We always stay here the night before we fly at Bristol airport! 15 mins from airport, cheap drinks and good food!

Roughest country pub I've ever been in, don't go ifyour not a local for Christ sake and witnessed 2 fights out of the 3 times I've been there...at least a bloody clean glass wouldnt of gone a miss and I'm certainly not sure what's changed but it used to be quite friendly with the landlord a few eons before ? It seemed very cliquey and definitely not what I was expecting to re visit.

I will be removing my review regarding The Bridge Inn, due to new staff/owners & not a fair description of the new & now current proprietary. Attended on first Saturday of new owners / staff (26/08/23). 1st & second rounds of drinks served without problem, by Olly. With a change of staff, Stefano's absorbent amount was charged for 'our round'! On asking the individual prices, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc had increased to £8.00, only to be told "that's the price and I've given you a £2.00 discount anyway", while being sprayed with the food contents from his mouth! Eventually £4.00 was reimbursed. The first member of staff, Olly, came to our table of 5, in an effort to calm the situation. As we were in conversation, Stefano deliberately turned the music sound level so high we couldn't hear anything he was saying! Olly asked 3 times for the sound to be turned down & when it got to a reasonable level, we carried on our conversation. Before leaving he offered us a round of drinks as renumeration, but when asked, Stefano refused saying; Olly's not here, you'll have to come back when he is here! Good start to a new business - Not!

Lovely, friendly pub, that does a great pint of Cheddar Valley. Always feel welcome when we walk down, even though it's not our local. Large beer garden out the back with some seating also on the front and side. Unique looking building and well worth a visit.

I wasn't overly impressed tho I only popped in once on my way thru as a whistle stop. It's a very dog friendly place that's for sure. On first impression simply a place for regulars or walkers.

Not great if I’m honest! Most locals aren’t friendly, they just stare at you. Although the area is nice and has a large beer garden.

Really nice area, shame the staff and the clientele of this pub don't go with it. Landlady is sour-faced and rude, while the customers are just a generally scummy/trashy lot. Don't expect a nice, friendly village pub.

Keeps a good pint of Doombar, and has a great range of cider available Inc " Cheddar valley". Not many punters on a Tuesday night! But a nice welcome none the less. There were a range of hot pies, filled rolls etc on the bar not sure if there was an extended food menu.

Lovely pub, very local driven but a warm welcome to those from farther afield.Normal fare and facilities but that does not detract from this venue in any way.If your looking for hip and groovy, best find a high end establishment with tear inducing prices.lf you want value for money, characters and good service, give it a try, support local pubs or lose them.

Great local pub Great cider but treat it with respect 👍 Been popping in the last few Sundays while out for a walk with the wife and kids. This week the landlord looked at me and said "alright mate?" Then reeled off the drinks I'd had previously over the last month!!! To top it off when I asked about payment, he said "cash is still king in my book!!!" There's plenty of 'card only' bars in town could learn a lot from this top landlord!!!

I used to use this pub as a teenager back in the 70,s, i took my daughter for a drink there just before xmas, we walked in and it was as if I'd walked into a time warp, nothing had changed (in a good way) it was lovely, the memories started to flood back, and the best bit was that there was a 70,s CD playing in the bar, oh and the thatchers haze went down a treat.

We have been using Panaher for approx 4yrs. Food is really authentic and tasty! First time last night we had a part of our order missing but staff rectified it straight away and actually the rice was the best we have ever had! We have only used for delivery so can't comment on the eating in the restaurant, but highly recommend for delivery!! Best curry house in Bristol!

Bought 2 x Thin Crust XXL Pizzas so should be same size, were both delivered in XXL boxes but the pizza on right in photo was obviously only a Large pizza. Called the kingswood branch of Papa Johns, offered to send the photo reasonably asking for reduction in cost to what had been received but was refused. Quality of pizza was also poor as can also be seen in the photo. Won't be ordering from them again.
