yo i had iced macha coffee here with mango syrup for takeaway with my reusable coffee cup, one of the best macha coffees ive had life ever shoutout to the person working and the spot for staying open till 8 pm great stuff!

Ordered a surprise bag at 4.50 and given 4 cossiants. Well that was a surprise. Won't be back ever. Complete Joke !!!!!!!

Absolutely horrendous, 2 eggs and 1 bacon was on the bottom of the bag and not in the box with rest food ,which I couldn’t eat as I did not know who had touched it never again will I get out here again . Disgraceful

I ordered from Bob and berts in Stranmillis. the driver rang me to say he was sitting outside!!! I said please leave it in the porch and he left it sitting on the outside step!!I rang him back to ask if he would please leave it in the porch, it was obvious he hadn't a clue what I was saying!!. The food was freezing, the drink was cold!!. The service was appalling. We will never use this company again. A lot of money spent on food that was given to the dog.

Actually one of the better value spots for food and coffee, in what has become a bit of a rip off street. Staff are very hit and miss, tho.

Después de pagar se le dijo que sería 20-30 minutos de espera para la comida. Esto no me molestó (aunque debería haber sido dicho antes de que había pedido). Los panini's fueron entregados 15 minutos después y las hamburguesas, patatas fritas y comidas para niños fueron entregadas 30 minutos más tarde! Una espera de 45 minutos con la comida entregada por etapas. Cuando les pregunté cuánto tiempo más estaría la comida caliente simplemente dijeron que la cocina estaba muy ocupada que pronto estaría lista, estamos tan ocupados que hemos tenido que cerrar la cocina a nuevos pedidos. Incluso una oferta para recalentar los panini habría sido útil, ya que no queríamos empezar a comer hasta que nuestros lados habían llegado. En general, un almuerzo decepcionante caro!

Left a whole fry off the order, contacted the restaurant to see if they could send it to be told they would check, they called back advising to request a refund for the item and place another order, so pay additional delivery fees and wait even longer for a mistake they made? Fuming and the food was disappointing anyway not what I remember the food being like.

Ordered through the app and they took payment but didn’t update the store with my order, was waiting 40 minutes on two sodas and they gave it to the wrong people who came in after me, very unorganised.

Been here a couple of times now as it's a chill place to get something for breakfast whilst killing a little time in the morning. Staff always friendly. Bob & Berts can be a little pricey but they do a decent offer with their breakfast club option (open-11:30a.m.).

When here this morning with a friend from out of town and was embarrassed… poached eggs over cooked and like cannon balls, coffee like water (obviously a problem with machine) and service was a absolute joke…. STAY CLEAR

Less than a few minutes from our hotel this became our spot of choice for a quick coffee and breakfast bap on the trip. Reasonable prices and polite service every time. Definitely better than expected!

Bob & Bert's is chain coffee shops. But the scone and coffee I ordered were my taste.

Service was impeccable, staff were wonderful. However, I couldn’t help but notice that they seemed very stressed and stretched thin. I would assume this is solely due to not enough staff on the floor. Also, it seemed as though the kitchen staff were running their own orders out to customers?

Very nice place to go for food and drinks. Their menu seems endless and the food was very tasty. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. Finding a nearby parking spot however seemed impossible.

This is one of our go-to places for lunch, taking a break from work. The food is lovely with a good variety, and they easily accommodate changes, such as making burgers without the included cheese. They do seem to be a little understaffed, though, with lunch food orders sometimes taking over 30 minutes to arrive.

They put the wrap in with the sweet potatoe fries. So the fries had egg and brown sauce on them. And they were for two different people. I can't understand why you would mix food together, when they were separate orders.

Arrived at restaurant at 12:50, had booked cinema for 14:00, so thought we had plenty of time to have our fist experience at a Bob & Berts. We were wrong! Spent about 10 minutes at counter ordering food and drinks (we ordered the drinks to have a long with our food, obviously) and sat down at table with our drinks at 13:00. Restaurant was freezing, I mean freezing, customers all wearing coats, hats scarfes etc. Although we were dressed in jumpers we did not think we would have needed hats and coats for inside the restaurant, wish we had of brought them! Mentioned to staff and was told they would turn heat up. Waited about 15 minutes for our fry and Eggs Benedict before we first asked when our food might be ready, the girl we spoke to said they were very busy, she was polite etc but when we arrived the restaurant was far from busy, it was almost empty. Waited another 10 minutes (at this point our drinks we bought to have along with our meal were now finished) then asked another member of staff would our food be long. Pretty sure he didn't hear us or at least hear us properly although while wiping the table beside us he did lift his head, look right at us and said "WHAT?" Definitely felt less like a sorry what did you say and more like a "what's your problem or maybe what are you looking at! We thought it might be better not to ask him anymore questions as he already seemed pretty upset about something and did want to cause him anymore distress! We decided to wait another 5 minutes so 30 from ordering and 40 minutes from entering the restaurant to see if our food might arrive Although even if if had of arrived at that point we would have been hard pushed to eat the food(specially with our no numb fingers) and make it to the cinema so we decided to leave. We went to the counter and quickly explained the situation and asked for a refund, staff here were very polite but explained that they could only refund the food and not the drinks. We really didn't have time to argue but we came to this restaurant for the food, the drinks were to go along with the food which we did not receive. If we had of just wanted drinks we could have we could have went anywhere. Just the clarify we live in Newtownabbey so have travelled from newtownabbey through belfast to try Bob &Berts breakfast, not Bob & Berts drinks, cold restaurant and disgruntled employee. Anyway, this "experience" cost us our time, fuel to get to restaurant and £15 for drinks.

