Nice spot on the water and an independent business not a chain. Great coffee and the menu looked good but we had just eaten elsewhere. The owner was friendly. The barge could do with a spruce up but it was very clean. Next time we will have a meal there. Highly recommended and quirky.

Extremely overpriced. Value for money quite poor. Just cashing due to this cafe being on an old barge. Quite slow service also Would have been better off at Costa !

Great place to stop for a swift cup of tea or coffee right up to a decent fast menu. Nice place to watch the world go by on a sunny day.

Love quirky, independent cafes, Boat on the Dock is just that. Lovely welcome, great coffee and enticing display of sweet treats. Loved the fresh flowers on each table and the chill ability of the place.

Wandering through Gloucester Docks on a cold day, we were delighted to chance upon this lovely place. Great coffee, lovely staff and a fascinating menu. Do visit if you are in the vicinity!

I was invited to a 60th Birthday Afternoon Tea at the Monk's Kitchen. What a wonderful place! Being a really awkward dairy intolerant (mentioned before my visit) I was treated like an absolute Queen!

Chicken wrap was great but our chips were stone cold (I collected from the store) and the kids ‘chicken’ burger was disgusting. A soggy giant chicken nugget. Why it asked me what flavour we wanted the

Great service. We telephoned a long order in and were given a collection time. We arrived a little early to collect and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were keen to share top tips
