Great lunch with the ladies Lovely food, great service from Alison our server.reasonable prices. we don't dine anywhere else.

We were served by Caitlin who really went the extra mile. I asked for a Pina Colada which wasn’t on the menu. The lovely Caitlin went to the trouble of researching how to make the perfect one and it was delicious. How many staff would have gone to the trouble to do that I wonder? Thank you Caitlin, wonderful service with a smile!

Lovely meal in a cosy setting. My husband had the steak sampler which was cooked perfectly, and my chicken salad was lovely. Lucy H served us today, and she was very friendly and helpful. I'd really recommend this place for a nice meal.

Brilliant Sunday lunch, the starters were very tasty, main course was roast beef which was cooked to perfection and to make the meal complete we had fantastic friendly service from Jess who is a absolute star.

I have to admit I’m not really a fan of Beefeater, the last couple of times I’ve been to one have been pretty terrible. So I wasn’t expecting greatness, however how wrong was I The food was very good, I’ve paid a lot more for far worse, the bacon burger was very good. But what makes this Beefeater better than the rest is the service, absolutely superb from the host to the server to the bartender- all excellent

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch here yesterday. Everything was cooked to perfection and Jess, the waitress, was her usual friendly and bubbly self. She is an absolute asset to this restaurant.

Stayed for three nights at the Premier Inn. Food very good and plentiful. Service was also very good with staff attentive and very pleasant.

Excellent from start to finish. Dan made us very welcome when we arrived and Janet looked after us from there. It was our sons birthday and Janet made him feel special. Food was great steak cooked to perfection as always

This is my 2nd visit to the Brecks with work . I must say that all the staff have been fantastic , professional, courteous and welcoming each time I walk in , even in these tough times for them . If I name 1 or 2 that would be a diservice to the rest of the staff who's name i did not get. The food was absolutely beautiful no matter what I ordered ( apart from the scallops !! ) , every starter and main was cooked to perfection and the portions were not lacking so thank you to all the chef's who we don't see . I cannot recommend this beefeater enough if you want a great meal .Put it on your TO DO list . Thank you all again . Gaz

I came in to have some food last week my first time out since the pandemic amazing food cooked by Nathan and Lee very friendly service from our waitress Alison and manager Jess we felt very comfortable with the measurements put in place and the pub/restaurant were both very clean. I would highly recommend visiting for food we will definitely be returning. Thankyou again.

I popped in here for a quick pint on the way home , its 2020 and covid times so I wasn't expecting much , However , it was fantastic, the staff were all really friendly and I think her name was Emilia, sorry if its wrong , was really welcoming and very good at her job, everyone seemed happy customers and staff , probably the best most welcoming pub been in this year well done and thankyou

Ate as a family last night 05/10 for my mums birthday, the food was impeccable, my bbq rack of ribs were cooked to perfection, trio of fish excellent, yummy bacon and cheese burger and a perfectly cooked Ribeye for my boyfriend, I believe this was all done by Lee and Nathan in the grill. Service from Kerry was second to none, she had a right laugh with us all and you could tell she was always smiling (even behind the mask).

Been to this establishment many times over years. Last week of government £10 off. 8 people 4 adults 4 children. I ordered gammon, priced nearly £13, all steaks had weights on menu but not gammon. When food was brought I complained at the thickness of the "gammon", looked more like a rasher of bacon, you could see the light through it. Waitress said that was all the chef had been sent to work with! and no point in taking it back! Had a toasty last week at Atkinsons, Sheffield, the bacon was over 3 times thicker than the "gammon" . The children had already started otherwise I would have walked out. Went to "SIZZLER" Bramley last week, had a brilliant gammon, 3 pieces at least 6 times thicker than "brecks" and took home about half of it, which made a reasonably good meal for 2 seniors. It included mushrooms, toms, corn on cob, 4 onion rings 2 eggs and 2 pineapple rings, garden peas and triple cooked chips all for less than £9 and halved for govn. deal which finished there on 9th September. Actual cost for 2 meals and 2 drinks much better quality and value for" much much" less than "brecks". Only about 2 miles between Brecks and SIZZLER known as KING HENRY for a far better meal. I am sure the last time I had gammon at brecks, it had a weight on menu, as I usually check if weight is specified. I felt they are ripping patrons and tax payers/ government off.

