Brewers Fayre at The Coach House in Trafford

We had our last visit to the Coach House because it closes on 31st May 2023. We have been here several times over the years but had to come for our last lunch visit before it closes next week. Mind you we had enough points on our Bonus Club card to get a free bottle of wine, but we said our last farewell to the staff, especially Pippa & we hope she gets what she wants when the place closes. It does seem a shame to demolish this restaurant & the Premier Hotel just to extend the car park for the Trafford Centre.

Awful. There was hardly anyone in (and I think we understand why now) but we still had to wait for over an hour for our food. There was so much out of stock they had to give us a written list of exclusions with the menu, and yet we still had to make changes an hour after ordering because they ran out of more in the meantime. It eventually arrived in stages, so two had to eat their entire meal while the rest of us watched and waited even longer. My medium-rare steak was extremely rare, verging on blue. Two of my children ordered theirs medium, one came well done, the other bloody rare. But by then we were so hungry and couldn't risk having to wait even longer, so we just ate and tried not to think about it. No real attention from the staff, despite there being hardly anyone in. No explanation or apology for the delays. Oh, and we didn't even get our points. Never going back.

Went today 6 of us 3 small children a teen and two adults for breakfast. Wow what can I say Absolutely spotless buffet everything was fresh and all areas were the cleanest I have seen in this type of service l. The selection of food available was extensive from cereal and pancakes to a full English Unlimited tea and coffees even lattes. This was made even better by the deal in holidays meaning we only payed for the 2 adults!!!! I will be recommending it to all and will be our new go to for breakfast

Again, been there for our family meal, one of our favourite places to dine. Amazing choice on the menu and the portions sizes are very generous, but not too much. Staff are always very accommodating and helpful, plus they give it a very friendly and warm atmosphere. Needless to say we will be returning. Thanks guys.

Arrived at our hotel which is attached with a toddler at tea time to be told they was fully booked ( tables free all around) told we couldn't come in.....wouldn't even let us order a drunk or anything for toddler....went back to hotel at 5.55pm and checked online and was able to book for 6pm 🤣 Eventually ordered food which took around 20 mins after being ignored again by the rude waitress called Eva...... Food came out and was STONE cold.....sent it back.....waited another 15 mins for soup....we didn't eat any meals as all came out separate and was put off as all got sent back The sofa seating area was FILTHY!!! In fact the whole place had a funky smell Absolutely shocking service and we didn't eat our food.....got a refund and left..... Never known anything like it.....AVOID Needs closing down

The service was excellent and the food was good, chicken was succulent and was made to my liking and would definitely come again very soon

Well I decided to come with my mother, mum ordered smoothed chicken and I ordered the gammon and eggs, when the food came straight away on mum's plate the chips were over done, the chicken was hard to eat... The waitress did replace the chips but by time she came with a new portion the rest of meal was going cold. I've been here many times and today I was not impressed with the food or service today, I had to wait a good ten mins before I order my food but I understand busy Fridays but even so, anyway hopefully next time when I come back the food will be up to scratch, really wanted to treat my mum especially with me not getting that much time with me working nights. Not happy

We visited here at about 8pm on Sunday evening, after being let down by the other Premier Inn restaurant up the road. I was promptly & cheerfully greeted by two members of staff who agreed that we could have a table & found us one quickly close-by. We are a family of 4 (2+2) and 3 of us were eating. The guy on the bar was really friendly again when we ordered food & drinks. We were pleasantly surprised at how quick our meals came out, particularly because it was later in the evening, but we were so grateful as we’d had a long day & were all very hungry! The food was great, piping hot & tasty. Good value for money too. We didn’t stay for desserts as it was going on for 9pm & we had two kids with us. Will definitely visit here again! Might even stay in the attached hotel if we can. Definitely recommend!

Visited this restaurant for the second time. The overall opinion of the restaurant was nice atompshere, clean, friendly and great food the prices were more than reasonable and the food was amazing. We were greeted by a young well presented man who later, when asked confirmed his name was Ben. This man could not do enough for us and made the experience one where we will return.

Went for a family meal for the first time at the coach house and the food was amazing. We got seen to by Ben who was also amazing, he couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be returning soon.

Absolutely love this place! It's perfect for families as it has everything. The food is always delightful when we eat here and the deserts are amazing. The priceses are also very reasonable. What makes this place great is that it had a soft play centre for young children! It's quite large too, with a toddler area next to it. The fact that they have tables where you can order and eat from in the kids area means you can always keep your eyes on the little ones. I'd also like to point out that the staff there are always impeccable. Aways warm and welcoming, especially Suzie, who runs the soft play area Hats off to everyone involved here

We had a two course festive lunch, which was excellent value for money. Prawn cocktail (generous), Turkey and Ham hock pie (filling), staff very friendly and helpful. Really relaxed atmosphere, spacious establishment, no pressure to eat and run. Will recommend and be back.
