Had a fantastic work place Christmas meal last evening (6th December) Staff friendly, down to earth and lovely. Service fabulous. Food delicious and a very friendly Anthony with his special sense of humour. A lovely evening had by all would definitely recommend.

Good location, great service., nice owners.

We go for a carvery every time we go to the Isle of Wight on holiday. Definitely the best carvery we’ve ever had. Consistently to an excellent standard. Tender meat, huge selection of vegetables cooked al dente. Kept hot but not dried out even at the end of the day.

I was there Yesterday with 3 other friends. We all felt it was the best meal we had for a long time. Loads of choice including pheasant but some more standard with a twist of additions. The rooms were lovely and well decorated for Xmas. We all had a great laugh - sorry if we disturbed any one but we will be back again. The rooms look lovely.

Really lovely hotel to stay at. Staff very friendly and welcoming and nothing too much trouble for them. Anthony was extremely helpful and food being served was of excellent quality. Could not fault anything . Kathryn would always leave our room sparkling and very helpful too. Would definitely go back. We had a large room and bed and pillows very comfortable 😌

The staff really went the extra mile to make my mother in laws party a success.

Went for a carvery. Only difference between small and large plate was 1 extra (thin) slice of meat. For £5 more. Salt pot not attached properly so 1 of our group ended up with a pile of salt on their food. Waitresses unhelpful to solve it. Service at the bar was rude throughout. Absolutely would not go again

Ii had a carvery. When I put salt on my dinner the lid fell off and the roast potatoes and the gamon and beef. I told the waitress. She relaced the roast potatoes and neat. The replacement potatoes squirred with grease and oil when you cut into them and the beef was so over cooked I could not eat it at all. All in all a complete disappointment.

Worst carvery I’ve ever had, genuinely shocking. Table of 8 and I don’t think they could have done worse if they tried…

Visited here twice. Lovely friendly atmosphere. Really helpful and pleasant staff. Could make our mind up for a starter so we had 6 and made it a tapas 😜. Boy it was amazing. The we returned the next day and had Sunday lunch carvery. Again could not fault anything. Thanks guys.

Lovely time catching up with friends, long walks, paddle boarding and swimming in the sea. Great location and very friendly staff, excellent breakfasts.

My husband & I turned up at 8:10pm not realising the kitchen closed at 8. The lovely waitress seated us, checked with the kitchen and happily took our order. The food was absolutely delicious, well priced, lovely atmosphere and beautiful building & decor. Thank you very much ♥️

Booked a 3 night stay to celebrate my 60th birthday , staff was so helpful & friendly through out our stay, our room was very clean & bed was very comfy & room was as described when booking , We dined at the restaurant & food was lovely Breakfast was amazing so much choice . Highly recommend , & will defo be booking another stay

Rookley WI had our August annual treat and this year we chose The Birdham for a cream tea. Around 25 of us booked and what a lovely afternoon we had. We were made very welcome by Zoe and the staff. Would we go again definitely. A lovely place to go.

Popped in for a Sunday carvery and it was very nice best roast potatoes I've ever had , bit shy with the meat seeing as we was last ones in before it closed for the night but would definitely go again

Was not happy with sound noise from bathroom it spoiled or two days was planning to book another two nights but changed my mind and went somewhere else such a shame they disided to fix it when leaving which was to late told the barman the first night but he said it was dishwasher which it was not paid a lot for them two days 197 as far as I can remember would be nice to get something back but I will wait and see every thing else perfect breakfast was beautiful just a shame about the noice

Excellent Sunday carvery, friendly and helpful chef and waiting staff were lovely, too. Our second visit and we would highly recommend - we WILL be back!!!!!!!!!

Visited on a Sunday for a meal after our staycation to save cooking once back home. My partner and I had the carvery which was exceptional. We had the regular which came with 4 choices of meat, I opted for a bit of each. The beef and turkey were amazing, pork a little dry and the gammon was alright. Lots of choices for the vegetables including minted Brussel sprouts which I will now include for my Christmas dinners!! Childrens meals were quite large ( a lot better than most places) The desserts were devine. My partner said the gluten free carrot cake is the best gluten free dessert she's had anywhere. Pet friendly, we were allowed to have our well behaved dog in with us. The head waiter was very child friendly and knew his stuff and the waitresses were all very friendly. Only the second time we've been here but will definitely return. Only downside is carpark is quite small, pre booking is advised but we did see a couple of walk ins who were promptly seated. Big thumbs up 😁😁

Thank you so much we had a lovely carvery on Sunday. Their was 20 of us to feed, you put us all on one big table and the service was outstanding. All the staff were happy which is a credit to you, it must be a great place to work.

We have stayed in many places on the Island however The Birdham at Bembridge is the most exquisite. The rooms were very spacious and extremely clean, service was excellent with every expectation met. The food was both delicious and on point . we can highly recommend the iron pressed steak which was cooked to perfection 🥰. I had the vegetarian options of both breakfast and dinners and I can say it did not disappoint. We are definitely coming back.

We thought we would give it a try , food was very disappointing had the venison lasagne could have been beef for all I know more pasta and sauce than meat came up Luke warm , I'm afraid I will not be going back
