Un pub que siempre espero visitar en cualquier viaje al maravilloso barrio georgiano de Liverpool es el Belvedere Pub, que ha estado aquí muchas veces a lo largo de los años, siempre lo pasó bien y así lo demostró en nuestra última visita a aquí. Un pub de 1836 con algunas características originales aún intactas, un pub de dos habitaciones, chimeneas de leña real, un bar de servicio de estilo isla, características de vidrio grabado, decoración ecléctica y muebles y un montón de opciones de asientos repartidos por todo este pub, tanto dentro como fuera, con vistas a las concurridas y bulliciosas calles que componen esta zona del barrio georgiano de Liverpool, es solo un clásico pub de calle. Estábamos aquí en un enero amargamente frío temprano por la tarde, tuvimos un estudio de su verdadera cerveza que debo decir que me impresionó, al final los dos optamos por tener una cerveza pálida cada uno de Neptune Brewery, estos se sirvieron en excelentes condiciones, nos relajamos y calentamos mientras bebíamos nuestra cerveza pálida. Mi pale ale estaba muy buena, una pale ale crujiente, con lúpulo, toques de toffee, un delicioso aroma y regusto con un acabado suave, una pale ale clásica británica servida en un pub británico clásico. Los dos disfrutamos mucho de nuestra cerveza pálida aquí antes de seguir adelante y aunque nuestra visita fue solo fugaz como en cada otra visita a The Belvedere Pub nos lo pasamos muy bien. El Belvedere Pub es fácil de encontrar a lo largo de la calle Sugnall. El horario de apertura es; Lunes a viernes, 1 pm hasta medianoche. Sábado y domingo, mediodía hasta medianoche. Un gran pub, vale la pena comprobar si estás en el barrio georgiano de Liverpool.

Visited yesterday lunchtime in a side street in the Georgian quarter.A really interesting Georgian building inviting especially the rooms upstairs.Downstairs some a very rare pub screen with etched glass amongst other features.A wide selection of beers well worth a visit.The staff friendly even though I was a little provocative about sporting matters.This smart historic pub deserves your support.

El Belvedere es un pub de la era georgiana que se encuentra en la calle Sugnall y se encuentra en el barrio georgiano donde hay muchos pubs / bares y restaurantes. Fundado en 1836 'este pub se encuentra en un edificio increíble que se ve increíble. Tiene un interior de dos habitaciones con bonito mobiliario y una bonita decoración y muchas características originales en todo su interior. Por alguna razón esta es nuestra primera visita a aquí en bastante tiempo y ha cambiado un poco desde nuestra última visita. Visitamos por la noche y estaba bastante ocupado, pero no tomó mucho tiempo para ser servido. Cuando visitamos aquí tomamos unas copas de ales de barril de la cervecería Neptuno. Las cervezas se llamaban Galeno y donde muy bien precio en £ 4. 75 por dos mitades. Es un magnífico pub del viejo mundo que se encuentra en una excelente zona de Liverpool y es un pub que vale la pena visitar. (Estas son mis primeras reseñas del Belvedere). Horario de apertura. Visting from over the border felt very clicy would not recommend to a stranger in town.

Un amigo me recomendó este pub mientras yo tenía un día libre del trabajo cuando trabajaba en Liverpool. ¡Buen hallazgo! Tranquilo y cómodo pub, barman amable, buenas melodías estaban sonando tranquilamente en el fondo. En la pared del salón, un gran conjunto de fotografías antiguas en blanco y negro de escenas de Liverpool de las últimas décadas. Era a media tarde cuando lo visité, un domingo. No demasiado ocupado, unas pocas personas iban y venían, varias afuera en la zona de estar. Sería bueno volver. ¡Saludos!

Un gran pequeño hallazgo mientras visita a amigos. Ambiente agradable y buena selección de bebidas. El personal del bar es digno de mención especialmente el tipo de Cornualles - ¿creemos que su nombre es Rowan? Sin duda volveremos de nuevo la próxima vez en la zona.

Lovely building, beer selection is 👌 the cask was lovely.

While I'll tolerate a dismissive member of bar staff as a one off normally (they may be having a bad day, it's allowed) this particular member of staff seemed to be going for gold. Minimally polite and somewhat abrupt. I'd let him off for a bad day if he hadn't made me ask for a top up on a pint that was a full inch below the rim. I haven't been here for a while, because the staff don't seem to care. Just reinforced my feeling. There for the passers-by and no attempt to create an atmosphere. For a pub supposedly known for its ales, stay for a swift half and move on, or just give it a miss for the many more welcoming pubs in the area who serve full pints without the passive aggressiveness!

We were on a trip down memory lane for one of our group who hadn't visited THE BELVEDERE for 40 years!! He was not disappointed. The stories were flowing thick and fast.Those of us who had not visited before found this pub charming.The surprise came when we found that Satterthwaite pork pies were on sale.Happy days,a pie and a pint. Tom is an absolute star behind the bar. Keep up the good work. Pinkwoolyhat.

