Saturday 23rd December 2023 This pub was visited on saturday night This pub is a proper locals pub it is also a genuine English boozer that serves 3 fantastic, well-kept, real ales I wish all pubs would have the atmosphere in this pub which was in it tonight. Great real ales in a great English pub Well done all involved

This is a great pub. Really friendly and we felt at home the very first time we visited. Second time we went and we were remembered and greeted like friends.

Don't go out in retford that much but when we do we have to visit this pub plenty choice lovely landlord

It's just what we want from a just off town centre pub....great prices...great service...excellent staff...no frills traditional bar with good selection of ales n spirits. Quiz nights...Saturday hosts a great sports day...nothing too much for the landlord n landlady. Dog friendly by the way!

I'm a regular here now. A couple of small screen TV if you want. Hand Pulled ales et al. Two tap rooms. Drink leaning on the bar and chat to the locals or sit down in a quiet corner. No food other than crisps and scratchings.

Lovely home ales and selection of beers, one of the best landlord/landlady around (Mark and Louis) great friendly bar staff... Been made my local because it's the best pub in olde Retford town : )
