Incredible vibe and place. Cost pub but guys pls reconsider the recipe of your desserts. The brownie tastes smtn else the tiramisu wasnt giving as well. I beg that you review your dessert menu cos such a lovely place x

Great experience would come again

I was saying in a very cozy corner in a comfy chair and planned to have dinner and a few beers. About halfway through the turned the music way up and the noise level was too much so I quickly finished my food and left. Won't be back While I understand noise level is difficult to control in a restaurant, the noise level when I arrived was fine. The issue I took was when the volume of the music was increased after I got my food. I think that, at least, is very controllable.

What a pub, super location in Little Venice which we’ll definitely be back for! Service was amazing with very personable waiters and the food speaks for itself, got to go!

I was down from Scotland with some pals & found this gem, close to paddington. Really nice looking building & even better inside. We were looked after by Mo & Charles. Really great service & looked after from arrival to leaving, even through a busy service period. Highly recommend & we'll be back down the road soon enough. P.s it's Dog friendly too.

Not cool guys. Been coming here 3 years as I live next door and got quite aggressively kicked out on a date with my girlfriend after she forgot her ID. We said we will just have food and no alcohol but got raised voice response that “It’s the law” and told to leave. Considering the majority of people in the area are Muslim, I don’t think drinking alcohol should be a requirement for my local :( People should be allowed to come in and purchase other things; which I’m sure people do without being told to leave.

Home like feel, very welcomed and looked after, good selection of drinks and food is great. Will return..

I was in charge of finding a local pub to have a Sunday roast and I stumbled upon this gem! The fact that they had people queuing outside before 12pm already made a great first impression. The food was amazing and delicious for its price, however, it would have been even better if they had included an apple sauce to pair with the pork, other than that the portion and taste was 10/10. Honourable mention for Mo, he was very hospitable, always ensuring if we needed anything extra, checking up and just creating a friendly atmosphere! It was a complete experience and we will definitely be back again soon.

Took some Australian friends to "experience" the British Sunday pub lunch. Didn't disappoint. Only slight quibble, by the time we got to deserts there were only two options. They enjoyed their sticky toffee pudding but my brownie could have been better, However that was only a minor point. The online booking only allows 1.5 hours. We way exceeded that and even though they were busy there was no pressure to leave.

Friendly service, delicious food served hot (and quick too). Lively atmosphere.

The Bridge House in either Paddington or little Venice, right by a canal bridge comes at you like a fun, effervescent house of madness, in the nicest way. Busy on a Saturday afternoon with lots of people wanting beer and food, lots of smiley faces. Great place for a pint...AND...I suspect, a great place for a "shared" Sunday lunch experience.

Back again to this amazing gem of a place to see Edward 11 which was so well performed by all the theatre members staff are excellent and so friendly the food is brilliant and the venue is perfectly positioned for ease to get to from a few stations

Mo sat me and my friends at a great table for the football. He single handedly made our experience in this pub - brilliant with his great customers service and exceptional charm. What a pub and what a man Mo is. Top top balowkar

Mo. Where do i start - absolute gent. Funny, polite, accommodating. If a Michelin star restaurant wants a 11/10 waiter, Mo’s your guy. Deserves director status, get him in charge of operations but keep him front of house. The boss, the guy, my mate - Mo.

They take service "charge" which is a tip after we paid a cash tip. General manager promised a refund. Never refunded. Service charge is NOT mandatory and pretending it to be is not lawful. UPDATE: I myself refused to accept the refund, NOT Bridge House. Bridge House just respond by saying they refuse to refund. No, I declined finally. Again, no transparency nor honesty. This has been a long back and forth. A business that should be avoided. There is no "threat" for reviews, everyone has the right to leave a review on a business. This has been THE worst experience with a business. Unprofessional, Ian the general manager giving me a faulty email, then his private email, then requiring my email for a refund via PayPal, then not refunding ..... Avoid, avoid, avoid. ZERO stars!

Be ready for a bustling pub with a lot of atmosphere … if you’re looking for a romantic place to spend an evening engaging with a friend, it’s not the place for you but !!! If you’re looking to have a great time chatting and making new friends, this is the perfect place

A real delight. Having popped in whilst exploring the area we were charmed by a lovely Scottish chap who was extremely helpful. We ended up staying and enjoying a tasty burger and just wanted to thank the lovely staff for their great service. Now I know it's here I will be back!

Great Sunday roast and the service was so good...we were a party of six and we could not fault anything. Best yorkshires we've ever had at a restaurant/ pub. And such good value!

Went for food before seeing the show upstairs, we had the 4 sharing plates for £18, fantastic food, incredible value, great service, will definitely be back!

After pushing our way in through a crowd on the entrance path, we were immediately hit with very loud heavy rock music. Our table was in an area of the pub where this was at it's worst. We asked to move tables, or for the music to be turned down, but as neither of these options was apparently available, we left and ate somewhere else. We're not old codgers, but we do like to talk during a meal, and I have honestly never heard music so loud apart from music- focussed pubs. Certainly not in gastro type pubs offering a full food menu.

Visited with a friend and baby for lunch and drinks and had a lovely experience. The two guys working there were so helpful and friendly, they really made it a great visit - thank you! The cocktails were fantastic and the food delicious, so all round would recommend.

