It's not the same since the change of ownership. The quality has dropped, and prices have increased. This used to be the best Doner in the area, but it's clear the Doner is no longer house-made and now has a cheap, processed taste.

Absolutely amazing burgers and shakes

Used to be a really good kebab shop until the new owners arrived, food quality has gone downhill need to find a new kebab shop.

Charged me 25£ for a doner and a chicken burger meal they forgot to add any sauce to the order or cheese to the burger as specified on the order. 💀

Used to be a decent place but now prices are extortionate. Ordered a lamb shish kebab for £17, even made it a large for an extra £3.90 and this is what I received!

There is a stuff round face with stuble beared is disgusting. His attitude is completely unprofessional.He talk to the customer & delivery driver so badly. For that guy we dont order anything from this shop

The worst stuffs there as every1 said before...short employee do cheap jokes everytime, his english is too bad.i Don't know how can person like him works there. Price is also high, i suggest to all ppls not to go there rather go to german doner or foodies near this shop

Bad shop, there is a staff looking short behave badly with customer’s and Delivery drivers. He always make bad jokes, which is very unprofessional for a employee. I recommend everyone not to go to this shop.

First time ordered, a little busy but was pushing to hurry for sauces when all can be managed as only 3 to 4 other customers placed their orders and were waiting for their food.

This used to be the kebab in town I’m sitting here now with a chicken kebab and it’s like rubber this after trying them new owners a few times is the worst kebab in Essex

Don’t waste your money!!!! Food is not what you would expect!!!! £42 for some chicken and chips!! Half the meal was missing and very rude and disrespectful customer service!!!!!

This is not the same Best Kebab house of old. I have been coming here for years and it used to be the best food in town. It has been taken over by new owners and the quality of food is really bad. The portions are very big though.

Best kebab around personally, I'm based in romford alot of them is either rubbish or just have high price's with fat chips lol. This place has thin chips which are cripsy they are not stingy with the potions either. Very kind with exceptional customer service. This place is a little bit pricey but not but not by much you get quality and quantity all in one.Travel from romford just to get a decent kebab.

I have been eating at this kebab shop for the best part of 20 years. The lamb doner was always made in house with quality ingredients. Unfortunately the last owner has now sold the shop and the quality has taken a nose dive, the doner now looks and tastes as though it’s manufactured in a factory and full of rubbish rather than whole ingredients. Such a pity as this used to be the only shop in the area I ate doner from. The old cliche of, you dont know what you’ve got until its gone comes to mind here.

It's recently been taken over by new owners and it's not good. I gave it a second try this week just to give it another chance. I will no longer be coming back. Kebabs are way too salty and the quality has taken a nose dive. Doner lamb meat is very greasy / oily and satly, chicken shish is also salty and not as tasty, salad has taken a nose dive in quality and is no longer finely chopped, the garlic sauce is a lot worse. Such a shame, this place has been a staple of the High Road for many many years. Whilst I wish the previous owners well, I miss them.

I liked the wraps and its good size of wrap, but recently they have reduce the amount of meat in it and they used to offer home delivery but they now are on deliveroo which charge you way extra. just imagine normal price £7,50 and deliveroo £11,50 s so basically no longer good price

I have been going to this kebab for more then 15 years and it has been taken over by new owners. Unfortunately the food is now very bad. The kebab has way too much salt and tastes weird. The chips were absolutely shocking! Overcooked with old oil. So sad but will need to find a new kebab shop.

I had donner wrap , it was packed with delicious lamb donner and salad, Guy is very nice to me been a regular for last few months... Must say best donner around here EDIT:: 8 MONTHS LATER ITS £8 AND THEY GIVE LESS MEAT SO YOU GET 3 STARS

Told to wait 15 minutes took 30 minutes. Then, the kebab was halfed cooked. Drop in standards. Normally good food.. Portions perfect but kebab meat rushed and not cooked.

Definitely not the Best Kebabs, rather average with high price. Kebab taste was average and the place was out dated. I asked if they did Shawarma and the guy said yes and just gave me a Donar role. & Charged me more then a Donar role.🤔😐 Really annoying if you don't have something say you don't have and offer something else. Will not be stopping here again unfortunately. Close to bus stop and Chadwel heath station only bonus.

Fantastic customer service! And above all the best lamb doner in london in my opinion. They make their doner on site! And you can taste that in every bite! The lamb flavor really comes through and marry well the seasoning used to make this divine doner! I always get mine in a wrap, along with Chilli sauce, garlic sauce, ketchup lettuce and onion! For myself that’s the perfect combo! But I’m sure any way you have yours, you will love it!! Thank you guys!! X

Food was made with no love or flavour, very oily meat could have been cooked longer very chew like parts were raw. They are called best kebab, but this was the worst I've had.

Simply the best kebab in Chadwell heath 👏👌

I have been a regular customer of this shop for 30 years. The food is always absolutely delicious. Generous portions, fresh and tasty. Very highly recommended. One small thing though, no cards accepted, so you'll need cash here, but there is a link machine right opposite the shop so no problem.

While the food is good, the portion sizes have very much become smaller and now packed in containers instead of paper. Not impressed with the rip off so shall go to the Plaistow one where customer is still king. And I say this confidently, Plaistow tastes better as well.

Plenty, fast, tasty and not expensive

The shop literally has the best quality donner kebab and chips, the chilli sauce and mayo is really nice with it. Only reason why i didn't give it 5 stars is because price is really high but other than that food is amazing.

Best kebab house in Chadwell Heath high Road. The door number is 1098 Chadwell Heath high Road. This kebab shop is amazing. Their kebabs taste amazing. You have to try their kebab at least once in your life. They have been around for so many years and they are always busy. The shop is of medium size and it is very clean the food is very clean the premises a very clean and the guys who work in the shop also dressed quite clean and look appropriate for the role. I would recommend this kebab shop because the food is amazing and the staff are also amazing the kebabs shop is opposite Barclays bank and Chadwell dental care and the shoe repair shop they are also next to 3 different haircutting and hairdressers and hairs salon shops enjoy your kebab

Portions seem to get smaller and smaller every day! Worker was putting salad as if he was weighing gold! Not as good as used to be! I bought small and large doners and both seem to be the same size! They just charge you more for the same food!!!

It's true what they say about the kebabs they are... succulent as tasty....the only thing lacking is proper fat chips...they give you the fried forzen chips....

Aptly named. Best in the area, by far. And I've tried many. You wouldn't think it by the humble facade. I recently moved away after about ten years going here, and now I pine for a large doner and chicken shish mixed kebab more than anything. Sam and his guys take their job very seriously, making the running of a kebab house into an art form and taking the kebab itself to a new level. Just stop by on a busy Fri or Sat night to see for yourself. They could have a shop full of customers and a line up out the door, they will still do whatever they can to make it perfect the way you want it. Simple, tasty food, plus portions are massive, as in you need a lay down after. All my girlfriends even looked forward to eating from there, that's how delicious it is. Also I think they make their own doner meat but not totally sure.
