Service was ok, we sat outside and you can order through the phone. We both had a steak, I clicked the 'rare' option and my friend 'medium rare'. They were both more than well done, very dry. The beer smelled like wet dog for some reason. Onion rings and chips were nice tho. The table was also really gross, we were sitting outside but these tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks.

Always great value, but food (burger) was overcooked this time.

Perfect place to go for cheap food, and a ok atmosphere. Just don't go in expecting Michelin star.

I took my Canadian relative and his girlfriend for lunch here and they enjoyed the food and the experience of mixing with the locals making them feel comfortable and welcoming one day I'll bring them back when they are back in the country 🙂

The food was absolutely shocking, I came here twice and ordered two different types of burgers and both times the patties where overdone massively. Vile!!

I recently visited a Wetherspoon in Belfast and had a great experience. The pub had a spacious, comfortable ambiance with a mix of traditional and modern décor. The service was prompt, and the staff were polite and efficient. I enjoyed a delicious burger. The food was satisfying and affordable, making it a great value. Overall, it’s a perfect spot for a relaxed meal and drinks, and I’d highly recommend it.

Normally love food here. We are feom perth But visited Ireland and found this one to be terrible. Food looked liked it had been cooked 2 days ago. Definetly not returning

Probably the worst Spoons I've been in and I've been in a lot !!. Food was shocking

It goes without saying that the carpets are sticky and feel like I'm walking on puke. The staff are incapable of rational thought, are opinionated, discriminatory, rude and have a self induced superiority complex over the public even though they are receiving minimum wage and work at a minimum status below McDonald's, possibly KFC, perhaps sanitation, lower than a Wendy's dumpster refurbisher. The food is microwaved and is tasteless imo and I once bit into a sinue in a chicken curry, low quality meat, The beer tastes past it's sell by date and is higher quality in Tesco's from my experience. You can do better, replace carpets with lino, remove ideology and politics from the bathroom walls and Pico brain workers would be a start Some customers/staff engage in destructive gossip groups who will likely harass and doxx your private life

The first port of call as we landed in Belfast was the local Wetherspoon. I got the usual Wetherspoons breakfast, which was good (the usual), and per the norm, it was a great price for what you get. Excellent to get free refills for coffee, tea, etc... It soon filled up as Fridays normally do, but the staff did a great job with fast service. We then decided to have a walk around the city and go back for a beer when they opened at 12 pm midday. (New beer licence laws). However, I then waited nearly 30 minutes in the queue to just get 3 drinks. Fridays must be busy, so to see not many staff on was disappointing. Overall, the typical 'spoons' you'd find anywhere else.

The food doesn't compare to other JD Wetherspoons but in the end of the day it's a pub if you're just going for drinks it's perfectly adequate however the prices are slightly higher than other wetherspons so it might be worth noting that you can find local pubs (which likely have live music especially friday-sunday) if you're willing to spend that extra 50p per pint.

Seen a man doing football manager really sums up the night 5 ⭐, corona didnt come but thats the weatherspoons toll 🙌

Food was not good, my fried eggs were like rubber. In fact my boyfriend though they were funny. The cod was tiny and all batter.

Nice place for a cheap meal. They serve a pint of Guinness. Husband always gets the portion of chicken wings. I like the skinny chicken burger. Can't fault this place.

An oasis. Bill the barman dry knowledgeable and inimitable helpful. Real ales turnover quite remarkable. And..breakfasts to die for.

Belfast could do with a couple more locations. This one was over run with students (mid September) and probably 15-16 year olds taking advantage of the mass of 1st year students arriving in the city . Hard to find tables and so noisy. Overall a typical spoons, staff really friendly and fast service.

This chain is well priced. They usually have offers of food and drinks included for very little more money, that is, it is worth asking for it included. The place is very large like all those in the chain. It is centrally located and has good value for money. There was a good atmosphere and the waiters and waitresses were very friendly. I always repeat in this chain.

