The Bell Public House in Southend-on-Sea

My wife and I went to Toby Carvery, Prince Avenue. on Wednesday 17th July the service recived was A1, the lady who looked after us was Lynn, a very helpful and polite person I hope to see her again on our next vist.

Food good. Very efficient and pleasant service by our waitress Louise. Clean environment Had a very lovely Father’s Day lunch

5 star breakfast everything was cooked fresh. Even allowed to take the dog into the bar area. Very warm welcome by all of the staff

Just called in on spec for a spot of lunch with my wife and grand daughter. Food was excellent service was excellent , server was Lynn. I fully recommend this restaurant.

Louise was really helpful and friendly and made our visit really special. Thank you. Kids loved it. Food good. Happy days.

Got served by Lynette and made me feel like I was home after a long holiday. Love English food, love English people. Loved the Groupon discount. Toilets are normally clean and the chefs are usually very friendly.

Lynn was our Waitress and all good from service to food. We had offer vouchers which encouraged us to go for the meal. Lovely ice cream to finish with lovely lemon suace for me and toffee for hubby.

Service from Jasmine s was quick efficient and friendly. Mitch worked hard to carve for a very large que. Considering the time of day it was a very good meal.

Visited on Sunday - wasn’t busy and all staff seemed friendly. Our server Sydney made sure we got our drinks and took great care of us. Food was delicious and carver was very friendly.

Such a family feel restaurant. All staff are very welcoming. Great selection of fresh vegetables and great deserts. The restaurant is very clean and reasonably priced.

Great food and good value for money. Local to where I live and the service from Lynn was excellent friendly and offered a good service.

Today we was surved by lynn and as per usual her energy and professionalism was out the roof offering small cutlery for my daughter without asking was just so nice and friendly we always have a good laugh when she is working Deserves a massive pay rise THANK YOU LYNN ♥️

I visited today and I was overwhelmed with how the service was given by Kelsea she went above and beyond.. very friendly with a lovely smile! My server Kyle was also great; did me a good shout with giving me extra meat fat! All round 5* Keep it up 💪

Food was great. Kelsea our server was welcoming, polite and professional. Will be visiting again in the future for a lovely roast. Pigs in blankets were exceptional. Hats off to the chef.

Dreadful experience. They send out emails offering a midweek deal and then cannot cope. Waited 15 minutes after ordering drink and nothing arrived. No one took an order and I could hear other guests saying there was no food left so I departed.
