Fantastic beer garden that comes with table service from the bar manager! Fantastic service, only complaint is drinks were handed by hand rather than on a tray. Other than that would recommend to anyone!

Traditional proper pub on main street into town. Basic, mostly locals and tradesmen but friendly. Nice beer garden out back.

Shocking reception. My partner has spinal issues and they accused her of being drunk. I would say prejudiced at best from a black male and white male. I would never ever enter this establishment again. Shocking. Avoid. At all costs.

The most bested pint ever. I know cos spent half my life being under influence of beer worldwide....the other half of my life unfortunately was wasted

Good, Clean and Friendly Hostelry. Staff are great and welcoming, Jake and Lorna have really turned this place around. Absolutely Splendid you Beauties. If you do go in and Eden is working, ask her to show you the Startled Moose :) This is only a drinking pub and they do not serve food.
