We have had Sunday lunch here many times with excellent customer service, however today’s was exceptional. I had the beef which melted in the mouth and my husband had turkey which also melted. The highlight for me was the creamy tasty mashed potato. Well done.

Lovely pub with very comfortable spacious rooms. Staff all very friendly. Good breakfast. Handy for Old Trafford. Food and drink all decent and fairly priced. Great value all round.

Fabulous setting and rooms. Parking on site. Food menu in the bar/restaurant offers a huge variety of dishes. Service was great. Breakfast was amazing too, so many choices available. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Room was extremely well laid out and the bed was very comfortable. For any pokemon goers there is a spin site there too 😊 All in all fabulous place to stay

Enjoying a 4-day stay. Great breakfasts. We are really impressed with the service - not at all formal, but very efficient with good humour. Restaurant food similarly good.

Very good establishment. Small rooms have double beds with heavy quilts so when the weather is mild,it tends to get a bit uncomfortable for two people. However,all in all, good value for money and very good food. Staff and the manager, very helpful.

We visited for lunch on a Sunday. Both chose the steak n ale pie with chips and a small jug of gravy. Really lovely and I would recommend. Desert was sticky toffee pudding and a cheeseboard. Again excellent choices. The only thing that was annoying was children running around our table, climbing trees and pulling flowers off the trees. The landlord could not have made it clearer with notices ‘do not climb trees’ unfortunately the parents let them loose whilst they enjoyed themselves. We’ll avoid the weekend visits but definitely eat again.

Stayed here with family before going on holiday last month, have stayed a few times as a solo traveler & family and the welcome we always get is very warm and welcoming and makes us wanting to come back everything. All the staff we encountered were polite & informative and more than helpful especially with 2 loud children with us. The food we received was excellent as always and the staff are an absolute credit to the company with a very tight and steady ship captain in Dave. Thanks and see you again soon :)

I stayed in the hotel for a night, looking forward to the tasty dinner after looking at the menu in advance, only to find that after a 5 hour drive the kitchen was closed at 8.45pm! This was ridiculous but I was so tired I didn't want to make a fuss. I ordered a very average chinese instead but as the Restaurant was a factor in the booking. It has to lose marks. Room was excellent, nice decor, cool, lots of hot water. Slept very well apart from toothache (but that wasn't their fault :D) Lots of up and down stairs and a bit of a maze but no real bother. Onsite EV charger is brilliant and fast. Very useful. Would wholeheartedly stay again but Belmore, please, close your Kitchen at a more reasonable time for your Guests.

Hotel was lovely the room was modern and clean and the food was amazing. The staff were really friendly and welcoming would definitely stay there again.

Well decorated and furnished pub/hotel only a short walk from Brooklands Tram Stop. Beds very comfy and conducive to a good night's sleep - you'll probably need the window open as they are a tad warm! Restaurant kitchen closes at 8:30pm but there are other restaurants and take-aways fairly nearby, if that's an issue. WiFi wasn't available in the bedrooms, at least there wasn't any info and my devices didn't show any obvious connections. However, would probably stay again, but make sure I didn't get delayed arriving!

You won't find many places to stay better than this. Perfect in everyway. Genuinely could not find a thing to complain about or say bad about. Lovely little place to stay.

Clean, quiet, kettle in the room with tea and real coffee, towels changed every day. You don't have to pay for parking. I recommend.

Fantastic place to stay. If ever in Manchester, I really recommend this place. Great hotel, rooms, superb breakfast and outstanding service! Close to tram station, very accessible.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

The Belmore is a modern hotel but with the ambience of a traditional pug/ country inn. Staff are very competent courteous and service was brilliant.

Food and service better than most lees pubs small fish and chips perfectly adequate asked for no relish on the burger was confidently told it came separate which I thought was unusual alas the relish was on the bun.Carrot cucumber and sesame salad promised with the duck spring rolls was a couple of mixed leaves with one shaving of carrot all very limp spring rolls were nice though.

Nice decor. Barman friendly but the waiter was surly. Couldn't understand what he, was, saying. He was, surly and shouted across the room cas or card! Not professional. The man wh served our food was nice but won't go again.

