We needed a cocktail after a great dinner in the neighborhood and we were told to come here;; go upstairs and you will have a lovely moment with amazing cocktails (old fashioned!) and absolutely perfect service… certainly our waitress Maddie! A beautiful end of evening!

Mylène, Daniel, and Ellie looked after us on Saturday night (28/09) at the cocktail bar upstairs, and were the absolute definition of professionalism and service. Accomodating our requests for cocktails that were unheard of, being attentive and friendly, and delivering a much needed evening. My heartfelt thanks to you all, a credit to any establishment.

Nice pub, which despite only being a few meters from Oxford Street is usually not too crowded. Check it out when in the area. It makes a nice change from the packed tourist pubs, staff are very friendly.

If you want somewhere that has delicious drinks, and just a wonderful vibe this is your place. Ask for Myleine and she will make you feel like a superstar. We can’t wait to come back for her incredible service and knowledge.

The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable the cocktails are to die for and super creative. The room upstairs has a great jazzy speakeasy style playlist while downstairs is more like a pub. I definitely keep this place on my list for best cocktails and great service!

Go and try Banana Bread cocktail!!! Not your standard cocktail bar but exceptional service and great atmosphere. Not only for Thursday night date!

Great London Pub! Was served by Julie and she was fantastic. Had great yarns about London and Europe as it's my first time traveling here, she gave recommendations and advice which is always appreciated. Camden Hells was suggested and is a fine drop. Will definitely pop in again next time we are back.

Maddie and Daniel were amazing! Maddie makes great drinks at the speakeasy. Julie downstairs with Irish accent is like the aunt you never have. She will take care of you Also came the next day and met Mylene. She had a warm friendly vibe and beautiful smile! Her old fashiones and margaritas were amazing! Highly recommend!

Ordered aperol spritz and it was so bad. Colour was off it was not orange at all just pure 25 mil aperol and it was awful

Reserved a table for the cocktail bar upstairs for a group of four. The service was excellent, and the cocktails were fantastic! Thank you to the team. Highly recommend this bar! Note: The bar downstairs is super loud and only serves beer and spirits, so we chose the cocktail bar upstairs for a more intimate setting.

Frequented this bar a few times now, mainly on Monday evenings and it ticks all the boxes for me . Good music , quality beers , friendly and efficient service, clean toilets , casual & relaxed atmosphere, not too dark .Without doubt , the closest decent bar to Tottenham Court Road Station.

My wife and I went here for a quick cocktail after watching sister act. Great little bar upstairs, Staff very knowledgeable on the cocktails and were able to guide my wife on what to have. Little more pricey than some bars, but worth it.

Bartender are so attentive, remembering us every time we pop in and our favourite drinks. Their attention to detail is second to none. Special shout out to Maddie, Fabio and Mylene who also make our evenings very special!

Such an amazing hidden cocktail bar upstairs. Great atmosphere and the staff were so friendly and accommodating! Hermoso bar de cócteles seductor situado arriba de un pub. Excelente decoración y servicio. Helene era nuestro camarero y sus bebidas eran increíbles. Los cócteles fueron hechos a mano. ¡No hay mezclas aquí! Solo bebidas hermosas y deliciosas.

Had my 40th birthday at the Black Horse. Everything was excellent, from the original planning calls with Elisa - who was readily available and nothing was too much trouble - to the entire evening which included amazing cocktails, delicious food, the friendliest service and a great ambience. The ladies working the bar were terrific. Everyone raved about the drinks. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you!!

Bumped into this pub and thought it was lovely. The staff are really friendly and attentive. They seemed to always know when we needed more drinks or cocktails. This was such a great treat we’ve been back and plan to in future nights out in the Westend. What a great find.

If you're on Oxford Street and looking for somewhere slightly off the beaten track to relax for a while before continuing shopping or going to a gig/clubbing then this is the place. Great atmosphere and if there's romance in the air then the upstairs bar is the place to be?

We visited 29.03.2024. This a lovely little cocktail bar, we had a small booth upstairs, myself and my husband, very intimate setting! We had a fab time the cocktails are fantastic!! Not too expensive either, I had the grapevine and OMG! The best cocktail I have ever had! The bar men really take pride in making the perfect cocktail 👌 fantastic staff x

Stop for a beer before lunch. Very nice and clean place with excellent choice of beer. Clean and well-equipped bathroom.

Rude bartender. Could have answered a simple question but chose to be sarcastic instead. Not like there’s other bars around.

Great pub. I liked the space and their service. The place was packed when I visited it on Saturday. It was difficult to find a vacant seat for a long time. As soon as someone walked out, someone else took the empty seats.

Love this old-fashioned little pub. Right opposite Tottenham Court Road Station. Popped in for a drink on a Friday afternoon, before a show. (Been in before) Needed food but unfortunately not being served, so moved on elsewhere.

Good vibes and quick service - also nice Christmas decorations! The place itself is not too big, but there's a lot of seating and conveniently located for the Central and Elizabeth lines. They have a good variety of cocktails and some wine options, however the house Pinot grigio rose I went for was rather acidic.

A proper pub in the centre of London, excellent service and relaxed atmosphere with a very friendly vibe.

On the day of storm Bebet we were welcomed by an open fire - unfortunately the barmaid wasn’t so welcoming - a rushed meal with small portions being reminded that the table was required while tables laid empty.

We loved the bar upstairs. The service, cocktails, and the overall experience were espectacular. I’d be happy to return!

This is less of an old fashioned boozer and more of a wine and cocktail bar. They’ve done an nice job of the refit. Good place to meet as it’s just off Oxford Street.