We are staying in the Premier Inn next door and had breakfast this morning. Alison was wonderful, so welcoming and she explained how everything worked now. We felt really safe with all the precautions. Breakfast was amazing, the highest of standards and so much choice. Thank you so much to Alison, we really enjoyed our breakfast.

Ate out at the Brecks Beefeater twice in August. The modifications for Covid-19 were excellent. Obviously, a great deal of work has been put in by the management and staff. Had a really good time on both occasions. Food, wine, company, and staff were all excellent. Special mention goes to Lucy and Amanda for really great service and attention to detail.

What can I say.... 2 nights here.... 2 great nights here! Great food, perfect service by the girls that work here especially kerry, been looked after her for the last 2 nights and the smile is always on her face! She is a great credit to your company! Please pass on my comments to her and her manager as I would say she's always the same to every customer...... The food was great too..... Definitely will return!

Visited over bank holiday weekend for a family meal post lockdown, covid prevention rules were explained on arrival and very easy to follow. The table service was quick and efficient, good food and a varied selection to choose from the reduced menu. Great service from Janet and the team and plan to visit again soon.

this place was great for a steak but since lockdown there steaks have been terrible. Thin cheap cuts never cooked how you want them. Disappointing as used to be great

Excellent food and service provided by staff on our first visit following lockdown. Staff explained all COVID safety measures on entry and once we were seated at our table, so that we were fully aware of what to expect. All food and drinks were brought to our table and screens had been placed between tables which made us feel at ease.We will definitely be returning in the future.

Well looked after and very clean. covid rules adhered to with table service. Drinks appeared very quickly. Reduced menu with a reasonable selection. The premier was cut price which balanced out the cost of the food which although was reasonable was a little dearer than normal when we have visited. The service was good and the costs would not put us off visiting again.

Food needs to be hotter! Staff especially Alison needs to be politer and accept children more she told them all as we arrived that that had to remain seated, before we even stepped into the restaurant!

My family had breakfast after staying next door in the Premier Inn on Wednesday. The manager a young lady was working at 100% very busy thanks to boris. Managed to get us in and very confident with the covid process through out. Probably one of the best ones yet and let's face it there is some bad ones out there. We had Alison t as our server that morning and what a hard working lady she was. Nothing to much trouble. Sorted me out with when I made a booboo on the ordering side at 950.thanks for that Alison your a star. Worked flat out and kept smiling which is a art these days in the restaurant sector. Time and motion wise whitbread it's nice to serve oj and apple juice in those bottles but it takes to long to wash them especially under covid times and get them back in use so drop that Idea for now and make the staffs time more focused on the customer which this branch does extremely well.

When we visited here It was very quiet, got seated straight away, food didn't take long to arrive, was nice, I wouldn't come again but that's just choice, nothing to do with the quality of the food tho. My partner likes it here and used to come alot for his lunch break.

Lovely all you can eat breakfast with a big choice from the cooked and continental options. Also unlimited drinks! Lots of measures in place to comply with Covid regulations such as screens dividing tables, one way systems and hand sanitising stations. Friendly, welcoming staff and amazing food!

Went in for breakfast late morning. Lovely staff, would like to mention Alison our server who was lovely and very patient with the kids. Felt very warm and welcome, would definitely recommend!

