Food was really bland. Not a lot of flavour for a balti. Even the mint sauce which you think you couldn't get wrong, tasted really weird and not very like the usual ones I have.Tried this place for the first time and don't rate it unfortunately.

The food at the Taj Mahal is always good. This time I ordered a mild bhoona and they accommodated. This was also thoroughly enjoyed by the person it was ordered for. Never had a bad meal. Excellent service and food.

Food arrived very quickly in fact too quickly chicken wasn’t cooked 100% and chewy so couldn’t eat - shame but when it turns up within 25 minutes of ordering it does raise a few concerns

10/10 every time. Have always had food from Taj Mahal, always been lovely. Ordered again through Just Eat last night, food came half hour earlier than expected, driver was very courteous, food was amazing.

Ordered for the first time from here and I elected to have the Chicken Vindaloo, Garlic Rice, Garlic Naan and two cans of Pepsi. For the Pepsi and the naan I can say they were nice, the drinks were cool enough despite coming across 3-4 miles, the Naan was still warm in the bag and tasted nice and soft too. As to the main parts of the meal, the Garlic Rice itself was fragrant, you could tell it had been stirred and infused with the rice and oil quite well, as for the Vindaloo itself at first taste I detected a strong Tomato base for the sauce, so much that at first I thought it was Tomato Soup but with a strong array of spices, it was hot indeed but unlike other Vindaloo's I have tasted this one retained a bit of flavour rather than just blind heat. (Traditionally Vindaloo is a Portuguese/Indian dish from Goa and is meant to be hot and sour in taste) There have been some reviews saying the food was oily. I can confirm this happened to mine but looking at the liquid residue I would say it's water rather than Oil or Ghee, this is easily sorted, assuming they are using the traditional method (if not then disregard this) of infusing spices in the Oil or Ghee and gradually adding water/evaporating water in the Karahi/Wok, the chef can simply add less water during cooking or let it cook a bit longer to evaporate the water more and achieve a more thicker Jhol/Sauce. Other than that I was pleased with it and it was rather nice, it came in the earlier part of the estimated time and for a Friday night too! Delivery driver followed the instructions to get to me perfectly and was friendly. Overall a good meal for me.

Order from here regularly, tonight was disappointing. Onion bhajis were cold and rubbery so couldn't eat them, bhuna sauce had spilt on delivery so didn't have much sauce. And chef special seemed very greasy. Put it down to maybe it's a different chef tonight.

Very incompetent delivery driver. Rang 15 minutes after the delivery time as he was lost. He was in a totally different postcode area and expected us to direct him to our address, which we tried to do, but he still went in the wrong direction. Food arrived after 1 hrs 10 minutes and was cold. Not impressed

Food was great and all items received only point I would mention was how quick it got delivered we must have beat the rush as it turned up super quick only just put my phone down 😂🤙🏻😂 - would highly recommend

Perfect. I hadn’t lived until I tried this food. Perfect no spice or seasoning. Lots of sauce to go on my rice. The sugar in the mint yogurt was delicious. Complimentary meat samosas I hadn’t even ordered. Will be ordering again thank you.
