The Big Blue Fish Bar in Telford and Wrekin

Ordered x5 fish and chips & they completely got my order wrong. They have a bunch of 16s years old working there who don’t listen! Missed my curry sauce & gravy after they said it’s in the bag! Rang them & they said 1 hour on the delivery! Stupid service

Best fish and chips in Telford , you won't be disappointed. We also ordered the southern fried chicken burger with the salad and it was perfect

after being let down my another major food chain I can say that my meal was excellent and the lady that delivered was very happy and polite i will order from yourselves again

Sorry guys not a gd review this time burger over cooked sausage realy dark hard skin over cooked asked for fresh cut kebab meat was hard skin on it pie top was rock hard fish cake was near enough black asked for mint yogurt garlic mayo and chilli sauce on chicken meat and chips got tinny bit garlic mayo loads chilli sauce and no yogurt. Sorry guys Had another one yesterday there was more salad on kebab than meat no sauce and not very hot

I am usually very satisfied with my order. This time e the chips were old and cold but the pie was ok…Very disappointed in the order as this was a celebration.

Used to best in Telford ! Now I rate as the worst !! Regular fish and chip meal . Smallest portion I have ever had ,soggy chips and dry fish ! What has happened to portions ??! More like child’s portion !! Staff clearly not wanting to be there !!! Come on Up your Game and return to your old ways.

Ordered through the app asked for a bbq meat feast and the app asked me to add extra topping for an extra fee did not want those but ended up with no toppings just cheese and bbq. Called up and they said the app is nothing to do with them even though their brand is all over the app. Shall never use again as the app is rubbish and the customer service not good.

Pretty disappointed tonight. We've lived in the area for nearly 2 years and this place was brilliant. We got a meal a few weeks back and were disappointed with the portion size vs price but we decided to give the benefit of the doubt so went back again tonight. Portions are easily half what they were a year ago and I got charged for chilli sauce even though you should get two free with the mixed meat naan. Very little meat and lettuce mainly just the hearts. Don't think we'll bother hoping for third time lucky unfortunately. The chips are nice, but the naan is stodgy and it feels poor value now unfortunately.

Delivery was late by over half an hour do think that’s due to a Saturday and the football being on but should update estimated delivery times or at least let you know it’s going to be later than expected but once here the food was amazing.

DON'T WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.... NOT VALUE FOR MONEY AT ALL AND THE LITTLE FOOD YOU DO GET IS BLAND AND LUKEWARM. PORTION SIZE HERE IS ACTUALLY LAUGHABLE. CLEARLY ALL ABOUT PROFIT THAN ANYTHING ELSE. EVERY TIME WE VISIT THERE'S SOMETHING WRONG... EITHER THEY'RE TRYING TO SCAM YOU OUT OF WHAT YOU'VE ACTUALLY PAID FOR OR THEY GIVE YOU THE BARE MINIMUM PORTION SIZE. THEIR LARGEST CHIPS (REGULAR) IS A SMALL TRAY AND ITS LEVELLED OFF SO YOU DON'T GET MANY. AND TODAY THEY TRIED TO FOB US OFF WITH A 12INCH PIZZA WHEN WE ORDERED THEIR 16INCH ONE. WALKING BACK IN THEY KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY HAD DONE WITHOUT EVEN SAYING ANYTHING. OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT THEY'D SEE IF THEY COULD GET AWAY WITH IT. DON'T ORDER THEIR MIXED MEAT EITHER. RIDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED FOR THE SMALLEST TUB (SMALL COMES IN A BURGER BOX AND THEIR LARGE COMES IN A SMALL TRAY) NOT EVEN FULL EITHER. SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.... WE WILL BE NOW AS WE'RE FED UP OF BEING ROBBED! PLUS IT WAS ALL COLD! Pictures added are of the portion sizes.... No chips were removed from their largest tray. You practically got the same amount of chips in the child's meal. AGAIN ID AVOID.... DONT SPEND YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY HERE UNLESS YOU'RE HAPPY WITH BEING RIPPED OFF AND GIVEN BLAND LUKEWARM FOOD!

Best Fish and ChipShop in the area

Have used this establishment over the years when it was in the old Leegomery center and of course in the new Leegomery center. The food has always been superb and the service has always been second to none and very friendly, however I’ve noticed over the last few month’s the quality has slightly slipped regarding the way the chips are cooked. The chips always used to want you wanting more to eat, even after polishing off a large portion. These days the chips are very anemic and are a tad undercooked as in looking quite unappealing (why the 3 stars being awarded) Thought it was a one off but it seems to be that maybe the shop has changed hands or management or even too quick to get the chips in and out the frier without thinking of what chips should look like a taste like traditionally, which is a shame because I still recommend this establishment but think twice about having the chips, everything else is still good quality.

Cods over cooked, batter was not edible. Onion rings greasy as he'll and no onion. Peas and curry pots missing from the cod meals and they defo were not large.

Place has gotten worse each time. You think it might be a 1 off, so give it the benefit of doubt and try the kabab again (this was the donner meat) pale, greasy, not how it should taste, so next time (3rd), I have sausage, which was gristly.... and a battered burger that was not cooked long enough, and the batter has soaked up all the grease and batter all doughy!

Placed the order 2 hours ago and it said it was on its way. I asked for an update and they extended the time. I asked for another update and money back for delayed time. Was rejected and told they are busier than usual. Tried calling multiple times and no answer. Now says 'enjoy your food'. Terrible service, no food, and gotta hope just eat will refund me for paying for nothing.

Used the big blue chippy I don’t recommend this chip shop to any of the pubic they get you order wrong which isn’t the first time and with an argument the decided to change the food so they took the food off us they was messing about with my meal changing it for different containers I will never use the big blue again I don’t even rate them with a star it’s really poor

The food was warm and delivered early

The Calzone we ordered was burned on one side and when we went in were told that was the way it should be. The tomato sauce was presented as a dip rather than an integral part of the Calzone. It was tasteless and the outside was too thick. The chips were pallid and soggy. The only redeeming features were the fish and the nice fresh salad.

My order changed from with the driver to being delivered and I had not receieved anything. Phoned the restaurant and they informed me that it was just leaving to be delivered. It arrived cold and none edable as it had been left that long. Will never be ordering from here again and another place on the black list.

where is my refund,your driver was 35 minutes late,and had left the chip shop 1hr 10m before and it's a 10 minute drive to my house.(so would you eat fish and chips that had been in back of a car for 1hr 10m ?) and now you are making me wait for my refund.

Some gluten free options would be nice for those suffering with coeliac. This is a service that more and more chip shops are offering and they get more customers because they do.

Food is always served cold, kebab meat is chewy and full of hard bits. Staff that own the place are rude and don't even acknowledge you when you enter they have no people skills but the English server is nice