Wonderful, cosy little gem, historically ventured and brilliant ales!

If you're not lokal stay well away , almost got mugged in the toilet , but definitely got short changed at the bar.

Small, traditional pub. A very decent selection of ales and cider. Split into two sections though (bar to the right; seating to the left) which affected the atmosphere a bit. Much cosier when we found room upstairs.

I’ve always thought of this place as a great place for a pint but Tom made us 2 of the best cocktails weve ever had and we can’t wait to to back. Tom’s Spicy Margarita is exceptional! Great pies, pints , and cocktails.

Don’t walk past! Pop in for a pint. Really nice little pub. The staff were so friendly and the locals always on hand to tell you a tale or two.

A traditional old English pub,great real ale selection. Outside seating. Frequented by friendly locals and core of travelling visitors. One of the best.

I stumbled across this cosy little gem as I was wondering around the Georgian Quarter waiting for a friend and I was in need of a pint and popped in here, the staff were friendly, it was quite quiet at the time I went in but didn't feel awkward and had a nice chat with the staff. Quality selection of real ales that weren't ridiculously priced. If you're in Liverpool check it out.

A quiet little hidden gem of a pub - a real treasure in such a large and busy city.

Shockingly bad pub. Used to be great but let down by an awful manager who has no concept of decency. Do I want to be served by someone who's scraping themselves into my pint? No. Was previously my fave spot after Beer X, never again.

Lovely little pub,in a little cul- de- sac it has been modified recently and now has upstairs rooms as downstairs can get a bit full of an evening. Not a lot of space but very cosy on a winters day when they light the fire up. Good range of real ales, nice staff and friendly locals ..

Memories from previous visits in the late 1970s. Still the same atmosphere with a good selection of cask beers. Also enjoyed the pork and blackpudding pie. My friends on their first visit, said they will also return.

Came here after a night in the Phil. Lovely young lady from York helped my wife choose an excellent red, she was very knowledgeable and I had a few pints of local beer. Great beer, great wine and friendly staff.

Great Backstreet Boozer with a good selection of ales

The Belvedere is situated in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool close to the Anglican cathedral. It is around three quarters of a mile on foot from Lime Street station. There was a fine selection of cask ales available plus the pork pies were excellent with delicious crispy pastry.

Good beer selection, but the new service is terrible. New bar staff (girl with long blonde hair) is brash, gruff, and unfriendly. I’ve been going here for many years but with how she behaved towards our group on Wednesday night, we won’t be going back. She started aggressively putting all the chairs upside down and shouting us out at 11:15pm. Their business profile on google states 12 midnight closing time. So, who’s being misleading, I don’t know. But what I do know is, there’s no need to treat your clientele this badly, even if you managed to do so before in spoons without any protest.

Great little pub, one of the places that's if you know about it, then you know. Hidden away off Hope Street , it has a decent selection of ale and many worth a try (I went for a pint of 'Release the Pressure from Nightjar Bew Co - very nice!). Now, it is a small pub, I usually visit in the summer when the weather is a bit better and can sit outside, however if you do get a seat, it's extremely cosy, and the atmosphere is usually very relaxed. Early afternoon your best bet if you just fancy a quite pint on your own. We'll worth a visit.

Awful experience, brought friends from London who, shock horror, didn't ask for the Guinness as the first drink and also had the bare face cheek to ask for the tonic not to be added to her gin. Cut to the barman , seriously, slamming the drinks on to the bar. Fortunately we thought it was hilarious, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Hard to find little pub on the outskirts of the city centre. Nice selection of beers and gins. We called in in the daytime midweek so it was quiet but its worth a visit if you can find it 😉 and quite lively at the weekend.

What a cracking little pub ! Authentic surroundings - not many left like this. Great selection of beers, wines and spirits with superb pies on offer ! Tom is a great host and is excellent behind the bar, especially with his knowledge of cocktails and all the drinks on offer. The espresso martini he made for my partner was the best she has ever tasted ! A very welcoming place ; highly recommended 👍

This is a Hidden Gem hidden away behind the Philharmonic in Liverpool. Visited for the first time last Friday and its great. Really good choice of real ales, nice cosy interior with 2 rooms downstairs and seating at the front of the pub. The pies they serve are great and a nice choice of pork pies and sauces/ketchup's to add. Friendly staff and helpful. Fully recommended!

Lovely pub. Small, cozy and a true hidden gem! Part of the world famous Pirate Map Pub Crawl and one of the best in Liverpool. The pint of Budvar was superb and the glass it came in was 🙌 I didn't have one this time, but in winter I'm fond of their awesome pork pies 🥧 Also - VERY good, clean toilets 🚻 👍

Great pub with a warm feel, log fire for the colder days give it a unique feel, usually has a great variety of cask and keg, about 6-8 that frequent in change, with a permanent feature from pollys brewing co, which is always a fantastic choice, even more selection of craft beers in the fridges also, friendly staff who have good knowledge about their beers. Dog friendly 🐕♥️
