Lovely afternoon tea for Mother’s Day, very kind and friendly team. Beautiful views of the lake, also very accommodating of dietary requirements.

Can’t recommend any of the food and a very noisy restaurant. Staff are pleasant and attentive but that’s as good as it gets

They serve microwave food ! I had a beef sheen that was not really hot but the plate was burning hot ! Food tasteless with some weird flavours

The food was substandard I had a pizza which was dry and tasteless. The waiter was good but subservient he didn't have a voice on the quality and when I asked to see the manager they left it to the waiter to hear my complaint.. the only discount provided was the removal.of the service charge which was a choice I could have made myself. This team needs to acknowledge that the food is substandard and need to manage and resolve to survive.

Three adults plus a baby. Early dinner, service was friendly and efficient, team were very accommodating to the little one.

Very overpriced food for what it is. I’m staying here at the hotel for a few days but will now defo eat elsewhere after my first meal experience

Welcoming entrance, junior staff were willing. Apparently they had no bread or sparkling water which was disappointing. We ordered several mains, pork and steak were good quality but two of our party ordered the pea and leek risotto which was awful. It was made with spring onion rather than leek, peas were dull and overcooked and risotto itself was a tasteless mush. Whilst the waitress was polite and apologetic, the manager completely blanked us and made no attempt to reconcile our issue.

Nice atmosphere overlooking the lake and friendly staff, but not the quality you would expect from the price. Beef shin was too salty

Family of 5 came to The Brasserie for a celebratory meal. We found the restaurant online and it looked very classy. Many thanks to George for allowing us to book even though we were not staying at the hotel. The menu had lots of variety, pricey, but we were happy to pay a little more due to the festivities. Sadly, the food and service did not match the picture painted online. The picture of the place was different then where we actually ate. The location on Google is incorrect. The food was nice, however not worth the price. The wine was standard, over priced. Service was good, friendly staff, however we felt rushed, always being looked at by staff to see if we were finished and plates were cleared as soon as we were. Table setting was nice, sadly the picture of a classy restaurant was ruined when a plate of sauce sachets were placed on the table. A suggestion would be to ask if people want sauce and bring them in little dishes with spoons. Overall it was a nice evening, however we would not visit again.

Very expensive and bad food. Service took 2 hours and 30 minutes for my starter and main to arrive and when it finally arrived it was a very bad value meal. I would have expected to pay £9 and not £22 for this meal. The ambience is nice though.