Well done to team Brecks for rising to the challenge of re opening in the current circumstances. I visited with my husband for a meal on their re-opening night and was very impressed with all the safety measures that had been put in place. Very clean, staff as welcoming as ever and the food amazing as usual! One way system, regular cleaning of touch points and Perspex screens in place for a safer, more private feeling. Jess our waitress was fabulous and did a great job at managing the new system! Congratulations to manager Dan for training his team so well, will not hesitate to return soon!

Fantastic service, the COVID measures are clear and easy to follow. We had good tasty food with friendly and professionals service. All the staff day and night are lovely but special mention to, Nick, Sarah, Katie and Elizabeth. Hope to see you on the next visit. Craig and Emma x

Absolutely brilliant today, first day open and staff having to deal with a very different way of working, all gone above and beyond as always, couldn’t have felt more comfortable, social distance adhered to , and sanitising stations all around. The food was excellent. Fillet steaks. I want to highlight the service. It was superb and we were superbly looked after by Jess. Very friendly and very helpful. We will be back when a semblance of normality returns.

Have not been in here for a long time due to changing it more from a pub to a eating place, as did many people stop going.The food was dry, inedible and generally poor for a very expensive price for small substandard portions.I did complain but they brought the wrong desert out.Will be long time to going again and would say to try other places over here

The bar meal, a curry was excellent value for money. The service for both the meal & service from behind the bar was fantastic. The bar maid Sam (female) was friendly & bubbly & made us feel at home.

We had a very enjoyable visit last Monday as part of my birthday celebrations. We had a table booked at 6 for 8 adults and a baby. When we arrived the table was decorated with balloons. We had a big round table in a booth which felt roomy and private.The staff were are really friendly, in particular our server who made sure we had everything that we needed throughout the night.The food was nice and reasonable priced. It made it even better when we realised that they are part of the meerkat meals deal. The server took the time to make sure we got the best deal for us. We had a great time and didn’t feel rushed. We would definitely visit again. Thank you.

Stood at bar and locals got served before me, I didnt get served until I spoke up and i could clearly see them talking about me,, i let that go, ordered food, lobster topped burger, nothing like the menu pic, more like a prawn and over cooked, manager was nice and i was given refund, going by the treatment i recieved i decided not to go there for breakfast.. I've gave them average score because the burger was cooked very well.. definitely will not go back...

We got vouchers on the internet so thought we’d try is as we hadn’t been here since the 80's !It was good. Our waitress was chatty and helpful, the gin choices were plentiful and the food was delicious.We spent a reasonable amount on the food due to the voucher but the drinks were a little on the heavy side.All together, we had an enjoyable experience and we will visit again, possibly when the vouchers pop up on line again.

We had a table booked for 5.30pm for a family celebration including 4 children. It was 7pm by the time we had our food. Even then the children’s meals were delivered later. We had no explanation or apologies, despite asking for our food a number of times. We have eaten at the Beefeater a number of times before for family celebrations, but we certainly won’t be back in a hurry. We were totally disappointed.

I have eaten here on numerous occasions and always get an excellent service and good food. On a few occassions I have come with large group or friends/family and work colleagues and the service is still always excellent. The prices can be a little high on some meals but the quality is good so for a special occasion is worth it. I am local to here to will continue to visit for good food and atmosphere.

Went here for lunch. 4 of us. Even the lighter meals are good value. Chicken curry nice. Staff very pleasant.

I was recently on a business trip and stayed at the premier inn and had a meal in the evening on a busy Thursday night and breakfast in the morning in the neighboring Beefeater restaurant. The burger was amazing, cooked to perfection. I opted to sit in the bar area as the restaurant looked quite busy. I was served by a very friendly young man who had Blonde hair, and was wearing a green lanyard. I heard someone calling him Dan, but I cant be sure. He even checked that my food was to my liking, and offered to get me another drink from the bar, delivered to my seat, which was almost like table service!!! In the morning I was served by a very friendly young lady, I think her name was Jess. Breakfast cooked exactly as ordered, and loved the unlimited coffee. Thanks to all at the premier inn Rotherham East.

