The Big Sandwich in Blackburn with Darwen

Since the old mother redcap changed hands to Stonehouse inns I can honestly say the experience and the food have been nothing else but absolutely amazing. We had carvery all you can eat I had all three meats gammon, turkey and beef and they were all cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth all the veg was delicious and so was the gravy. This was my second visit and it didn't disappoint from the first visit. 4 happy family members and we will be back no doubt. A shout out to the fabulous staff members for looking after us.

Food was good but sadly lacking... five chips and a baguette only half filled was disappointing. Food was barely warm. Laura served us and her attitude was awful and nasty. Food is good quality however I was ill after the visit and now have food poisoning. Place not clean, salt pots empty and one napkin.

Looked nice from outside, however upon entering, was met with slow and ignorant service, high prices as well as an added tax onto the order which didn't make sense. All tables are dirty and uncleaned from previous customers, not one has been cleaned during my visit to make way for new customers. Food was late and has to remind them to bring it, and they make you get up and grab it instead of walking 5 yards to your table. MUST AVOID

Very disappointed. Will not visit Blackburn M&S again. No wonder sales are down and branches closing. Watched member of staff stood there watching the doors just look on while 2 mum's were struggling to get through the door, it was almost as though she was laughing!!!!! Went round the food section and the staff were unhelpful and rude.. once of a day M&S had quality staff as well as products. How times have changed. Very Poor

I celebrated my 25th birthday at the Artisan last night and was more than happy with everything. Thank you to everyone for making the night amazing. Would highly recommend.
