Limited very expensive menu, had the oxford blue burger £21.00. The blue I assume was what was supposed to be stilton, no taste at all. Only offered chunky chips, when the food arrived it was luke warm and was a burger !!! Sauces arrived and sachets of vinegar, service charge added, I like to choose what and if I pay a service charge. The waiter was attentive and friendly but the food was very disappointing did not return

We had 3 breakfasts and 3 dinners here whilst staying in the Hotel at the beginning of October 2023 The breakfasts were outstanding with an extensive selection of quality continental items. Hot breakfasts items were of very good quality too and appreciated the excellent coffee machines with multiple selection, Evening meals were excellent-we had 2 courses each evening and soft drinks. George, the restaurant manager was very friendly and provided a seamless service as did the other servers Also the main course meals were very tasty and particularly liked the Hanger steak and the circular raspberry cheesecake. Side green vegetables and chips so good too!. Highly recommend

Love this hotel and always book the apartment accommodation which is lovely. Brasserie lets the visit down most times, either forget our order, or took an hour to arrive. Room service was 2 hours, chips and a salad took an hour, nice when it gets there but such long waits

My friends and I visited the De Vere Cotswold Water Park for a spa break. We had the most fabulous time. Our dinner was lovely and John our waiter made our night exceptionally special. He made my friends and I feel very welcome and helped to celebrate one of our birthdays, he was a shining light and always had a smile on his face! He was amazing and deserves a big raise! Our spa treatments were also nice and we were quite relaxed after. Would not hesitate to return :)

Whilst staying at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park we chose the Brasserie restaurant Service was good and location excellent We ordered fish - which was overdone and chicken very dry Also had breakfast here which was excellent

We booked on line and were delighted to be sat with a lake view. The staff were all really lovely and friendly, the service well worth 10% added to the bill. We had fantastic food, sharing focaccia bread, then having the gnocchi and risotto both delicious and piping hot. Deserts were so good as well, raspberry cheesecake and tiramisu. The wine list was great as well with champagne by the glass which we had. Plus an excellent desert wine. Big thank you to George and John for 1st class service.

We tried the brasserie as staying at the hotel, but we're disappointed by the menu to start as it was the same as the lounge and bar one of the hotel except a few more meals added. And the prices were very expensive for what it is. I think if they added more dietary requirements and choices on the menu and lower the price they would get more satisfied customers and people would keep returning.

Awful afternoon tea with worrying attention to food safety standards and lack of knowledge about dietary requirements. Presented with a warm afternoon tea, dry sandwiches and cakes which were obviously not suitable for vegetarians. Unfortunately the Restaurant manager was confrontational and aggressive.

Not sure what the meat was but it was awful. Waiter said many people return it to kitchen...Perhaps an idea to review and replace?

Not the best! Lovely little area to dine but the food isn’t great. We ate dinner here one night the food came out within 5 mins was so quick, burger was nice but the chips weren’t nice, they were super oily and tasted like they’d been cooked once then reheated! The steak tasted of nothing which is a shame for the price. Cocktails were nice and the staff were so lovely couldn’t fault them! Just a shame about the food.

Went there for dinner and breakfast with which I was very satisfied .The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thumb up!

Under current circumstances the layout of the breakfast was well presented, and no long queue's for food, and tasted very good as well.

Another water park favourite. Breakfasts are always great, brunch even better. Have to book now and so this can be difficult to get in at weekends.

A family gathering at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park resulted in a large meal together at the Brasserie restaurant. Although we had to pre-book our menu choices, the restaurant got them all right and the services was smooth, timely and friendly. We all enjoyed the meal and in the morning, breakfast was also well organised and good Covid protocols were adhered to. Well done.

A brasserie is a restaurant in France or in a French style. The Devere Brasserie is neither. It appears to set itself low standards and consistently fails to achieve them. My burger was burned on one side just cooked on the other; it appeared partly edible, though appearances can be deceptive. Someone should repair the microwave, it clearly doesn’t heat evenly. The Caesar salad had something that purported to be Parmesan cheese that was tasteless, bitter at best. The chicken was cooked at some point, and served from the fridge. It certainly wasn’t freshly cooked, was cut into huge chunks instead of sliced thinly and was grey, good for walls, not chicken. The scampi was OK though. The Chardonnay certainly wasn’t a Chardonnay. It was white, though impossible to determine what grape it was made from. If you’re self catering and can cook, I suggest you stay home. If you can’t cook and would like a meal out, perhaps McDonald’s may be a better option. The burgers are certainly better there.

The food here is to die for. I have dined in a number of times and can't wait to go back again. Service has always been great and the value for money is good,

Me and my wife stayed at the hotel for one night which was a lovely stay including dinner and breakfast. However, we went for dinner and breakfast at the Brasserie restaurant and the manager was very very rude! My beer was tasteless and flat and...

Food was ok but not for that price. Eat at the Gateway cafe instead, MUCH nicer and only a couple of minutes walk away. This was just bland, a bit dry, generally dull. Worse than a spoons. Helpful staff though.

Lovely setting for a Birthday meal, the staff made the atmosphere very relaxed under current conditions, Greg in particular was incredibly attentive!

We were staying nearby and decided to have afternoon tea here. Was lovely presented and the food was delicious. Also a huge thank you to Lewis whose services was attentive and spot on! Definitely recommend and will come here again. The view of the lake...
