Lovely atmosphere inside. Also great for a take-away. The food is absolutely wonderful. So many flavours and great portions.

Ordered 2 main dishes, a vegetable side dish, 2 pilau rice and 2 garlic nan for us to collect. £37.00 for average food. No discount for collection. Unfortunately didn't get the price before the wife collected and paid. Looked on website and it should of been £27.00. Rang them up. Excuses of there's a new menu and wife had paid with a card! Most expensive indian restaurant in my area and food nothing better than average. Avoid.

Went last night with friends,, was busy so took a while for the food but when it come it was lovely, really tasty and hot, definitely gonna try again for a takeaway!! Nice place the ladies were busy serving but very polite.

Lovely food such a shame it's closed it's doors Back open now and renamed Curry Queen and under new management. Redecorated and updated with a delicious new menu absolutely delicious food and lovely people. Highly recommended

Always eat in the Restaurant, have done for years but never had a takeaway! Only because we like the atmosphere in the Restaurant but didn’t disappoint, absolutely delicious! Will definitely be ordering again whilst in these strange times.

Ordered a collection online and didn't have to wait on arrival. Food was very tasty, with good portion sizes.

Our order was just completely terrible. The meat in the starters was tasteless and dry, the curries tasted like a ready meal as apose to a freshly made curry. My chicken tikka bhuna was plain chicken and looked like baby sick. The naan breads had no flavour to them and no cheese in sight. 2nd time ordering here, ordered again to give it the benefit of doubt however it is just truly a bad restaurant.

WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD!!! ... My butter chicken looked like babysick which may of tasted better and been warmer.. My rice and naan bread were stone cold.. And I don't think they have any oil left in the kitchen as it was all in my 1 poppadom that I had....absolutely the worse place I have ordered from and will definitely not be back... Only decent thing the was the food was 30 min early but freezing so god knows what it would be like if I had wait to wait my full time 🤮

Worst Indian iv ever had bland no spice at all and very little flavour in curries soggy naan bread which has never seen any garlic cheese or meet in the keema 6 small pieces of meet in each curry and other sundries portion sizes must have been for kids

Lovely food whether it’s eating in or takeaway

Takeaway in lockdown! We used this restaurant regularly for takeaways before lockdown but this was our first takeaway for 2 months. Always been good service and food, never had any complaints. On this occasion one of the dishes we ordered came wrong so I rang to tell them. Without hesitation they agreed to get the correct dish cooked and delivered asap. Within 10 -15 mins the delivery guy (must be a dog whisperer as our dog barks at anyone and anything but went in to greet him without a sound! ) was knocking on the door! My husband and son were still eating their meals so we still ate together! Excellent service, thank you Bengal Lounge. And the food was as good as always.

Worst food worst service where do I start first order was 40 minutes later the food was stone cold the yogurt dip was off in the Tikka there was about 4 bits of chicken and when you thought it couldn't get any worse I found some rusty bits of metal in my rice ... So I ring up yes sir we will send it again within 30 minutes it never turned up try to ring again no answer utter joke should be ashamed don't order from here if you want a good meal

Good food good atmosphere friendly polite staff and good prices well worth a visit. Visited this Christmas eve 2019 with my daughter her husband and my wife, it was my wife's birthday, I can honestly say we had a great time, food was fantastic Staff as cheerful as ever, once again I'd say it's well worth a visit.

Terrible service. Clearly not enough staff. Went as a group and all food came out separate, some had finished eating while others hadn't even got their food. Was in there nearly 3.5 hrs due to slow service

It was very good. Not had an Indian/curry in a restaurant for a good while but i must say Th Bengal Lounge is up there as a place to go for a meal. Well done to the staff.

We have been here a couple of times and each time the service has been super. The four course menu is great value and lots of choice is available. Service from the waiters was exceptional and made us feel very welcome. We shall definitely be back for more delicious food!

Absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend.

Fantastic food. Slow service which seem to be amplified by staffing issues, however, a discount was given on presentation of the bill. Other than that we'll be back for another tasty curry. Naan breads to die for. 😊

Had 3 courses and the food was fantastic. Servers kept my drink topped up and did what they should but didn't see a smile or any sign that they actually wanted to be there. Shame really as food is so good. I will return when next in area but only due to the food

Really loved everything about my trip here. I had the chicken chat puree for starters and its been the best ive ever had. Also had the chicken jalfrazi and the spice was just right. Would deffo recommend going. Ill deffo go again.

I've been going there many times foods all ways good, well recommended nice place nice service great staff..

Being a bit of a curry snob from up North I find a really good curry hard to come by since moving to Nottinghamshire. Until now. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the price at the end of dinner was excellent too.Keep up the fantastic work, we will be back.

After a trip out decided to call in on our way back. After reviewing what we wanted in the car we walked in and stated that we wanted to order takeaway. we were asked to take a seat. After 5 minutes noone had been over to ask if we required a drink or take our order despite continuoisly wandering to the other table seated near us. After 15 minutes and about to walk out we were asked if we had ordered and the waiter said he thought we were part of another group. We ordered drinks and food and waited. The food arrived around 15 to 20 mins later and we left. The food flavours were nice, but then one of the kids started to choke on something . After spitting it out it was clear it was something that didnt belong, namely a piece of metal. I called the place to let them know and was passed on. I told the guy what had happened expecting an apology but instead recieved excuses and was told that "they dont use anything metal in the kitchen" i advised that i didnt care and was expecting an apology to which i was told "of course i apologise do you want another CTM sending out?" Yes mate we will all wait an hour for another curry. Get a grip. When are restaurents going to get a grip on the importance of customer service? It really baffles me that proffesionals in the trade cant see it. Oh by the way my daughter is fine. Thanks for not asking though.

Great value tasty food & excellent service!

Staff are rude and just stare at you they smell Aswell. Carnt really say anything good about a place with more staff then customers most nights. The manager was definitely a wrong Un and food was what it expected of a local weatherspoons for five times the price. They even cooked my food on either a bunson burner or camping stove I can't decide at my table like I was a homeless smack rat peasant living in a tent. Worse experience then eating a kebab from a bin on a Monday morning

Was really nice the first time I ordered So I ordered again but this time the Tarka dall was like soup no flavour at all. Phoned the takeaway to tell them and they said I should have asked for it to be thicker. It was perfect last time orders so why would I ask that?Not ordering from here again.

Not impressed! Each of the four dishes tasted old and looked grey. All had the same strange after taste. Meat was old, dry and tough. Will not be giving this place another try.

They have good menu. But please chicken curry has to be spice. I know you have diferents chicken but chicken curry has to be spice. Good food

a very good menu choice, well cooked and worth every penny. Wehave been back twice already this month.
