The Bloomsbury in Camden

Absolutely loved our stay at the Bloomsbury. Fabulous rooms, fantastic service! We had complimentary breakfast every morning and Estelita and her staff were so kind. The downstairs jazz bar was fantastic as well. The drinks were unique and superb.

We had such an incredible experience. The drinks are wonderful and the environment is fun, calming, and charming. Vlada was a great server and we really enjoyed our conversation with her!!

We stayed for several days. The staff at breakfast were very attentive and professional. Maria Estelita and Gabriele Mohammed gave us personal attention. The Guest Experience Manager, Ricardo Esteves, was outstanding! He took care of all our requests and made us feel welcome and cared for. We recommend this hotel highly.

The Bloomsbury is such a cool place for cocktails. My wife and I stopped in for a drink in between activities, and the staff (particularly Vlada and John) took such great care of us. They made the last day of our honeymoon extra special. The drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

We stayed for 5 nights and found the staff to be outstanding with personal service. We ate dinner, spent time at the bar, and enjoyed morning breakfast, all delivered with excellent personal service and quality food! We loved the neighborhood, the boutique feeling of the hotel, and will definitely return when we are back in London! The breakfast service was most amazing!

This is a charming hotel with a superlative staff. From doorman to reception to dining room staff, everyone was friendly, accommodating and efficient. I want to especially mention Maria, who remembered our names after only one meeting. Andrea, David and Piotr were also attentive servers in the dining room.

Stayed at the Bloomsbury for a family get together and had a great time Every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Used the hotel amenities a lot , as the ambience is great - very peaceful considering you are in central London Attention to detail was also great - it was a belated birthday get together and the extra little touches were lovely

Wanted to have a nice meal with a friend at a nice restaurant but the food was pathetic and not worth the money we spent. Moreover, the staff members were unprofessional and rude. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Had the best time at this lovely hotel bar. The drinks menu is very creative and we loved our cocktails. Highly recommend the Warrior of Venus. Great for couples or a group of friends. Excellent service provided by Vlada - she went above and beyond to make recommendations. 10 out of 10!!!

Last week we had a fantastic time at this beautiful and posh hotel. Our family had a luxury studio suite combined with another deluxe room for the kids, with a connecting door to be used if needed. Great interior design with lovely colours and details such as a wide choice of magazines as well as books like the Vogue Jewellery Book. Huge bathroom with ultrasoft bathrobes. But even more important to mention was the excellent service offered by the staff. Maria and Estelita made our breakfast a great experience. They were not only friendly and attentive, but made us feel very welcome here. The food was extremely fresh and delicious, our teenage kids loved the breakfast as much as we did. In the evening we visited the bar„The coral room“. Great colours and elegant, warm atmosphere. The bartenders David and Leo were amazingly kind and professional, it was a pleasure watching them doing their work. I had a signature cocktail and my husband started with a beer, as he is not a huge fan of cocktails. As he was not sure whether to choose another beer or a cocktail, the bartenders discretely offered him to create a cocktail he would like. My husband chose Gin and got a very classy and elegant cocktail called „The last word“. When it comes to location, the hotel is easy to reach, located in Central London at Tottenham Court Road, we got there directly with the Elizabeth line from Heathrow Airport. Only a footwalk to Covent Garden and the British Museum and excellent bookshops. We will definitely come back!!

We stayed at The Bloomsbury over the bank holiday weekend and could not have chosen a better hotel. First was extremely easy and quick to get there from Paddington and a 5 min walk from the tube. The hotel is quiet, extremely clean and the upgrade to the Junior Suit was a lovely surprise. All throughout the hotel the staff is super friendly and Alessandra at Front Desk was extremely friendly at check-in/out. Highly recommended if you visit London, as is close to main attractions, easy access to transport and also good for walking around.

The Bloomsbury Hotel is the most beautiful hotel, the attention to detail is second to none and the staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly and SO incredibly helpful. Food is delicious, cocktails in the Coral Room an experience, I just love staying here! It's the perfect location for central London, only short walk to Covent Garden or the British Museum . Can't recommend it highly enough. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ordered eggs Benedict £12. Muffin frozen in middle. Processed ham (really? How difficult is it to order fresh ham. F&B manager needs to be fired or his budget increased.) Cold eggs. Beyond foul. Ordered freshly squeezed orange juice and was given pasteurised. When I commented it was taken away with the comment " you should have ordered something from the juicery then" Except they did not serve orange juice. Service better suited to the Soviet union No wonder we have such a bad reputation worldwide if this is the best they can do. Absolutely no care or attention to detail whatsoever. Not allowed to give it zero unfortunately.

I love the breakfast at The Bloomsbury! There is a wonderful buffet with a fabulous selection of fruits, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereals, and nuts. This year they added in heirloom tomatoes and roasted peppers - yum! In addition, there is a delightful selection of hot breakfasts that you can order from the menu. Maria and her staff - Estelita, Marina, Ionut, Victor, Dimitar, Luminita, Rosetta, and Simona - are attentive. They seat you right away and fill your coffee cup. The kitchen is quick too and is willing to handle special orders. I stay at the Bloomsbury every year and always look forward to the breakfast each morning and being greeted by Maria and her wonderful staff. It just keeps getting better and better! Thank you for a wonderful start to the day each morning!

I was really looking forward to trying out this hotel based on the photos and reviews. Booked 3 nights and have only stayed 1 night but am truly disappointed. The rooms are very small, which isn't unusual for London but if you want to eat in your room, it's tough. The space is so tight that every time I get off the elevator, someone has left their used room service dishes in the elevator reception area. Quite disgusting that the staff aren't removing hallway dishes at a faster rate. I stayed my first few nights at the Kimpton Fitzroy which offered special touches for guests (coffee at the reception, fruit etc) and was lovely. Here, there was nothing for guests, which is surprising given that the cafes around the hotel do not open until 10am on Sundays. There wasn't even water in the gym! The gym was a bit worn and had very old machines - one treadmill had a broken TV and the other treadmill had a working TV but the earphone jack was broken so you can't access the sound. The gym photos on the hotel website are very misleading as the gym is very small (but admittedly, this hotel is one of the few hotels in the area that even offers a gym). Other small indicative factors - 1. I ordered a salad and requested for some modifications but when it arrived, no such modifications were made. Won't bother next time! 2. On check in, there was no shower wash. 3. The mini fridge has a note that there are sensors and you may be charged if you move items. Not sure what will happen as I tried to put some farmers market cheese in the fridge?! 4. The hotel is extremely dim. The elevators have no light which makes one wonder re cleanliness. 5. The hotel rooms do not have safety locks on the doors. I had considered shortening my stay but decided against the inconvenience because the hotel is pretty and it's not horrible but this hotel is certainly not a 5 star hotel or worthy to be listed in Mr&Mrs Smith. Let's see how my final nights are .....will try to take some photos of the used dishes left in the reception.....

This gorgeous hotel has stunning rooms, an incredible lobby and is now home to the Dallow Terrace, a fabulous restaurant and bar. A truly great place to stay in London. A champagne in the lobby is simple delightful.
