Visited Great Malvern for the 1st time with friends. I chose this place due to it's good reviews and it didn't disappoint. Quick and friendly service. I had a lovely mushroom soup with bread, others had sultana scone with butter and jam, ploughmans , panini and a bacon omelette with jacket potato. Apple juice, various teas , americano and hot chocolate also consumed. Everyone loved it and I will definitely go back. Very reasonably priced too! Thanks and keep up the good work.

We have a lovely lunch here last week. Fresh home made soup and ploughman’s for our daughter. All delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were very hospitable too. We will defo be back

Highly recommend visiting if you are local or tourists in the area. Very reasonably priced. Food was excellent, Brie and bacon panini and ploughman’s. Friendly service and couldn’t fault the visit. Quaint and traditional tea rooms.

Popped into the tearoom around 11 am but wanted to have an early lunch. Absolutely no problem for the tea room who quickly bought us omelette and a ploughman’s. The omelette was great - a bit of everything at the servers suggestion. My ploughman’s was really nice, warm crusty bread and really good mixture of pickles, coleslaw, cheese, salad and chutney. In fact best ploughman’s I’ve had in a long time. Reasonable price too. Definitely recommend.

As a result of a recommendation, we visited the Blue Bird Tearooms for a quick hot drink and a cake each. There were four of us and with home made scone s and home made cakes, what's not to like? It's all delicious.

If you have any dietary requirements this is the place to go. Gluten free scones for my wife, huge scone for me. All Excellent and tasty.

What a quirky tearoom! I absolutely loved it. Staff were very welcoming and it was so quirky ringing the bell and waiting to be seated. Very traditional inside which I like. Felt like we had gone back in time away from the modern world. The dedicated vegan menu was amazing. A great selection of cakes, drinks, lunch and breakfast selections. It's very reasonably priced too. The vegan shortbread was delicious and a generous amount. My husband had the vegan chocolate tiffin and a very unusual tea and he loved it. We loved our visit here. When we move nearer to Malvern this will certainly become a regular place for our tea and cake stop! 😋

I had my breakfast here yesterday at 10-20 am, it was nice and quiet, Tea was brought straight to my table after ordering, then breakfast which was really nice followed after 10 mins, I'm going back again tomorrow which says it all. It's very old, very small, it has lots of stairs, some people will moan about those things, but i think it has a lovely tearoom atmosphere that is hard to find these days, a nice alternative to all these trendy cafes, if you want a mug of warm beverage with marshmallows on top, go to cafe nero and leave the rest of us to enjoy this little gem.

I have been coming to the Blur Bird Tearooms for over 55 years and still they do not disappoint! Love the quirky rooms with uneven floors and windows looking onto Church Street. All the food is delicious and the homemade scones, sweet and savoury, are simply the best anywhere. The soups are always tasty, the coffee is great and there is a huge range of teas and other drinks. Staff are very friendly and prices reasonable.Highly recommmended.

We visited The Blue Bird Tearooms on 21.02.2023 whilst passing through Great Malvern on our way home after a weekend break. This is a quirky place above the shops in the centre of the town that you enter through one door, up a flight of stairs where you are let in to the upstairs area, which is like walking in to your Grannies living room and then, when you leave you pay 'under the stairs' and leave by another exit into a passage way at the side of the premises, it's like a 'one way' system !! We just had a couple of toasted paninis and soft drinks which were all fine and reasonably priced but it just felt like a really odd kind of place and a little dated in the decor

Fantastic fresh scones. Between the 4 of us we had 4 different scones. They were all freshly baked & wonderful! The hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever tasted…& I’ve had a few as I don’t drink tea or coffee! Cozy atmosphere & great staff. Will definitely return & tell friends to.

Chose this tearoom as it looked quaint from the outside and so glad we did. No less than 5 different gluten free cakes plus scones. My husband is vegetarian and chose a savoury scone with red peppers and pesto which he said was delicious. I had coffee and walnut gf cake, the first time I’ve tasted this for over 10 years and it was very nice. They also offer lunches and full afternoon teas both of which looked amazing. Highly recommend this cafe, very friendly service and lovely old fashioned surroundings, just as a tea shop should be.

Llamamos aquí un sábado por la tarde al visitar la encantadora ciudad de Malvern. Siempre he tenido el té de la tarde espléndida, que comprende una media vuelta de sándwiches con un relleno, un fantástico bollo caliente (de nuevo, una selección de sabores) con crema de leche y mermelada (una vez más, hay una opción de sabor!). Excepcionalmente y a buen precio. En el lado negativo, la decoración está muy cansado y los aseos están en necesidad de una reforma. Probablemente sólo en Malvern una vez al año, pero a pesar de las cosas negativas siempre llamamos.

En un día con viento húmedo y nos dieron una cálida bienvenida y un excelente servicio. Uno de nuestro grupo fue con su perro guía que fue recibido con no nos molestó. La espléndida selección de té servido con bonita vajilla de porcelana fina, agua caliente extra pero tenía que ser solicitado. Excelentes pasteles - el chocolate y naranja pastel fue luz y muy sabrosa y el cálido pudding de pan una delicia. No hay un montón de espacio para las conversaciones son fácilmente lo oyó, que es hasta suficientes personas llegan a elevar los niveles generales de ruido. Mantener a mediados el acceso requiere subir unas empinadas escaleras, e incluso los más alto para llegar al baño, pero para aquellos que puedan enfrentar con escaleras los tes son bien vale la pena visitar. Buena relación calidad-precio.