Good pub, with large indoor and outdoor dining space. The menu is very meat heavy but they have some great veggie bar snack options. 3 bar snacks for £18 is expensive. The area of London makes this place as you can walk by Little Venice after your meal.

Nice pub in good location. Good food and beer at reasonable prices for London. Service was good and staff friendly. Biggest negative was that the music was way too loud and not really conducive to a conversation and not very relaxing. Just turn the music down a few notches and then it would have been a 5 score.

Enjoyed having my birthday here. Mo was amazing at serving everyone and got everyone to sing me Happy Birthday in the pub. It made it very special. Jay was really hospitable and had a special brownie and ice cream for me . He always remembers me. And is very efficient. A great pub and great staff.

First of all, the friendly atmosphere of when you first step into the pub is memorable, its electric. I was greeted by bryony and she gave recommendations based on where me and my partner had been before, the food was outstanding and the service from bryony was immaculate, she was very friendly, very bubbly and is a credit to the industry

During a recent visit to the area I stumbled across this little gem of a pub. From the moment I entered the premises and up until I left, I was made to feel comfortable and well looked after as a solo diner, especially by Bryony who was very friendly & engaging. I also especially enjoyed the food, (Haddock & Chips) and I will definitely return, very soon!!

We went here for drinks and just got some soda's. You get ice and lemon in your glass. The place is very nice and also airconditioned which was a relief in the hot weather. They have some cool crafted sodas as well.

Mo was a great waitor, vibe is great, lovely atmosphere, AMAZING espresso martini, best I've ever had.

The waitress took the menu out of my hand and said the kitchen is closed at 9:30pm. We thought maybe she was just having a bad day, but several other staff members were rude too. Wouldn't reccomended.

They "charge" a service "charge" which is a tip. We gave a cash tip, not realising they take service "charge". Most customer don't understand that a service "charge" is neither a charge not do they have to pay it. We requested a refund, but after back and forth the General manager Ian Stretch who's in the public domain offered his PRIVATE email, which has red flags all over it. Still waiting (in vain) for our service "charge" refund. You don't need tom "pay" a service charge. Businesses KNOW that especially Americans leave a cash tip. We moved into the area and checked out local businesses, this one gets a big swerve.

All you want from a London pub. Food, ambience, staff , beers and even the toilets were excellent on 17th July. Even better , you get away from the babble of Paddington to the real Little Venice.

Came several times for shows upstairs and stayed for drinks in the pub. The service was particularly excellent, special mention to Mo and Jay for looking after us.

I cannot say we had a great experience here. We were looking for a typical pub with great food in an interesting area of London to meet someone who was flying in from the US. Based on the reviews and the location we chose the Bridge House. Big mistake. The entire building was wrapped up in a construction foil, not an impressive appearance. The inside decor is not bad, but I’ve seen much better elsewhere. The music playing was extremely loud to the point where we did not hear each other talk. Our requests to lower the volume met with negative answers for an hour. As there were other groups of people trying to communicate by loudly talking, we ended up threatening to leave and indicated a loss of 9 Sunday roast dinners to the management. Magic words, volume lowered to a pleasant background music. The food and drinks were very nice, but not exceptional, and we did not care much for the lounge type seating, would have preferred classic dining room.

Some of the best chips and service I’ve had in London! I can’t wait to return as it’s a great place to eat, celebrate and chill!

It was a Sunday afternoon, the sun was shining so I was inspired to take a walk alongside the beautiful Little Venice. Upon my journey I stumbled across the establishment that is The Bridge House to quench my thirst in the summer sun. The staff were so lovely and kind which added to my already glorious day. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the area, they do a cracking pint!

Never ever I drink wine £12,80 per glass- oposit Backemgam palase is just £8,80. The worst plase for money… and beer one glass £7,30 - I am shocked

It’s been our favorite local spot for years. Our ritual is grab some food and drinks before heading upstairs to the canal cafe theater for an evening of comedy (usual newsreview).

The food was hideously overcooked. The haddock in the fish and chips was so dry it could have been a cracker. The base of the sticky toffee pudding was like chewing rubber. The chicken in the Caesar salad was dehydrated and the gunpowder potatoes were solid in the centre.

This place has the triple threat. Great food. Atmosphere and local. Love it

I come here often and the service is always excellent, the staff are professional and accomodating and there is a timeless atmosphere to the place that evinces much of the literary and artistique heritage of the area. It's a home away from home for me.

We had a wonderful time in this quaint and very nice old-style English pub. Our server, Xhorda, was AMAZING!!

A superb evening at this wonderful establishment. Food was first class, and customer service was outstanding. Caters well for the disabled, with no steps, and an accessible toilet. Next to the canal, and a lovely walk along the canal path back to Paddingon Station, all wheelchair friendly. You may well need a large drink to navigate your way around Paddington Station, so this is the ideal venue to come to first!

Fourteen of us booked for a mid week lunch which every one enjoyed, service was friendly and efficient. The Sausage and Mash was exceptional and praised by all that had it.

1st time in little Venice meeting friends who suggested The Bridge House. What a gem of a place. Excellent food and drinks right on the waters edge in a lovely area of London. We will most definitely be back to explore further and grab lunch at this lovely pub. Well done guys 5 stars

I hadn’t eaten a good Sunday Roast since years, as I normally never liked it very much, but the roast of The Bridge House was definitely exceptionally delicious!