We had excellent food and service from the Belmore team for our small function here. Everything was spot on, they were very helpful and flexible from booking to the day itself, and accommodated our last minute extra guests with no hassle. Lovely smart restaurant area too. Can 100% recommend. Will definitely go again if we're in Sale.

This is my favourite place to go . All the staff are so kindhearted and helpful, they go the extra mile for their customers and the food is always so delicious. I highly recommend to all my friends . Definitely give this place a try .

Went in for a drink with a group of friends. Was dead in there when we arrived only 2 other customers at about 9pm. Group of 13 of us arrived and the bar staff ignored us and were clearing tables instead. Really strange experience - we eventually got served, but by only 1 member of staff rather than both of them jumping on the till go clear our initial rush

We have been here before to have dinner with family, also that was a good experience. By chance we choose the hotel now to stay for a few nights. Great hotel with beautifull rooms and a splendid staff. We for sure will come back when we will be in Manchester.

Lovely restaurant, friendly staff but sadly food not at all up to expectations. Went here today for mums 89th birthday lunch. Think the main Chef must have been off for the day. Our starters were small for the almost £9 price and mums rolls were burnt. She had to leave the pastry. We waited about 40 mins for our mains which then came cold. They had clearly been sat waiting. I had a ‘supposedly’ hot beef noodle salad. Very small portion for £14 and cold. We informed the waiter who was very nice but we were mindful we were all eating together so didn’t want to wait further. After the meal we ordered two coffees and a tea which he took off the bill. As I say, very nice place but won’t be going back because of the poor standard of food.

Haven't stayed here (it's a hotel and a restaurant), but as far as food goes, it's second to none. The roast dinner was fantastic, and although it needed extra gravy, they were happy to bring some more right away.

Enjoyed the food and drinks and we will be back just not on a regular basis, more of a special treat kind of place.

Stayed the night prior to our flight - fantastic family room, exceptionally clean and the staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately we didn’t have to time for a meal but the rest looked great. Will definitely stay here again if we visit Manchester again.

Very nice small(ish) hotel. Rooms very well appointed, staff are incredibly helpful, and the breakfast good. Decent beer in the bar as well, including several local brews. Tram stop is about ten minutes walk, allowing easy access to central Manchester.

We often go to restaurant at Belmore. It has plenty of car park spaces. The setting is lovely. If the weather is nice outdoor and especially the terrace is amazing to experience. It is child friendly. The food is really nice. Staff are very polite, helpful and friendly. The indoor seating area is just gorgeous. On the best fish dishes I’ve ever eaten. We love it there and 100% recommend.

Great location for a night in Manchester. Free parking, the tram 10 minutes away, 20 minutes into town. Friendly staff, quality pub food, good breakfast, plenty to eat. Room was clean, large enough for an overnight stay. Definitely use again.

We have always been very happy with our stays at the Belmore, so it came as an unexpected surprise to find that the hotel aspect had been given it's own identity, with a separate entrance and a welcoming reception area. This made the whole booking-in experience so much better, and more in keeping with the excellent service provided in the bar and restaurant. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and had an excellent shower. It was serviced every night we stayed, with consumables like the tea and coffee and bottled water replenished, the bed made and towels folded. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

Went for a Weekendtrip with my 10 Year old son. From the moment we walked in, we were treated and felt like family. My Son was nonplused about all the attention and cookies :-) 1 day before arrival we asked, if we coud borrow an adapter for the phonecharger. The went to buy one and gave it to us as a gift. All members off staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We can`t wait to get back there. THANK YOU SO MUCH for making our weekend spacial.

Nice local pub with tasty 😋 food! Interior design is very interesting, spending time there always a pleasure! Food is so tasty and prices are affordable, especially during these times, when everything is raising! Plenty of places outside, when weather 🌦️ is good - I would recommend to try it. What surprised me last time - Electrical Vehicles charger 🔌 was installed recently! That was shocking to be honest, cos not every shop 🏬 got it yet, Thank you for keeping such a nice place for years 🙏 and even making it better👌

We booked the hotel for a family bereavement for our party of seventeen. From the booking process, through check in, breakfast and meals in the evening, everything was just what you would wish for at such a sad time. I would highly recommend The Belmore. Thank you.

