Really busy venue with a lot of people. School nights are busy too.

What a great time we had. Very nice place.

We hired out the cocktail bar for a corporate group of 60. The space was amazing upstairs, food was brilliant and Fabio & Elisa made it all super easy! Last night's feedback "it was the best social we’ve ever hosted" - wahoo!

A small and cozy tavern in the suburbs of London with an amazing atmosphere that is found in any English pub. The service is excellent: the waiters are attentive and polite. The food is typical English cuisine, no frills, but filling. And, of course, beer!

I went to this pub for a get together arranged by a friend. I didn't eat anything so I can't comment on their menu or quality of food, however I did have a few ciders, and I must say the staff were very friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is that of a prohibition Era speakeasy with contemporary songs covered as jazz and brass band music. The atmosphere upstairs is cozy and warm and the atmosphere downstairs is lively and exciting. All put together makes for a lovely night out with the mates.

Went to the cocktail bar upstairs and highly recommend! Daniel looked after us and was creative in his cocktail - Spicy Pisco Sour - based on our taste. Definitely worth a visit!

What a beautiful pub/bar. You can hire it for private parties.

Daniel and Seugul were very attentive and made great cocktails. We came in for 1 drink and stayed for 5....we will be back for more!

The atmosphere is amazing as always. We come here often and the staff know what we like to order.

Typical English pub with an extensive menu of international drinks and beers

Prices have gone through the roof, it's crazy. I paid £30 for 2 average glasses of wine today, probably won't be returning here. Plenty of pubs in the area with fairer prices.

I never leave Google reviews but Maddie was the most amazing host and was so knowledgeable about the cocktails and mixes on offer. We popped in for one drink and loved it so much we stayed for a further two. Highly recommend the (spicy) margarita and the Grapevine! The dark cosy lighting and music was also a great vibe. I’ll be back very soon.

We hired the upstairs bar for a party on a Saturday night. Our family and friends loved the venue. Thanks to Maddie, Mylene and Daniel for looking after us. I would highly recommend the space for private hire events.

Although booked a table and was told they open till 11-12, they called last orders at 9.30 with firm close at 10 . Half the toilets were locked so unnecessary queues . No real ale .

Had an amazing Christmas party in here, we booked out the upstairs bar so had our own bar team, Mylene and Maddie were brilliant, we couldn’t ask for better more fun bar staff to help with our event!

We had our Christmas party here upstairs in the private bar. The staff, service and food was very good, definitely worth a visit. A special thanks to Maddie & Mylene who looked after us extremely well.

Here for work event. Used upstairs room, perfect size for us. 2 staff on duty for us did great job keeping up with orders. Food was selection of canapés.

Had many a wonderful drink in this gorgeous relaxing cocktail bar, the staff are friendly and very good at what they do! Delicious cocktails and drinks and just an all round fantastic place. We always visit here when in London!

A perfect venue for an intimate gathering of friends. We reserved the speakeasy space on a Saturday evening for roughly 40 guests and we had an outstanding experience. Very attentive staff, excellent cocktails, and a comfortable space. Highly recommend!

We needed a cocktail after a great dinner in the neighborhood and we were told to come here;; go upstairs and you will have a lovely moment with amazing cocktails (old fashioned!) and absolutely perfect service… certainly our waitress Maddie! A beautiful end of evening!

Mylène, Daniel, and Ellie looked after us on Saturday night (28/09) at the cocktail bar upstairs, and were the absolute definition of professionalism and service. Accomodating our requests for cocktails that were unheard of, being attentive and friendly, and delivering a much needed evening. My heartfelt thanks to you all, a credit to any establishment.

Nice pub, which despite only being a few meters from Oxford Street is usually not too crowded. Check it out when in the area. It makes a nice change from the packed tourist pubs, staff are very friendly.

If you want somewhere that has delicious drinks, and just a wonderful vibe this is your place. Ask for Myleine and she will make you feel like a superstar. We can’t wait to come back for her incredible service and knowledge.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable the cocktails are to die for and super creative. The room upstairs has a great jazzy speakeasy style playlist while downstairs is more like a pub. I definitely keep this place on my list for best cocktails and great service!

Great London Pub! Was served by Julie and she was fantastic. Had great yarns about London and Europe as it's my first time traveling here, she gave recommendations and advice which is always appreciated. Camden Hells was suggested and is a fine drop. Will definitely pop in again next time we are back.

Maddie and Daniel were amazing! Maddie makes great drinks at the speakeasy. Julie downstairs with Irish accent is like the aunt you never have. She will take care of you Also came the next day and met Mylene. She had a warm friendly vibe and beautiful smile! Her old fashiones and margaritas were amazing! Highly recommend!

Note: The bar downstairs is super loud and only serves beer and spirits, so we chose the cocktail bar upstairs for a more intimate setting.

Frequented this bar a few times now, mainly on Monday evenings and it ticks all the boxes for me . Good music , quality beers , friendly and efficient service, clean toilets , casual & relaxed atmosphere, not too dark .Without doubt , the closest decent bar to Tottenham Court Road Station.

My wife and I went here for a quick cocktail after watching sister act. Great little bar upstairs, Staff very knowledgeable on the cocktails and were able to guide my wife on what to have. Little more pricey than some bars, but worth it.

Had my 40th birthday at the Black Horse. Everything was excellent, from the original planning calls with Elisa - who was readily available and nothing was too much trouble - to the entire evening which included amazing cocktails, delicious food, the friendliest service and a great ambience. The ladies working the bar were terrific. Everyone raved about the drinks. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!!

Bumped into this pub and thought it was lovely. The staff are really friendly and attentive. They seemed to always know when we needed more drinks or cocktails. This was such a great treat we’ve been back and plan to in future nights out in the Westend. What a great find.

If you're on Oxford Street and looking for somewhere slightly off the beaten track to relax for a while before continuing shopping or going to a gig/clubbing then this is the place. Great atmosphere and if there's romance in the air then the upstairs bar is the place to be?

We visited 29.03.2024. This a lovely little cocktail bar, we had a small booth upstairs, myself and my husband, very intimate setting! We had a fab time the cocktails are fantastic!! Not too expensive either, I had the grapevine and OMG! The best cocktail I have ever had! The bar men really take pride in making the perfect cocktail 👌 fantastic staff x