Went to The Bridge House twice. On our first night in Belfast we needed a quick and cheap feed, as you do. Wetherspoons caters for that precise demographic and in we went, like the hungry travellers that we were. Two plates of fish and chips duly arrived and they were more than good value. Hot, tasty and well cooked, we couldn't have got any better for the price. Impressed enough to venture in the following day for breakfast, we soon wished we hadn't. As good as the fish and chips were, the breakfast was the exact opposite. Lukewarm, barely cooked and lazily put together. Very, very disappointing. Recommended for dinner, avoid for brekkie.

We do like Wetherspoons breakfast but had to wait 40 mins. The toast wasn't toasted, just warmish hard bread!

Do not eat here ..dreadful that is if you even get the food you ordered.

We were a little dissappointed with the breakfast. The the potato cake was dry on the ulster fry.

Appalling service, labeled the outside table with a faded 4 making it look like 30 instead of 304 we ordered to 30 instead of 304 because it wasn’t visible. We then informed the staff and they told us that it wasn’t there problem and after we told them it wasn’t exceptable they then kicked us out.

Ne aware this place gets extremely busy as is cheaper than most ...beer is great amd again prices are fantastic 👏...food is typical of a wetherspoons so not the best but priced very well ....gets so busy it takes a while to get served so I suggest using the app as is much quicker...will visit again 👍

Got a cheese burger and fries. I'm pretty sure I would have had a bigger burger and fries if I had gone to the local McDonald's and got a Happy Meal. Didn't even drink my drink because I felt like I was eating on an empty stomach. Can't say I'll be back.

Worst of any Wetherspoons I've visited. Can't cope if at all busy, 1/2 hour for 1st drink, had to go ask for 2nd. Ordered food at 17.02 got an overcooked mess at 18.30 Won't be back

Great value Wetherspoons in the heart of Belfast. Good for a reasonably priced meal with a large menu and drinks selection.

Fantastic service, fabulous, piping hot food and perfectly served Guinness. The pub is clean and well cared for, the staff were friendly, courteous and happy, and we had a wonderful time. What more can you ask for. We will be back very soon.

Your typical Wetherspoons experience. Clean enough,cheap enough and service grand. Only downfall is occasionally propositioned by toothless men regarding politics and the occasional emo barking at the front door.

Despite being packed, they closed off the part of the outside area we were sitting in. We hadn't gotten our food yet so we mentioned this to the server who asked us to move. He said he'd make sure that he'd say that we had moved tables. I could see the food sitting under the heat lamps for 45 minutes until I had to go up for it instead of being served.

Food and eye candy absolutely spot on

Had to visit Belfast's only Wetherspoons. Loads of tables and quick app service. Not related to this restaurant but the app needs a little more clarity on which drinks are included with each deal.

Double Fireball and Apple Juice is the cheapest and quickest way to get absolutely destroyed :)

Absolutely horrible place. Had the small breakfast, quality was bad. Then ordered a Guinness when they were allowed to serve (not their fault, N.I. law), but my god was it disgusting. Worst pint of Guinness I've had in a very long time. They should be ashamed for serving it, what with them being situated on the isle of Ireland

really the busiest i have seen this place in ages, the barman though commented that the new place opposite ( cafe 1962) opening has worked wonders for Spoons, as people who can’t get in to the cafe then turn to Spoons.

Very cold day because of covid we had to sit outside & wait half an hour for a drink.

Not the best Spoons I've ever visited, ale was poor, WiFi non-existent, floor stickiest I've ever come across, toilets mediocre at best.

It's a wetherspoons. Belfast and NI more generally would benefit from more of these to spread the bargain pub offering around. I suspect this one is less enjoyable as it's the only one in town.

Tonight was my first experience with Spoons. And let me tell you, I’ve become a fan, instantaniously.

If you're in Belfast and want to go to a Spoons, this is it. Can't really say anything else. We were in for the Euros (2024) final, so there was probably a bit more of an atmosphere than normal.