We have been to this restaurant a number of times, on our stays in Rotherham. On this occasion there were a number of young people on work experience from a local special school. I was very impressed by the way these young people were included in the whole running of the restaurant. They were coached and mentored very patiently and effectively in particular by the waitress served our table. ( I think her name was Jill). The young people were supported according to their needs, so those who were able to get on with the job in hand did so and those who needed a little extra support, were given that support in a very inclusive and respectful way. The young people were being given a very real experience of what it is like to work in a restaurant. As the parent of a child with additional needs, and as someone who works in inclusion, I would like to commend all the staff in the Brecks Rotherham for the very professional, patient and inclusive way they worked with, coached and mentored the young people. It lifted my heart to see it.

Three days this week, evening meals and breakfasts. Good service, quick and nice staff. Had lamb rump, Sirloin Steak and Maple glazed bacon beefburger for evening meals, tasty and obviously good quality meat. Had Southern fried chicken goujons as starter with all mains. Again very enjoyable. This place is popular with locals and hotel residents alike, with plenty of seating on offer. Really enjoyed breakfast, usual Premier fare, good quality produce available. Continental has adequate choice and the Full English options are plentiful and are table service. Can't go wrong at under a tenner or as part of the Meal deal.Service is excellent.

We had a sports team meal for 40 people. The service was fantastic, all the meals arrived correctly and quickly. All the food was fabulous. We particularly liked the BBQ chicken and ribs and the gammon. Would highly recommend. Thanks for looking after us all. Great meal with fantastic service.

Had a meal at this restaurant Saturday evening with my family. Our waitress Janet J was so welcoming and attentive throughout. She engaged with my grandchildren and was just so friendly and gave excellent customer service. I have visited this restaurant many times of the last 20 years and it is one of the only places I order steak as it is always cooked to perfection! I was not disappointed the food was delicious and we didn't have a long waiting time between courses. I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

Had ribeye steak and surf and turf. Prompt service and efficient waitress. Steak was perfectly cooked and tasty. Breakfast was over cooked though, chewiest fried eggs ever!

Met my friend for an early birthday lunch. We were greeted by Hazel who was her usual friendly self. We both ordered the steak from the lunchtime menu and asked for jacket potato instead of fries.....not a problem! As always it was very enjoyable and Hazel was very efficient as usual! I think it’s a very reasonable price for a lovely lunch and we will be back soon!

Booked initially for four people,by the end of the week it was eleven. Every time we called to add numbers there was no problem. Even added on the day of the booking. On arrival we went to the bar and bought drinks and were advised that our table was available. We waited for the rest of our party before being led to our table. There we met our waitress Lucy. We were left in peace to choose from the menu. On her return Lucy took everyone's order and offered drinks. When the food was ready I was stunned. Every meal was ready at the same time and Lucy served them in the order the orders had been placed. Mega impressed. Out of the eleven orders there were ten different meals chosen and there were no complaints. My medium rare rump steak was cooked to perfection and there were eleven empty plates at the end. Puddings were all served together in order again. All in all a brilliant night out. Good food. Good company and great service.Thanks Brecks and Lucy we will definitely return.

We visited the Beefeater as part of a family celebration. We all had starters, mains and pudding. The service and food was all excellent. We'll be back very soon.

Not been here for a few years, however will certainly be going back. Had a lovely meal, the lady serving us was very pleasant. Had a great evening.

Ate here as friends were staying in the near by premier inn so was easy commuting for them. The food was ok, although not the best as some arrived just warm and very spread out. Some had half eaten meals by the time we received our last meal. However the staff were very friendly, especially a gentleman that was behind the bar.

Went in for mother’s day for a group of 9, very lovely food and atmosphere. Jess, our waitress, was absolutely lovely and provided great service!