Great short stay. Stayed with my daughters so we could access the Trafford Centre the following day. Great location. Easy to get to. Nicer than centre of Manchester for us. Great pub and restaurant. We stayed in the Fredrick Suite which was lovely. Clean. Comfy beds. Tasty food in yeh restaurant. Highly recommend for couples, family and business

Very traditional place, perfect for a night visiting !

The room was OK, a few things had broken in the room and it looked a little run down. Food in the restaurant of an evening was OK. Breakfast is standard the staff how ever need to move on. One particular lady at Breakfast service was rude and disrespectful. Moaning and gossiping about guests in full ear shot of them is not what you expect to experience. I've stayed here a few times now this time was not a good experience at all.

We arrived Thursday 22nd Feb and left the 26th of Feb. Both of our arrivals and departure from Belmore were seamless. We were welcomed early at 9:25, to a warm welcome by Ben - Thursday morning and were allowed to drop off our bags - no problem, along with that - with 5 minutes to spare, we were able to avail of breakfast - what we needed. On arrival that afternoon on check in time - the transition of checking in to getting to the room. Room was unreal, fantastic space, bed was bloody massive and it was great. Bathroom was spotless and very very spacious with a bath and shower. Nothing to fault in the room. In relation to the staff / the pub and the restaurant - can’t fault them. I wish I knew the names of the staff as they were regular throughout our stay but all were accommodating. From breakfast hospitality with a wide range to offer of food , to the restaurant and the menu on offer - we were a couple of two and also visited family up here and became a table of 4 for dinner. Each meal option was beautiful - in particular the Tower Burger! Overall, fantastic stay and easy to navigate. 8 minute walk to brookland tram stop and everything at your door step from there. We will certainly be back annually to visit and stay.

Stayed here for 3 weeks, I have to say this place was absolutely brilliant, food was excellent, Rooms where excellent cleaned everyday and fresh towels, all staff where extremely accommodating was looked after very well, thank you for a brilliant stay and I look forward to staying again soon hopefully

The staff were absolutely phenomenal. They helped me to a disabled friendly table nearer to the disabled toilets. The food was delicious. We had the cozy lunch menu which was lovely. I had the vegan sweet potato bahjis and the lemon and pea risotto followed by vanilla Ice cream! It was Great value for money! Lovely atmosphere. Staff were lovely and very happy to help. Will definitely go again!!!

Had a wonderful stay at The Belmore. We were upgraded at no extra cost which was a lovely surprise! Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Food was good quality and wide menu choice. Wonderful staff throughout the hotel from Reception to Waiting Staff. Excellent value for money and great location being 8 minute walk from Metro station. Would definitely recommend.

I will not stay anywhere else! The new reception is beautiful, the rooms are always clean and comfy. The food is amazing and so is breakfast. The bar is cosy, so nice in winter with the fire on! The team couldn’t do enough for you

Once again, disappointing, ordered a large fish n chips and a gourmet burger stack, the burger was ok, but the fish was really small for a large, I did question the staff as if they got the order wrong, but no apparently that was the large, hate to have seen the small!!!! Staff attitude a little on the pal, feller side, no pleasantry or niceness, if u know what I mean, all in all £78 not so good, drinks very expensive too, this is the 2nd time we’ve been and the 2nd time, not good for the cost, don’t get me wrong we have been quite a few times and I have previously left 5 star reviews but this time not so. Shame

Another very pleasant stay at this comfortable, friendly, convenient and excellent value for money hotel. Our third visit this summer. Quiet, comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast with friendly service and safe parking. Convenient to travel into central Manchester, via a short walk and a short tram ride. Air-conditioning in the rooms and some small fridges would be brilliant additions, but the former is likely to be part of the spec of the new ground floor rooms which should be available in the next few weeks. Will definitely stay again.

