It’s a tall title but true, I walked in not expecting the depth of flavour heading my way. First of all the onion Bhaji was a significant portion, I think approx 6/8 balls, all fresh , fluffy inside with superb outer coats, then the lamb Bhuna took me back when proper curries were in existence, absolutely outstanding, deep flavour, tender lamb, fresh and simmering, even the pilou rice was plumped , and full of sweet things, I came away full and very surprised, they must have a truly authentic chef here.

We ate in here because we were staying at the hotel. Service was poor - i had to ask someone to take our order it took 3 attempts to get a jug of water and it took ages for each course to come / far longer then it would take to cook each dish fresh ! When the main course came it was lovely and hot but the cannelloni wasn’t cooked and we couldn’t eat it ! We told the waiter and the chef actually came out and apologised which was a lovely touch . A shame because it was too late to wait for as long for another meal to come . They did discount our meals We went elsewhere the next night

Me alojé en el Marriott nuevamente y esta vez decidí probar el restaurante del hotel. Bajamos las escaleras alrededor de las 8 pm y aparte de mí y mi acompañante había quizás otras 5 personas. La camarera era muy agradable y eficiente. No tuvimos que esperar mucho para que llegaran nuestros principiantes. Comida decente, ambiente asequible y ambiente. Definitivamente voy a comer aquí de nuevo.

The staff showed no interest in solving my problems, and the overall quality of the service left much to be desired. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for professional treatment and a positive experience. It’s a shame that the service was so disappointing."

123 The ParadeHad another amazing night here. Always a great crowd and the acts are bang on. You wanna see Erasure? Here's the absolute best nearest thing. You wanna see Oasis? Here are a bunch of talented lads that give you that and lot more (guitarist and lead singer smash it and massive props to the drummer - always overlooked but this guy was mint!). My ultimate respect goes to the amazing bar staff who are so understanding, patient and efficient. Give these guys a pay rise! Top service under much pressure. Shout out to to Terry and to he who is known as Big Black Ball (he says it's not a condition but personally I think he should get it looked at). 5 stars all the way!

Harborne Fish BarI’ve never been more excited and thoroughly pleased to try fish and chips. There isn’t any takeaway that safely offers Gluten Free in Quinton or around Harborne. This place was recommended to us, they safely offer Gluten Free with a separate fryer and even cooks it right in-front of you, and it’s fresh to order! It costs only £10 for GF small fish and chips, and it certainly isn’t small either! The chips were soft and crispy, plenty of salt, the fish batter was actually CRISPY and the fish itself was flakey, soft and juicy. My husband isn’t GF but he ordered it too and said it’s absolutely delicious! This will now become our regular fish and chip shop, thank you for catering to coeliac disease so safely. You should put signs outside offering GF, or advertise it as i’m sure even more people would flock here. Thank you to the staff🩷