Ok so it’s not cordon bleu. However, my son and I stayed in the Premier Inn and ate here on Friday night and the food was very good, but the service was excellent. I’m usually wary of chains but this was perfect for our dinner. I thought the staff were great and looked after us really well. Only disappointment was that they didn’t have local hand pulled beers in the bar but that is my only criticism. Set us up for the Rotherham game the day after.

We booked for 18 family members to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in an area which gave us privacy with the tables arranged together. Advance choices meant once we were seated we were served very efficiently, important with several young children! The staff were lovely, patient and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their food and since several were staying in the hotel next door also enjoyed the beverages.

We popped in to our local Beefeater last night and was not disappointed. Quick & efficiencent & very friendly service from our waitress Jess. We both chose burgers and they were piping hot and really delicious...minted lamb was my favourite. Thank you Beefeater we will call again.

They run a rewards club which is very good and discounts can be excellent. The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was excellent. It was my wife's birthday and they did a great job for us. They open late too, which means you can get a good meal here after 21.00 hours which can be quite difficult.

Very friendly staff, clean, quick service, very good food I have a steak Sandwich very good value for money while my partner had mixed grill. Will be calling in again.

The full English breakfast is more than enough because you can just keep eating. Cooked to my liking. Reasonably priced.

visited after work for dinner on my daughters birthday, had the beer battered fish and chips, absolutely beautiful and a generous portion couldn't finish it all. The staff are absolutely brilliant they were so friendly and helpful, lovely relaxing evening. Well done Beaefeater Brecks.. Looking forward to our next visit.

We eat here once every few months and last visited o new years eve. This is one of not many restaurants in Rotherham where you get full table service and it is always very good service. There are obviously plenty of very good meat dishes, and for the vegetarians although there are nornally only 1 or 2 options, the menu does change quite frequently so there is something different to try and the current feta and sweet potato lasagne is very tasty. There's always a good range of puddings too. Beefeater reward points and special menus make the meals better value, but the prices are reasonable for what you get and the kids offers such as kids eat for £1 are very generous. The breakfast (including kids eat for free) is great value where you get the advantage of buffetvstyle continental, with a bit of everything you could want and a cooked breakfast to order, again with as much as you want of plenty of different elements.

The food and service were excellent, even though it was a large birthday group, and quite a busy evening everything was great.All the food arrived on time and no issues with any of the orders.There was a good selection and all reasonably priced, in all a good night.

Ordered the small steak with extra beef dripping sauce. There was no gristle on the steak it was perfect. My friend had steak too and his was also very nice. Will visit again Had desert of salted caramel profiteroles which were also fantastic.

Called for dinner and so pleased we did. Friendly very informative staff and every course fab. Nothing too much trouble for our waitress Kerry and the restaurant was really busy. Will definitely be back.

On entering the restaurant we had to wait for several minutes before someone came to show us to a table, even though the place was almost empty. Once seated, the meal started off very well with a particularly helpful waitress. She advised on the various steaks and my Argentinian rib eye was brilliant. She told us that her shift was about to finish, and unfortunately we only got served after that when we managed to catch a waitress's eye. There was just no continuity and was as if the waitresses that were now serving didn't know who they were supposed to be serving as they were all over the place. I was going to have the new trifle but I spotted someone else having it and there was quite a bit of fruit in the bottom (which wasn't mentioned on the description). I enquired and was told that it was berries. I am allergic to strawberries so the waitress went to check and came back to tell me that she didn't know whether they were in or not, so I had to choose another dessert. I went for the banoffee sundae and it was horrendous. It hadn't been anywhere near a banana but instead had a strange 'banana' flavour in the sponge. It was vile, and very sweet and sickly. My husband had the trifle and said that the custard was far too runny and watery. I personally think the desserts let the Beefeater chain down, as most are stodgy or mega sweet.

We visited on a Saturday night and ate off the evening set menu. The Argentinean rib eye steak was cooked to perfection and was so tender, the best steak we have had for a long time. The set meal was very good value.Kerry served and was very friendly and efficient.Only criticism is that they no longer sell Tetleys which I have always enjoyed and the other beers they sell are not comparable. Someone needs look into the beers they sell.

