This is a very local pub situated in the boot end of Bagillt where there are a number of beers and spirits, and entertainment from time to time with a jam night once a month usually first Friday of the new month, which is great, run by Shane Williams a very good talented musician, a new years day is a must. Fantastic local talent get up and do there thing, the pub staff are very welcoming and warm, if your not a local then you soon will be. Try it soon.

First time in the Boot and Ship. Good pub. Staff were very friendly. Have a good room to hire out for parties. Good outside area and the bar area, room to hire and toilets were clean.

The Boot and Ship hosted my dad’s wake. Claire, Anne-Marie, Vicky and the team were very sympathetic and supportive and couldn’t do enough for us. They had an easel that we put up a memory board of photos on, string with pegs for more photos and a small jam jar with white roses on the tables - it looked really nice. The spread was amazing - we had so much food, everyone was full and we brought a lot home too. We will be eating it for days. Very good value for money and you can choose whatever cold food you like. They don’t have a kitchen so there’s no hot food, but there was a great selection.

Really lovely bar staff. Nice beer. Need to add a bit of atmosphere in the lounge even if only a couple of people in there. Could be really nice with some personal touches to make it homely and warm 😊

Called in as was driving past, great welcome from the locals and it was busy, that says a lot about a pub in this day and age. Staff were really friendly and happy....they must be paying them too much as that's a rarity!

The Boot & Ship, Bagillt, is now under new management and has been given a complete refit. It is warm and welcoming with friendly staff a wide range of beers and wines, also a good selection of flavoured gins. They have regular live music from either groups or individual singers. with both sky sports and BT sports your spoilt for choice on which match to watch. A great family pub.

Saddened by some of the reviews. We had a lovely meal although I would say maybe took too long and could’ve done with a bit more but it is home cooked. Served by a young lady called Mandy we think or wendy only overheard from another it was very busy and she was not just serving behind the bar but also being our waitress. But I will mention her and her colleague Sammy we’ve been served by Sammy before were both great it’s always nice seeing staff have a laugh with each other makes the experience more homely. We stayed for drinks after and it was a very busy evening and the girl we mentioned before who served us food was so busy but always served with a smile. So all in all top food and top service! Will visit again. Pat on back to Mandy/wendy and Sammy

This pub is really enjoyable with an easy-going atmosphere, great sport on a massive screen and good live music on a Friday night. The John smiths is lovely and a decent price. Just cant wait for it to re-open after the virus!

Popped into here for a quick bite to eat and drink after going around Mold doing some shopping. The location of the place is ideal as it's located right on the main crossroads of the town and within a very short walk to the other shops in Mold. I found the staff to be very friendly when I entered and they made me feel at ease. I bought a cup of tea and a slice of cake (Persian lemon cake) all for just over £5, which seems reasonable considering other coffee shops. The cake was superb and a decent size for a slice - no scrimping here! Also, it is a nice location to just enjoy a cup of tea whilst watching the world go by, especially if you manage to get one of the window seats. I did notice they had a good choice of drinks and cakes available on the menu, so there should be something for anyone who chooses to visit in the future. Highly recommended!