The surroundings are quite nice and we have had reasonably good meals in the past. However, on this occasion four of us went for Sunday Lunch and although most of it was quite good it was completely spoiled by the poor quality of the roast beef and the reaction of the manager when we complained. The beef was as tough as leather and the manager's reaction was to defend it and said, and I quote "well, that was only the outside slice from the joint". This was not the case and none of us ate the beef as it was quite obviously from a cheap cut of beef and badly cooked. We will not be returning, what happened to the old adage "The customer is always right"....?

Cannot fault this place been working away from home and staying here for 3 weeks. Staff are amazing so helpful and can’t do enough for ya. Manager is an absolute gent again very friendly and helpful. Foods amazing and rooms are lovely and in a nice area.

Went for Sunday lunch, I ordered Vegan roast, but said I was vegetarian on ordering and they changed the food to vegetarian. It was absolutely delicious and my friend ordered the turkey roast and his was delicious also. I had apple tarte tartan and ice cream, yummy but the portion was on the small size, my friend had Manchester tart, delicious also. Lovely waitress and nice atmosphere.

Oh dear what is happening in this restaurant. We have had lunch at The Belmore previously but on this occasion, which was, a Saturday lunchtime, the food was just not acceptable by any standards. It begs the question, who was in the kitchen, certainly not a chef ! Our party of five were staggered when two main courses of ‘The ‘Butterbean & Cauliflower Goan Curry’ arrived. Both plates of food were clearly quite cold and contained lumps of frozen vegetable - absolutely shocking and they obviously needed to be replaced but when fresh ‘curries’ arrived they were only just warm. A service of ‘Steak and JW Ale Pie’ was also Luke warm but in fairness the chips and mushy peas were hot ! Sorry, we won’t risk a return visit and will certain advise friends.

The wife and I had our wedding reception at The Belmore last August, so we obviously love the place, but circumstances meant we haven't been back for a meal since Christmas. Thankfully, we got the opportunity to correct that last week and the quality and standards are still as fantastic as ever. I had the Stilton mushrooms to start as I seriously can't get enough of them, they are so nice! For mains I had the Brewery Tower burger whilst my wife had the Cheese and Onion Pie and both were delicious, as they always are. The portions were spot on, the atmosphere refined and the staff couldn't do enough for you - thank you Dave and all the staff at The Belmore.

We arrived today at 12:30 for lunch, very warm friendly greeting from the staff member, seated and offered drinks, a choice of a lunch menu and a main menu, we hade the steak pie and partner had fish and chips, both beautiful, we will be back.

Three of us had lunch, after waiting 45 minutes for our meal nothing was hot, cold fish goujons, cold onion rings, luke warm steak/chips and apple crumble desert cold in the centre . All served on cold plates. After the Belmore being recommended to us, will not be visiting again sadly. The meals were replaced and enjoyable when served hot.

Tried to call in for a drink on NYE just before 10am and the place was closed. Nothing on website and nothing on door, just a guy inside waving to say that they are closed Suggest you use the website to advise customers when you are open otherwise it is a joke of a place to visit

Went for lunch this week with friends. Friendly welcome and shown to our table. Decided to have the lunch special, which was reasonably priced. When the waitress came to take the order, the 6oz steak wasn't available. I feel we could have been told this at the start as then I needed to make a rushed decision on what to have. (Hence the 4 star review and not 5) Food was very good and the service just right without being too intrusive. Would recommend a visit here.

On arrival we were informed about the fish of the day and steak not available. I ordered duck leg & pancakes for starter and was told that it was not available. I then asked for lamb shank for main course and was told "the meat is hard and chewy so not available". I chose salt & pepper squid to start and this was not pleasant, and the steak pie and mash for main. The mash was warm with a skin on it and the pie was tasteless and just warm. The pie had peas with it and I asked for no peas and was not offered a different vegetable. All in all not a good experience and expensive for the quality of the food.

We stayed here as a family in 2 rooms. Hotel excellent, comfortable, clean and at night lovely and quiet. The family room was especially good with plenty of room for a family with children. Would stay again.