The South Yorkshire Luncheon Four land in Rotherham. We all had Sirloins, all cooked as we ordered, either with chips or jacket potatoes. We used a 241 voucher, which made them taste even better.

Went here with a party of 6 for a catch up and lunch most of us had starters mains and desserts and all three courses were enjoyed will return again when in the area

Haven’t been for a while but the food was great, the service was great and the atmosphere was great! Very pleased with our choice of venue for my son’s birthday family meal. Highly recommended

Had to give a poor review last month when Sunday lunch was a washout so wanted to redress things. Been for evening meal twice since and eaten from the teatime menu. Steaks and burgers that we had were excellent and overall both times, meals, drinks and service has been excellent and I would recommend Brecks to anyone.

excellent service. booked for my partners 40th with adults and kids. they brought the surprise cake through when asked and lit it. they decorated the table and walls with the decorations supplied. everyone's meal was perfect. can not fault this place and they made it a night to remember well done to the staff.

Quality not the best. Overpriced and small portions. Server was more interested in talking with regulars than being attentive. We wanted to add to order but by the time we had the servers attention we had almost finished eating.

Called for a meal today at short notice. No problems getting a table, although it was fairly busy. The food was excellent, as it had been on our previous visit a few weeks ago. They had been so busy they had run out of Sunday Lunch, but that wasn’t a problem to us. Service was really good and every one of the staff whom we encountered were polite and helpful and a credit to the business. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Had very good fillet steaks on voucher code deal ( 1/3 off food only ). Chips not quite as good but overall very satisfied with food. Drinks list is weighted towards pricey bottled beers but found one decent real ale on tap. Atmosphere very `conveyor belt` but hey, ho, you can`t have everything!

Visited with a disabled family member. The service from parking car to leaving the premises was first rate. Our waitress Lauren was attentive quick and advised us through the menu.The meals arrived in a very reasonable time and were all first rate and very ample in quantity. Well done to Chefs and kitchen team. Beer was a bit suspect but was changed and not charged for which added to the customer experience. Overall good food and service -well done

I agree with another reviewer, it's pub grub and not even homemade pub grub, just the usual chain, bought in food from the national suppliers like 3663, Bidfood, Brake brothers etc which they then deep fry, microwave etc. I don't mind that as long as its reasonably priced, it's the same type of food and quality at flaming grill but flaming grill (the Brentwood in Rotherham) is priced much lower, you know what you're gonna get, they don't pretend to be something they're not, prices are reasonable.... Everybody's happy. Beefeater charge the same price for mass produced, frozen food as an independent Italian Restaurant (Goodfellas) cooking fresh, good quality, homemade food in Rotherham. I won't be going back to The Beefeater at Brecks. We had a voucher but the price should have been £70 for 2 drinks and 3 courses for two people... Far too expensive for ready meals.

The service was good, the price reasonable and the ambience most acceptable. We will definitely visit again.

This restaurant is on our doorstep so we have visited many times over the years - not all good! This time was different. The menu has been updated - scallops are a very welcome innovation, and they were delicious. The steak was cooked exactly to my liking, not cremated as it used to be. The quantity was good and Leanne our waitress was extremely helpful. The only critic ism was that we were seated directly beneath the a/c unit which, although it was hot outside was too efficient in cooling our meals. Other than that and the 40% voucher it was good value for money and we shall probably make use of more vouchers before the promotion ends.

Always enjoy ourselves there. My husband had his usual 10oz rump steak and triple cooked chips. Cooked to perfection. Unfortunately I had smothered chicken which was not up to their usual standard. They immediately cooked a fresh meal, which didn't take long. The waitress Lauren M was so friendly and most helpful and apologetic. Thanks for a good evening.

