We were a large table celebrating my daughter's 18th birthday. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. All our dietary requirements were met including 2 vegans within our group. All the dishes came together which isn't easy for a table of 15 All freshly cooked and plentiful, so much so we couldn't manage dessert! Fabulous cocktails , prosecco and Rose wine Highly recommended

Both the food and service were excellent. I’ve visited here on many occasions with my family and have always been made to feel welcome. As for the food we had the Sunday roasts on our recent visit and we couldn’t fault the meals. Such good value for money and very tasty.

Food was ok but quite expensive for what it was. Chips nice. Needs heating turned up as quite cold. Service nice. We were hoping for something more cosy. We won’t be going back.

Visited here on Saturday evening for a meal with grandkids-they enjoy the play area outside. Very warm atmosphere, lots of attentive staff and meals arrived quite quickly after ordering. Love the fact that the fish and chips are gluten free. Good sized portions and food hot. We will be back!!

Ah it's a shame to mark The Berry down, but it's trying to be a restaurant and moving away from it's core business. They'll lose a lot of locals if they continue. The problem is the food - or lack of lunch options, more specifically. If this is the aim - turning it into a night time eaterie with charcuterie boards and "wine pairings" then I wish them all the best and leave them to it. But PLEASE don't forget the locals that have kept it going over the years, they are your staple. I enjoyed the loaded fries, but there was nothing for the "smaller palate" (polite way of saying my older parents) who don't particularly want the equivalent of a three course meal at half one in the afternoon. Staff, as ever, welcoming and a joy, sorry I had to knock two off for the lack of food when it's not your fault.

We went on a weekend for lunch, the pub was deserted and it wasn’t hard to see why: £5.50 for a shandy (don’t forget that’s only half a pint of beer) and £14.50 for a burger, these are prices I’d expect to find in a pub in Zone 1, not on the outskirts of London in a place most people have never heard of. Apart from the rip off prices, the pub was alright with a playground area for kids.

Staff are amazing, absolutely great service. No one was left waiting for more than maybe a couple of minutes. Great quality house wines and I was even tempted to try a cocktail (orange and passionfruit) and seriously one of the nicest I've ever had.

Booked Sunday lunch for five people today as it was my husband, Charlie's birthday and we were visiting our children who live nearby. The food was absolutely delicious and there was plenty of it. However, what made the meal so special was how lovely the staff were. The barman and the waitress were so polite and friendly, and made us feel so welcome. Thank you.

A friend and I booked for Sunday lunch at 2pm. Nobody available to direct us to our seats. Two separate bars being managed by one person about 8/9 deep with people waiting to be served. The waitress took our order after about 15 minutes. Took 35 minutes to get served the drinks. The food turned up after an hour. The roast pork was delicious and the portions very good. Not much chance of getting a dessert or another drink despite another person now helping the other two out. So we left at 3.30pm. Such a pity as the food was great and staff were trying so hard but totally overwhelmed.

Al haber ido cerca que pensé que debería salida mi nuevo representante y me alegro de haberlo hecho! Tenía un buen vaso de vino tinto y una gran bienvenida cuando vine (que también estaba ocupada, así que fue una genuina bienvenida!) Bajo nueva dirección este pub va de fuerza de fuerza. Nos redescubierto este año con nuestros hijos, hay un bonito parque infantil en la parte de atrás para ellos, una buena selección de cervezas y estándares de artesanías que cambian con regularidad (tenía una preciosa alimentos procesados IPA hace dos noches). A menudo tienen mitad de precio y ofertas de comida de BOGOF y cuando hace frío hay un fuego para calentar.

Cómo refrescante encontrar un muy decente, correcto pub inglés, y para ser recibidos con una chica encantadora detrás del bar, que ofrece excelentes sándwiches recién preparados para almorzar (así como un menú mas honda).
