when I asked for a cup of tea and was laughed at and told 'I make them very reluctantly'. Everything was too much trouble even when we asked for a receipt it was too much trouble. Definitely will not be visiting again. David Simpson is an extremely rude man and discriminative

A good traditional pub with a good range of drinks, friendly atmosphere.

Being a frequent visitor of the pub, I find it to be a lovely pub to pop to for a drink or some food at dinner time. The meals consist of wonderful, homemade food which never fails to impress.

There are good selection of pubs on the Brampton Mile and well worth a visit on a day out seeking good ale. I have picked out the Brittania for that very reason the beers are first class, I had the Farmers Blonde on this visit served to perfection the staff are friendly and the locals great, I was also told the food was very good at lunchtime must give it a try when next in the area.

Seemed decent enough. Only had one drink, but they did have some good stuff and a friendly atmosphere.

El personal es amable y eficiente. A pesar de lo lleno que estaba, nunca hubo mucho, ya que el personal rápidamente sirve a todo el mundo. El ambiente es cálido y acogedor, y me (se) volveremos allí.

Great pub, brilliant in the summer for the kids with big play area and bouncing castle!

We originally wanted to try another pub on Brampton which was not open, so we called in here to try the 2 for £10 menu as I had been in before and the food was always nice. Despite the place being completely empty, the bar staff were rude and the menu was so disappointing that we simply walked out. I have heard from relatives that the Brampton Mile is suffering and I can only imagine that places like this are the reason why.