Just had a very good lunch here. My wife had the scallops, new this summer, and an excellent rump steak. I had the prawn cocktail and half a roast chicken off the Sunday lunch menu which represents good value, particularly if you are lucky enough to have a 40 percent off main course voucher which Beefeater give out from time to time. The staff are always friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is clean and smart but the ladies toilet is often out of order which stops me giving it full marks. What a pity.

Went for food with my husband. Absolutely fantastic service and lovely food. Not expensive at all but still good quality. Would def recommend!

We haven't visited here for a long time because the standard of the food was very poor a couple of years ago so we decided to try again, big mistake. The staff are so polite and efficient and the service was good. But the food ! two sirloin steaks medium to well, with triple cooked chips! When the meals came the steak were dry and tasteless the chips were dry oven chips, half a tomato and one small dry mushroom, and one tiny piece of water cress, the meal looked sad and lost on a large plate, all I can say is tasteless, and this cost £32. We won't be going again for a long time. Ps we went to The Rusty Cutter ( beefeater) near Portsmouth on holiday, same company. Fantastic meal in every way and the same price?

As a seasoned business traveller, service engineer for over 30 years, I feel I'm able to judge what is the normal grade of food and serving..Just worked a 24 hour shift, and dropped into the restaurant at about 9.30pm.Promptly told all the waitresses that been given the night off, because of the England match,,, and was dumped in the bar... ordered crispy mushrooms as a starter, and the double cheese burger and bacon as the main course.Crispy mushrooms , were certainly crisp, crisp to the point of burnt, very little mushrooms in them, mostly coating... Poor effort.The cheese burger, didn't rate highly either, burger chip and coleslaw, just dumped on the plate, with no attempt to create a presentation.. very small portions of chips and coleslaw.... the burger surprisingly came in as edible..So word of warning, don't go an evening England are playing, as the waitresses dissapearand the food is very much sub standard...

We went to the restaurant having previous bad meals but we had received a voucher so thought we would try the restaurant again. Once again we were disappointed very small portion sizes and lacked taste some of the meals are over priced for what you actually get. That was our last visit we won’t be returning.

Called on a Sunday with no reservation and found the food and staff very good. Thank you for a really nice breakfast.

I would say we’re regular visitors to Brecks beefeater, Rotherham. And overall the service is pretty good, but on visiting 24th April there was only a few customers in so not busy by any means, to say the service was slow is an understatement and I felt like just getting up and leaving as got fed up waiting.When a table of about 7 ladies order their starter and mains at the same time as us and we still had to wait until they had eaten the starter and received their main meal before we got ours.When you call in for a quick bite to eat, you don’t want to be sitting there twiddling your thumbs waiting. I wouldn’t hesitate giving this restaurant 5 stars but today you only get 3.

The service was brilliant and staff were friendly from the lady who showed us to our table to Janet who was our waitress. we both enjoyed our meals even though we over ordered by having the tear and share garlic bread , starters and mains! lovely food and a nice night out.We will revisit when we want a quick night out.

Rang up at last minute was dealt with very politely on the phone, on arrival swiftly seated and given menus, have to say that the steak was one of the best I’ve had here and perfectly cooked medium rare. Waitress Lauren very attentive to our needs and asked us at every stage was everything ok and anything else we needed. Will be back soon

Out for tea, had 8oz sirloin, cooked medium. Always cooked perfectly, selection of sauces, I had rich beef gravy, husband had triple peppercorn. A bit pricey but worth it.

Colleagues and I visited for breakfast on recommendation. All you can eat! Good breakfast and friendly staff.

On a very busy Friday night they made space for 5 of us with an additional high chair (Anna and a managerial gentleman whose name escapes me).The waiting staff, specifically Lucy were perfectly attentive, without being overbearing and created a lovely dining experience for my family and I.The food was excellent and the Aberdeen Angus steak was the best I've had in this restaurant. Steph and her side kick Albert, made this so. What a lovely evening. Thanks x
