A beautiful hotel, with brilliant staff. The food is delicious with lots of choices. We have had a very comfortable and relaxing holiday at The Belmont, Sidmouth.

Beautiful place. Perfect position on the front in Sidmouth, moments from the beach with lifeguard station. Grand but very friendly. We had one of the cheaper rooms. Still, it was airy and spacious, with a partial sea view. Room service also very much appreciated.

Great location with the beach and the sea in front of the hotel. Our experience of the food in the Horizon restaurant was a mixed bag. The vegetarian options are good with sufficient choice but for me the vegetarian cottage pie was lacklustre in comparison to the other available dishes such as the cheese souffle. The rooms are well appointed with pleasant ensuit facilities. The staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Parking is available on site which is extremely helpful as is the addition of a disabled space nearest the reception entrance.

Had afternoon tea with a friend. Sat by the window with a view of the sea. Very comfortable, had a lovely time. I live in Sidmouth!

53 High StreetMy sister and I had the Cauliflower Shawarma Flatbread which was new to the menu. As we don’t eat meat this was a great veggie alternative. It was really delicious, bursting with lots of amazing flavours. We would definitely have that again next time! The staff were really friendly too and we sent our compliments to the chef. Bravo Boston Tea Party for a great lunch experience! Pippa & Sally

44 High Street, Budleigh Salterton EX9 6LQ EnglandGingerbread house cafe is a lovely local coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the high st, just up from the beach. I recently ordered a cream tea for two box to be delivered to my mother for her birthday as I live far away. She loved it, it was fresh and delicious and included sandwiches, scones, clotted cream and all the fixings, and she couldn’t have been happier to be surprised on her birthday with a friendly face and a special delivery. They are also very active in the community and offered free lunches for school kids during Covid. A great cafe!

Clyst HydonFabulous pub with great garden. We’ve been a couple of times for a drink and something to eat from one of the food trucks (they are not doing food from the kitchen yet!) pub looks great - everyone super friendly - what’s not to like !! Looking forward to seeing what food trucks popping up in September !! Hilary and Chris

4 Marine PlaceFantastic cafe. Amazing food, huge portions, great quality, very accommodating, with friendly, welcoming staff - can’t say enough good things. Best breakfast we’ve had in years and we’ll definitely be back, thankyou!
