The Boat House Beach Bar in East Lindsey

Stumbled across this a while ago. Right on beach front . Looks bit dates outside inside its a very cosy little pub with lots of little rooms and plenty of outdoor sitting. There's a great range of beers and the food is very good carverys are great and good value for money. Staff are always friendly . 100% worth visiting

We visited this pub for a drink after a long day of walking...lovely view from conservatory...however very soon let down by lady who served me at the bar..rude is an understatement!! I went back to my seat literally gobsmacked as i told my husband about how rude she spoke to me!! She was very abrupt,rude,didnt thank me when i paid..even went on to serve someone else while i was still paying!! I work in customer service & believe me i would be for the sack if i spoke to anyone the way she spoke to me!! Customers opposite us asked for menu only to be told no...was only 5pm!! & no food being served,they was very disapointed...would we go back?? Absolutely not!!!

had dinner here and breakfast whilst on a butlins holiday. i found the service and food at butlins below a decent standard so looked for else where. so glad i came across this place i had a roast dinner which was amazing and was like having a christmas dinner the beef was delicious along with rest of dinner. pre teens had scampi which they enjoyed and so did hubby with his lasagne. when came to going to breakfast befor our 7 hours journey we knew where we all wanted to go and didn’t disappoint. What a team from the kitchen staff and waiter to the bar staff all friendly and so welcoming not forgetting the cleaners cause it’s so clean. The managers or owners should be proud of what they have achieved would highly recommend anyone visiting been a long time scince i’ve been somewhere so lovely and not cost through the nose

We always get a very warm welcome here and the fish and chips were delicious! The service is good and the atmosphere is brilliant . Can’t wait for our next visit.

We were staying at North Shore, Skegness, and visited the Boat House for lunch. Drinks were exceptional prices - only £3 a pint, so we opted for Caffreys, which was cold and creamy, a perfect pint. We each had the turkey roast dinner (think they were £7 each) and asked the waitress to check that the food was red hot. We were both really pleased with our meals which arrived piping hot - SLABS of succulent turkey, LARGE roast potatoes, REAL mashed spuds with Yorkshire Pudding, veg and gray. The waitress was lovely, friendly, and service was really good. If we're ever back in the area we'll definitely be calling in for a meal and a couple of pints!

Three of us for lunch, liver and bacon, pie, chips, and veg and gammon egg chips and veg. Absolutely delicious. Good fast service ,friendly servers . See you again soon , thank you .

So looked forward to going to visit this friendly pub but sadly it's shut for the foreseeable future. A real shame as it was such a lovely place and full of characters

Good location...cheap drinks compared to the 2 other pubs next door But I witnessed a small dog just sit there and go to toilet in the conservatory overlooking the beach...the table next to where they serve the carvery The female dog owner wasnt fazzed by this and kept saying "Accidents hapoen ey" Disgusting and poor ownership responsibilities and care A member of staff mopped it up with a mop...no bucket then got on his hands and knees to wipe it with paper towels Unhygienic and avoid at all cost

Was at Butlins Skegness last week and went for a walk along the sea front. Fell upon this pub on the front and went in for Sunday lunch would highly recommend all you could eat £7.95. Very tasty

Nice food, service slow due to 1 resin behind the bar Breakfast was ok I ordered eggs on toast, 1 toast was a little burnt Dogs are all over the place These shouldn’t really be allowed where people eat their food Like other people comment the toilets are nice and clean Food is reasonable with prices

Amazing food the staff are friendly its very clean and tidy toilets smell fresh staff had a welcome smile every time they spoke Highly recommended

After being in butlin for a few days we needed some decent food,carvery on Sunday was amazing and we went back the next day for it again.staff are helpful and amazing and customer service was 100%.

Went today 13th Feb, walked from butlins, 6 minute walk door to door.. 3 adult carvery , 1 child. very reasonably priced. all meats were moist and tender. only niggle is frozen carrots.. however for this price no complaints, just for people to be aware of. Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. guy behind carvery was also very helpful especially when serving kids... place was warm and welcoming especially on a very windy wet day, large selection of beers..and it was really great to find a pub that still serves Mild. lacing went all down the pint glass until empty..a sign of a decent pint. top job and thanks to all at the boathouse. when next in area will def come again.

Ordered breakfast for two. we got our drinks ok but as for food well we waited and waited and waited some more. our patience finally ran out after an hour and a half . Other people who ordered after us were getting their food. We asked why were we not getting our breakfast to be told " your next ".ok asked why other people have got their breakfast before us? Told "we've only got one chef". That still doesn't explain why other people got their food even though they ordered later than us. Still no explanation was coming also no offer of option of money back or maybe a complementary drink as way of apology. To top it the young girl who we were trying to get an explanation from had the cheek to accuse us if being rude because we were no longer willing to tolerate such awful service. What a dreadful way to treat customers who have been badly let down. If you can't deliver the service at least have the manners to explain what the problem is rather than just leaving customers waiting for an hour and a half until we finally get angry. But at least older lady did apologize and seemed rather embarrassed at how we were getting treated so thumbs up to her. but young girl really needs some customer service training she thought we were in the wrong which is baffling.