Goujon meal missing curry sauce

Food tasted nice but wasn't what I ordered. I had ordered a goujon wrap with the southwest mayo. Meal came as just the goujons.

I had a very good cappuccino and gluten free brownies

paid for an extra egg and did not receive it. the rest of the food that arrived was good.

Girls serving on the counter were friendly and apologetic for ridiculously slow service due to one chef who apparently had been up all night. Children’s order took almost 30 minutes. When adults wrap finally arrived after another half an hours wait, it was an absolute disgrace, basically a wrap with next to nothing inside. We were offered a refund which we took, will most definitely not be back

Ordered 2 breakfast fry’s and only 1 arrived. Called up the branch and the staff member seemed unbothered and unapologetic. Breakfast quality itself was poor. Second time we’ve had a disappointing experience with this branch so we won’t risk a 3rd.

I ordered a halion burger. The chef forgot to put the burger in. It was just a bun with the toppings inside. I have never seen that before and I'm actually surprised he could make this mistake. However, the chips were nice so I'll give 2/5 instead of 1/5.

In 2013, the first Bob & Berts store opened in Portstewart and in the few years b&b shaking up the coffee shop industry everywhere we go in UK with Proper Coffee and Great Grub. During my Uni times I always had my hot chocolate, coffee and frappe. I also love white chocolate iced coffee. There are also many vegetrain items in menu so I like this cafe more. Loved B&B 🥰

Ordered a slice of rainbow cake to be delivered. It was pathetically small for £4.50. 2cm at the widest part!! It was literally a slither of cake. Even worse was the fact it was stale! Literally felt like crust to touch. Tasted bland also, went straight into the bin. Will never bother ordering from again after that. I know times are hard, but I’ve just wasted my own money, hoping for a treat! Not helping yourselves by serving rubbish like that. Shameful.

Food was decent but served with a side of cigarette smoke. We were sitting on the patio, and the staff took their smoke breaks right next to the patio/backdoor, so we got smoke wafting over. Not sure why this is a thing, but 3 staff smoking in the 45 minutes or so we were there.

Food quality is good but was missing an item on the fry up. Coffee was the worst quality I had ever seen ordered a flat white and no foam at all and cup was only half full. Would never order coffee from here again but food maybe but only collection in person to double check order is properly done.

Chicken goujons were over cooked couldn’t eat them. Chips were freezing and undercooked. Very disappointed normally really good service from here.

3 Times now on 3 separate occasions that there is no poached eggs is it really that hard to have eggs in a business that serves breakfast. Won’t be back to be told a 4th time.

Pleasantly surprised by this place. They have a huge menu of both drinks and food, not just the standard coffee shop array of pastries. You can get a gourmet coffee and a full meal here. They also have some fun holiday drinks. I had a gingerbread latte and it was delicious. I also had a salad that was fresh and well-made. The staff were lovely and friendly. I will note that the salad was a bit overdressed for my taste, so if you like a more lightly dressed salad, either specify that or ask for the dressing on the side.

I went with my wife and 7 month old son. I got my food in a timely manner, however my wife's just did not arrive, while 4 staff were standing behind the counter doing nothing. We even asked for the food a second time after mine arrived. Still nothing. There is no excuse for incompetence of this degree. It is not a difficult job as I have worked in an identical establishment in my youth. Absolutely useless staff.

Had a nice family lunch here on Saturday afternoon. My salad was great, as was the coffee! My son ate every morsel of his lunch. Good GF options too. Recommended

Best coffee in Belfast, but the food is a bit wanting given how pricey it is. Also it’s a great place for getting my uni work done. It’s probably worth being a regular just for the coffee

Food didn’t arrive but is recorded as delivered. Atrocious customer service - 2 hours after ordering and the food not arriving was told “the JustEat delivery driver probably stole it, that’s what has happened before.” They didn’t have a phone number for the delivery driver & said it will either be delivered or it won’t. The then proceeded to hang up and continue to hang up (it wasn’t a heated conversation and there was no basis for hanging up).

Half the things on the menu are never available. It takes a lifetime for food to come and most recently, when we were sitting outside (waiting 30 mins) and food came out the waitress said “you can get your condiments from inside”, despite her walking right back there and seeing us struggling with three dogs. Just a bad operation.

The RUDEST staff we’ve ever encountered; no effort made whatsoever - no hello at till, just a cold, unfriendly, blank stare to greet us and order taken begrudgingly. When I held my hands out to receive the takeaway order, the waitress slammed the food on the counter as opposed to handing it to me directly. She forgot our cake and was extremely rude to us when we asked for this missing item. The whole interaction we were treated as if we were causing a huge inconvenience for daring to order. Paninis were not as advertised- missing items inside and food was average at best for prices they charge. Also, why have multiple paninis on display if you’re not going to vend them? 100% will not be returning and will be warning others not to go - though the couple behind us, shocked by how we were treated, let us know they had decided to leave of their own accord - so perhaps they are already managing this on their own! Wish there was a negative stars rating as this would be more accurate.

Lovely coffee and good selection of food on offer. I have the goujons and they were tasty enough for the price. It was towards the end of the night and it was slightly dirty in places. The outside, especially the side area could really be doing with a clean up.

I found the customer service to be really bad when I was in for a late lunch yesterday. I don't know if the girl taking our order was having a bad day or what but she was very rude and haughty, I definitely won't be back when there are so many nicer/welcoming cafes in Belfast!