Llegamos algo desaliñados después de un cuarto húmedo y con viento subir Worcestershire Beacon pero la tetería satisface a esto con cestas para los zapatos. La tetería tiene hermosas vistas de la estatua de Elgar y cenar rodeado de arte regional. El menú es amplia y a un precio muy razonable. A light lunch, the perfect place, situated in the upstairs rooms. The usual tea shop fayre, but of a gig standard. My Spinach Soup was superb. Lunch for two for a tenner. What can be bad.

We popped into this delightful tearoom for a late breakfast. It is a charming with tea served in matching pot and cup and saucer. The food was lovely and the service was warm and welcoming.

Afternoon tea with grandchildren went down well in this welcoming tea room that is long established in Great Malvern. Staff good with children, cakes and light lunches good. Small rooms, cottage style, up a flight of stairs. Walkers welcome, place for hiking boots at entrance.

Se llama aquí para el té de la tarde a 22 de septiembre, después de tener un paseo por Malvern. Subiendo un tramo de escaleras y luego te da una buena vista elevada de fuera. Probé una nueva bollo que creo que era Ginger y limón y les pedimos que cálido ligeramente(ya que a veces bollos en otros lugares puede ser un poco duro cuando hace frío). fue perfecto. Lo tenía con cherry conservar lo que estaba delicioso.una buena taza de té caliente para acompañar. Sin duda volveremos de nuevo cuando esté en la zona.

im a bit wary of places that I cant see... and this place is upstairs, and you cant see it. but my partner assured me it was good as she had been before. she was right !! the décor is a little tired, and the place is a bit dingy... but we had a very friendly welcome from the waiter. the cakes are on display by the entrance so you can see what they all look like. the menu is quite comprehensive, and it took a while to choose, as did ordering !! there are so many options !! what flavour jam, what bread for the sandwiches, whipped cream, clotted cream, what flavour scone - plain, sultana, cranberry... and so on !! and so many different teas

Brilliant breakfast. All very well cooked and piping hot. Makes lovely cakes to order. Nothing is too much trouble. Very friendly and accomodating.

Más como la habitación en la parte delantera. Hay un menú variado, que incluye artículos tales como sopa, baguettes, bollos, tortillas y incluso el desayuno. Una baguette es £5 y viene con una ensalada y patatas fritas. La mía era delicioso. También hay una gran variedad de tés y refrescos disponibles y el té de la tarde es £4,80 por medio una ronda de bocadillos, té y un bollo con mermelada y cuajada. Mucha gente, pero es un lugar muy agradable con un buen servicio y buena comida.

Después de buscar en Google para el mejor té de crema de Malvern, visitamos la tetería después de leer las críticas aquí sobre cómo bien los tés de color crema. Bien, ahora puedo responder por ellos, ya que son realmente delicioso. Todos los bollos son caseras, con una selección de cuatro. Elegí el limón y jengibre bollo y mi madre eligió el Koskenkorva y naranja, ambos excelentes. Los precios son muy buena relación calidad-precio y el servicio es bueno, aunque recomiendo pedir la factura si lo necesitas. Tendrá que subir escaleras para llegar a la cafetería y luego de nuevo a los aseos, pero como mi madre anciana lo testifican, vale la pena.

Fuimos allí para el almuerzo el sábado . Estaba lleno pero el servicio es muy bueno y la espera merece la pena. Tuve una salchicha @ huevos revueltos panini de huevo, era muy sabrosa. La comida y el servicio ha mejorado sin fin. Lástima el papel de la pared!

Lugar increíble mi compañero y yo ir una vez a la semana que no podría vivir sin el lugar. Los bollos son siempre las mejores y cálido y agradable a cómo me gustan. El té es muy agradable y caliente. En 2015, estoy decepcionado por no decir que en cualquier lugar que es una sala de té sigue cumpliendo las bolsitas de cualquier tipo. Los pasteles parecía muy agradable y eran claramente caseras. La habitación estaba mostrando algunas agujas agradable expuestos del Malvern College of Art (creo). Pero el mobiliario está cansado, siendo ni chinzy o moderno - simplemente vieja. Me pareció como si me estoy siendo un poco desagradable a un antiguo remunerado aquí, pero no hacer nada por nosotros, lo siento.

Nos son visitantes habituales de las habitaciones de té, cada visita es una absoluta delicia. selección de deliciosa comida , servido en un ambiente agradable y los alrededores son deliciosamente pintoresco. También pedimos Caroline y Barry (los propietarios) para satisfacer nuestra boda y la comida era de primera clase. Todo el mundo estaba impresionado por lo precioso que era todo. Tenemos muchos comida 'problemas' de nuestra familia, celiacos, productos lácteos intolerantes, huevo intolerantes, Nut alergia, comida vegetariana y todos estábamos muy bien atendidos con muchas opciones para todo el mundo. What a lovely tea room. Reasonably price considering the cakes are all home baked. We only had a scone (cheese & bacon)and a toasted tea cake but the cakes looked absolutely scrumptious. We will definitely be back.

Stopped off here for a last minute cup of tea and cake. Good selection of home-made cakes and tea. Would recommend.

Este café está en Great Malvern, en la cima de Church Street, no en Malvern Wells. Está en la primera planta se accede por un tramo de escaleras bastante empinadas, y los baños son otro medio vuelo, así que no es bueno para los visitantes con problemas de movilidad.

What a great find. These tea rooms are perfect for a snack or a light lunch. The afternoon tea is a must-have, as are the delicious scones. We will definitely return.