Had an 80s weekend at butlins with family, one of our party had found this place for us to have breakfast, we also sampled the lunch menu and carvery, good food and so reasonable, we were so happy we found this pub, great views also because its situated right on the beach The welcome we received there was wonderful, the staff so helpful, Alison was great, thanks Alison 😊 Enjoyed ourselves there so much we joined in with the karaoke, great fun Thanks Boat House for your food,drink and warm welcome ✔

We came here for a quiet drink with some friends on a weekend away, the bar lady is extremely rude and shouted at our group as we tried to move tables. It was extremely rude and unprofessional, she proceeded to shout at us because she had to wipe the table we moved from she shouted at us infront of 5 full tables.

We visited 29/9/21 for lunch and a few drinks. Glad we made the walk to this lovely pub very busy unlike the Anchor in Ingoldmells, we had fish and chips and several drinks which was spot on, good choice on menu and very reasonably priced as is the good selection of beers and lager. went there on saturday for a small carvery, excellent food, great staff and very friendly, even took two cobs for supper which were great, and great value.

I love this place, friendly staff and regulars, always made welcome, great atmosphere, monday club was great fun and the karaoke is the best, even dogs are welcome which is a bonus as I have a dog, it's great to be able to eat out with the pooch

Visit here when taking the dog a walk along the sea front because it is dog friendly and the staff and locals always make you feel welcome. A good choice of beers and food and well priced with discount card.Worth popping in.

Cenamos muchas veces siempre comida buena, recién preparado. Excelente relación calidad-precio. El domingo asados es excelente por el precio. Vale la pena.

Just got back from a great New Year weekend in Ingoldmells. Had a lovely New Year Eve in The Boathouse. It's a great place to go and we were made very welcome. Graham and Janet run a very nice friendly pub. They even closed the bar at 11.55 pm New Years Eve for approximately half a hour so their staff could see the New Year in. Sunday Lunch was perfect as was this mornings breakfast cooked by the lovely Wendy. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a lovely time in a lovely place with lovely people.

Having visited the boat house many times over the summer I have really come to love this bar, The staff and regulars are some of the most friendly people you could hope to meet. Having visited the bar many times over the summer we decided to visit for the new years weekend 2016 and had a great time on all 3 nights we spent in there.The food and Sunday carvery are also very good and excellent value for money.

Not been here for a couple of years went early November they have added another conservatory plus small bar and about 15 small tables to front of pub it look's lovely but as soon as you enter the stench of DOG hit's you like a ton of brick's i did go into the main bar the smell was even worse because being cold the heating was on so double the stench i did buy a drink thinking i would get used to the smell but the fact 2 DOG's sitting behind me one on a seat and 2 sitting about 5 feet away one rubbing it's back side along the carpet i really couldn't take anymore yes this is a very Dog friendly place the smell let's you know that will i visit again i don't think so they need to change there dog policy keep a room for the dog's not a room with carpet and seat's where dog's are free to sit on and the staff just allow this. I would never eat here Dog's are allowed in all areas of this pub

Still the cheapest carvery on the East coast, around the Skegness area, lovely meats that melt in your mouth....

Beautiful setting on the beach front however on entering was hit with a strong stench of something nasty? Had one drink and left. Judging by the evidence on the bar mans trousers he had wet & messed himself. Such a shame because it is a lovely place.

After visiting several other places only to find they were not doing food we tried the boat house. Lovely home cooked food and good beer the first of many visits

Went there on August Bank Holiday Sunday for the Carvery £5.90 each overlooking the Beach/Sea with a pint of Real Ale (they have 3 types on offer and all the standard keg beers, lagers & ciders). Carvery was great 3-4 meats all the veg and potatoes you could want (the cauliflower cheese actually had a cheese taste - which most carveries don't), then went again last Sunday (mid Sep). Same quality/standard will definitely be going again..

The traditional Sunday carvery was one of the best value for money carveries that i've ever had, choice of 4 meats, and at least 7 veggies

We have a carvery in here everytime we go on holiday, the food is always yum and huge, my partner would eat here everyday if he could

Very impressed good food, good service, had to wait St bar for a short while as busy , good but can be expensive. Okay would come again.

We were told to visit one Sunday whilst in Ingoldmels for a Sunday carvery, 2for £10, on a Sunday is a bargain. Plenty choice, will be returning

£5.90! 4 roast meats to choose from! tons of proper fresh veg, gravy & sauces! sweet puddings to follow. incredibly helpful staff. Sadly no real ale. great little conservatory with Sea view (or people watching..). Short walk from Butlins.
