The Bicton Inn in East Devon

Friendly atmosphere, welcoming locals and regular live music sessions. This has become my regular Pub since moving here 4 years ago. If you love live music, this is the pub for you. You might see me playing my banjo on the folk nights.

Alison over the years is the most rudest person I have met over many years of enjoying a interesting and full life! Her attitude too myself is horrendous and only ensue to good friends going there ! She is so two faced as pretends too be nice to others yet awful to people she holds a grudge and most of the time for truly no reason whatsoever! Many a publican would have been dismissed , but whatever financial reason she stays is beyond any intellectual reason I have ever known! Shame on a woman who is so nasty! J

What a crackin Pub, a proper Pub 10/10

Not dog friendly at all the landlady not friendly got a face as sour as gone off milk and tonight refused us in as dog not welcome with live music long before the music even started and yesterday made it known us and our dog not welcome there !!!

Loved this little back street boozer.Good well kept beer,with music to keep you tapping away.Will definitely come back.

Had this pub on our list of places to sample on a trip to Exmouth. What a gem. Unspoilt. Really well kept beers - my mate and I enjoyed Hanlons Port Stout and Dartmoor Legend. A bit difficult to find, or maybe that was us. Street corner local. Lucky residents of Bicton Road, I say.

What a great pub... Loads of superb bitters on cask and decent music on the speakers. Comfy chairs. In a residential back street area of Exmouth. Highly recommended for ale drinkers.

Great little pub in Exmouth, had the local sea shanty group sat on a table so the whole pub was filled with good vibes. Good choice of local beers and good value for money.

Love this little pub. Tucked away off the main street, good day selection and a great atmosphere. They have lots of shanty music which is also a really great evening.

Lovely old fashioned charming pub ,we visited whilst on a short holiday to exmouth.we picked the night advertised as a folk night, only problem was we couldn't get a seat in the main room as apparently as we were told a private party took place at the same time hence the room was full to capacity. Shame they clashed as we would have stayed longer, however this is a lovely pub and we would certainly visit again .

Lovely character full pub, only stopped as passing for a pint, but wish I had more time to enjoy the atmosphere and the musician, folk music on a Tuesday lunch time and good beer, hard to beat in my book.

Been to this pub twice, excellent pub, atmosphere was amazing. Good choose of beers. Lovely to see that not all the traditional pubs have not disappeared.

I'm assured the beer was good as was my wine. Friendly accommodating staff and a typical local corner pub.

Cannot rate The Bicton highly enough. A proper "boozer". Packed at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon for music. A good choice of tasty beers. Definitely a musicians pub; a very knowledgeable and appreciative audience.

Great place to experience folk music. This pub has character .

Nice proper pub. Advertised as having a great selection of ales but on a Saturday evening they only had two and neither were very good. Also they'd had live music - good - but no one had bothered to rearrange the tables afterwards so it was awkward for people trying to sit somewhere and for people trying to get to the bar. Shame - we might try to visit again but will aim for when the live music is on and will hopefully get a better impression.
