Very friendly staff. Great quality food at a decent price. Best Halloumi wrap I’ve ever tasted. Lots of seating outside.

Smoky beans with black olive tapenade and feta cheese (usually served on sourdough, but they very kindly replaced that with a lovely wrap because I don't like sourdough) This dish is SO tasty, every different flavour complimenting the others, really loved it and couldn't recommend it more! Staff as always lovely Folkington canned drinks good too!

Staying nearby we thought we’d give the cafe a try for Saturday morning breakfasts. All four of us had the full English ( sausages extra ! ) breakfast which was very good but best of all was the service from the really helpful, young servers. Recommended.

It says open until 3 online, but if you ask for food at 2:30 they seem annoyed, as say they're getting ready to close to pick up their children from school. I think they should change what they say are their opening hours.

You MUST stop here for the friendly welcome, delicious food and drinks - chat to lovely locals or just soak up the unique Box atmosphere - a rare gem of a place

Unfriendly owner and over priced for the tiny portion of food we were presented with. Will not be returning. Plus the inside eating area was freezing.

I live right in the centre of Bath and with over 600 cafes ,bars , pubs etc there is only a handful of good ones..but I drive out here whenever we hike with the dogs ...Brill place, food and service

My mum and I popped in yesterday as a last minute thing and we're super glad we did. The food and coffees were very yummy! Thank you to the young lady who served us as she was lovely and the chef. Thank you and we definitely recommend and will be back. 🙏🌷😋

What a little find!! Four of us all met up here this morning for a catch up. Coffees and teas were lovely. And how great to have my tea served in a teapot that doesn't leak all over the saucer / table!! Staff were very happy snd friendly. We had three pieces of cake and one croissant. No one was disappointed and my Victoria Sponge slice was massive, delicious and very quickly demolished. Thr smell of breakfast was very enticing but, due to other commitments, we had to leave. But we will be back to sample some breakfasts. Thoroughly recommended.

We had a couple of breakfasts and tea/coffee this morning and left very pleased. The food was well cooked and the ingredients were clearly high quality. The service was very friendly and easy going, which made for a delightful visit. The homemade cakes looked amazing and we couldn't resist buying a couple of slices to take home with us. We'll definitely be back to try out more of the lovely food they have on offer. If you're in the area you have to visit!

Visited this lovely cafe after a long dog walk with friends, arrived with a great reception and were spoiled with a good range of sandwiches and coffee. Sat out in the garden in a warm December. Lovely. Highly recommended, even if you just pop in for a takeaway Pain au Chocolate and coffee.

Was staying nearby at The Cider Press and saw this quirky little gem. Came for breakfast and so pleased we did. Staff were so friendly and gave us a warm welcome and made a fuss of our puppy...hard not to really as she is so cute 😍 and looked adorable in her Christmas jumper. Fabulous selection and spoilt for choice on food and drinks. Hubby chose a bacon and egg ciabatta and a flat white which he said was smooth and good coffee. Being gluten free they do not have gluten free bread but I had the full English without bread. It was one of the best brekkies I have had....mushrooms, crispy bacon, tomatoes, beans (in a little pot) and two free range fried eggs. It was delicious, perfectly cooked and tasty ingredients. All washed down with a pot of green tea. We took away a generous slab of chocolate brownie....omds it was divine... and hubby had a choc au pain. If we are ever back that way we would not hesitate to pay another visit, thankyou Bird Cage. 😊

This little cafe in Box is a gem: I often go in for a coffee but it's hard to resist the selection of hot and cold food on offer.

Found this place from Trip Adviser. Delicious food, especially recommend the carrot cake. Seating inside and out. Only car parking for take away but I got parked just a short walk away. Very friendly. Would definitely return 😊

Absolutely delicious food time and time again. Today myself and a friend had a Halloumi and avocado wrap, first time for this combination and I can honestly say it was the best wrap I have ever had . Also love the frozen meals they prepare...

The best cake and coffee for miles around. Blink and you miss it and that’s a shame because this is a little gem! This is the type of place where you want to eat everything on offer. Quirky interior and delightful owners.

Fancy little annexe of a house with a converted shed provided with a host that clearly loves their food. Simple menu which whilst not the cheapest I’ve had was certainly worth the money.

Have been meaning to call in for sometime now, but so glad finally did. Lovely clean, fresh flavours. Moorish salads. Only had a main, but will go back again without a doubt and try some other delights.

The food was great (bacon roll & scrambled egg on toast) staff were friendly, the rooms were very stylish and not tacky like I was expecting from a small tucked away cafe. Would definitely recommend.

The ladies made a delicious lemon and blueberry cake very last minute for my Mother's 70th birthday. They were so accomodating and friendly, I will certainly be paying the cafe another visit just to try out a few more yummy cakes - 10/10!

Had lovely cheese on toast and coleslaw , really tasty ..The salads looked fantastic !! Dog friendly as well ..a must if you are in Box , next to the Post Office .

The brunch on Saturday is wonderful with loads of healthy options. The cakes are all homemade and amazing. I always visit when in the area.

Friendly, great food. We try to make sure we find time for a visit every week after our dog walk. Usually stop for morning coffee but have had a lunch there, the mixed Salads are wonderful.

I love this place, the staff are friendly, atmosphere relaxed and it’s great whether popping in for elevenses or something more substantial. As a vegetarian it’s lovely to be offered lots of choice and sometimes hard to decide whether to go for my favourite sourdough felafel and halloumi wrap or one of the tasty specials and the food manages to feel like a treat and healthy at the same time with a lovely range of fresh salads. They also do take out boxes if you don’t have time to stop in and portioned meals for your freezer to take home too!

Sweet little cafe worth stopping for. The food is healthy, wholesome and absolutely delicious. The Birdhouse has a very special atmosphere, it feels like you have been invited into someone’s own kitchen. I had a delicious pea and mint soup with a savoury flapjack.

I love the bird cafe...the food is Devine. The last time I went I had a halloumi wrap which was delicious. In a freshly baked wrap too. Yum..I'm still dreaming of it! I also asked them to bake a gluten free cake for me recently for an event I had on and it was just as good. The service is super friendly and the atmosphere perfect for a relaxed lunch.