Behaviour from a manager which is even more alarming. Tall, beard, tattoos and spent most of the night in the smoking area with other staff, not the issue. I was very taken back to openly watch him mock and poke fun at someone with a learning disability. Not everyone is the same, some have ADHD, ADD, Autism and that shouldn’t ever be a reason to be made fun of and the fact this worker did it so openly was horrifying, it was my cousin who they were mocking. Bouncers we’re grand but I would hate to think this happens to multiple people!!!

Had a great time first visit will be back.

Clean spacious reliable pub. The staff are upbeat and look glad to see people coming in even when they have just opened their door and people are walking in with big cases

Very busy place on a Saturday evening. Had to have a good look round before we saw a four seater table with one person sat at it and asked if we might share the table which we did and had a great old chat with the person whom we joined.food was served relatively quickly considering how busy it was.food was also hot. Altogether a very pleasant time .

Breakfast was really good but visit cut short when we were asked to leave as we had non-offensive football shirts on as a theme for a stag do. Not even haf a drink at that point

We waited around an hour for our food, when it finally came it tasted cold and uncooked. My sisters mashed potatoes had skin and it was cold. Everyone was so loud and people were getting served when they came before us. But the waiters were nice

Very very noisy pub. Hardly any chips on the plate to point I asked whether anymore were coming in a bowl. Advised that was standard amount, literally about 7 chips. Know cheap food but I would rather pay that bit more than leave still feeling hungry!

It is good example how the Brits manage to dial in the profit margin at a price point for the average consumer. Tables are dirty to fit in with streets surrounding it.

Just a bog standard wetherspoons. Nowt special, staff were good, no atmosphere what so ever at 10am for breakfast.

Steak Tuesday, great value, but service was poor, I was there with my wife and we ordered one steak medium rare and one well done both were on the very rare which was ok for me but had to send the other one back, the restaurant wasn't very busy (it was Tuesday afternoon) but it took almost 25 minutes to get the steak redone. When it arrived it was very well done which was ok but meant we were eating separately.

Drink is reasonable for a city centre bar and the atmosphere is friendly but the mens toilets are disgusting!

Ulster fry services cold, couldn’t eat soda bread rock hard, bacon undercooked. Better to stick servicing pints as they can’t cook

Its was very busy when I arrived so I expected the food to be slow but is delivered in reasonable time, it’s hard to fault the food the service and the price.

Very busy and not as clean as some wetherspoons but it's a very busy place and food is still great as well as the service.

Usual spoons service, quality and atmosphere, Guinness is 3 quid on a Monday yum yum 😋

Hard to beat Spoons, in this day & age it's the only gaff you'll a decent priced pint. Selection is class, could do with Sprousin the place up, maybe a juke box for da crack 😅

Wetherspoons belfast very good, nice size,good atmosphere, good food,great variety of drinks,reasonably price, however the service is atrocious... Was in there on 15th June 2024 at 20.00hrs.. Counted 12 staff behind bar, with probably 15 people waiting at the bar to get served... Took me 15mins to get 4 drinks.. The bar staff have not a clue how to attend or serve customers.. They were running around like headless chickens.. and the managers were just as bad... Went up a second time for a glass of coke and took me 10mins... Though I thoroughly like Wetherspoons the training of staff and management need a very good look at.... I still would rate Wetherspoons as a good public house to go to, but unfortunately they do have there negative failures that need to be addressed....

Decent Guinness and I'm sure the cheapest price in belfast at just over 4 quid. The unique thing about wetherspoons is you can order drinks from their app to your table. My friends in USA were able to buy me a pint once I told them what table I was at!

Standard Wetherspoons but service was really quick and staff very friendly. Have had food before in this Spoons that was a bit terrible but had the buttermilk chicken burger and was surprisingly tasty all things considered. Handy location for the Limelight - pre and post gig. --- Went again pre Belsonic and again food was really good. Service a bit slower but the place was heaving so no fault on the staff who did their very best.
