The balish is a very nice looking restaurant however food not so good, tasted very off, lack of flavorz, drinos hwowever is the good one.

Visited recently, again, on a Saturday lunchtime and food was delicious, service very good, and we had an amazing meal. Thank you all, for a lovely lunch 😋

Lovely staff and very obliging, but… the main dish Chicken Biriani was poor, little chicken if any! Replaced by Carrots? Just poor, the sauce thin and watery, so 4/10 The keema Nan was superb and they gave me a free dessert and a brandy to numb the pain. I would go again but it needs improvement on the food.

Great service, ample choice on menu, food was lovely with lots of taste. Given a complimentary drink and ice cream at the end which was a lovely touch.

Had enough .... can you stop making your meals better and better, we are now struggling what to order as we each have 7 favourite dishes lol. Being serious, not had a bad meal yes....hads off Sam and team.

Absolutely delicious food, tried the chicken Korma and the bhuna tonight and everything was piping hot and very tasty. The staff was helpful and friendly, would recommend!

This was our first visit to Bilash in Rugeley, recommended to us by some family friends since we moved to a nearby village. The waiters were so attentive. The service was fantastic and the food was exceptional! Would definitely be visiting there again soon. Thank you everyone there.

Really tasty food. Great value with the deal. Lots of food, starter and as delicious! Had to wait an hour and 20 minutes for deleivery but this is understandable on a busy Friday night. Speaks volumes about the popularity. Enjoyed the meal!!

Family run restaurant, superb food freshly cooked every time we have visited. Staff are always polite and helpful, can't recommend this place enough we always take family and friends and always have a great evening

Food was ok but I've had much better - best described as bland. Service was very slow - 45 minute wait? Price was ok but I'd expect better if I'm honest.

We had booked a table for a family celebratory meal last Saturday evening. Unfortunately one of our party had been involved in a serious RTA on her way to Rugeley. We had to change the booking to a takeaway instead at very short notice. It was a very busy Saturday evening at the Bilash and in spite of it being a large order it arrived in good time and they also explained that we might have to wait when we ordered. When the food arrived the order was complete and it was delicious too. They had also gone above and beyond and even thrown in some extras because it took a little longer than they had told us. Very friendly polite staff well labelled delivery and lovely food. We will definitely be booking a meal in the restaurant in the near future.

Our food was BY FAR THE WORST Indian meal we’ve EVER had. It was flavourless and had an odd chemical aftertaste. It definitely isn’t the same food quality as the ‘old’ Bilash used to be. ABSOLUTELY VILE. Save your money and buy a freezer meal!

It was the first visit and we were underwhelmed with the food and service. The food lacked any taste and the portions were small. The order came out with an item missing and they said it wasn't on the order even though it was read back to us by the waiter. We won't be going back.

Dog food, dont know how to make curry, awfully, waste of money and taste like water, disgusting' shame on you

This was our first time since the re launch of the restaurant. Thr staff were vert attentive and professional. The food was excellent and service very good. I would recommend eating here if you get the chance.

Ordered food via just eat at 19:15, delivery estimate 20:25 to 20:45, had to call the Bilash at 21:00 as no delivery and told that our food was being cooked next, tried ringing from 21:25 multiple calls not answered, delivery driver arrived 21:40 and this was too late for our family as we had elderly family members who don’t want to be eating at 22:00, we refused delivery, very poor service and not answering calls, won’t be using this place again and now got the hassle of getting a refund, **** poor in all aspects.

Fantastic welcome and great food, all fresh with great service, local family restaurant with a great hospitality. This place is definitely worth a visit if you like India cuisine with a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing is too much and happy to adjust the menus accordingly. 10/10 for me

No taste what so ever! The bilash used to be really nice not sure what’s happened! What a waste of 25 quid! Beth watery rice. About 15 chips in the bag and the masala sauce was awful.

I ordered a takeaway and everything tasted fresh with a good balance of spices. They gave very generous portions and were helpful when I asked about allergens.

Absolutely the worst service that I have ever had in my near 64 years on this earth! I phoned our order in at 6:55 p.m. and was advised that the order would be ready for collection in 45 minutes and upon arriving and making it...

The food served was not authentic Indian food, very tomato flavour, curry more like a stew, very expensive and poor value, if you want a genuine Indian Meal, find somewhere else, sorry.

The Food was absolutely lovely, both flavoursome and authentic. We had a mixed kebab starter, Popadoms and the staff Curry 🍛 This comes with Rice and Naan bread. Plenty of food and cooked to perfection.. I visited a while ago and thought it was ok....
