Stopped by this place today and I have to say I've never had a better experience in a coffee shop my entire life. I was having a bad day, and a worker named James greeted me with a warm smile and helped me with my order because I was stressed and unsure of what to get. The drink was amazing needless to say, and the setting was very relaxing.

Saba always makes my chocolate milkshake just right at BB’s Coffee and Muffins. It’s rich and creamy, the perfect treat with a coffee and baguette.

Hardworking staff. 5 star food and hygiene rating shows the food is safe to consumer in this place. Flat bread is delicious and number one for me so you must try that and also salmon bagel is if you feel like on healthier plan. Vegetarian flat bread pesto sauce and cheese is my favourite from this place.

Maliha is always cheerful and serves with care. The coffee and muffins are always top-notch.

Kate is wonderful at BB’s Coffee and Muffins. She’s always so welcoming, and the coffee she makes is always spot on. I look forward to my visits because of her great service.

Maliha** suggested I try the **chocolate milkshake** at BB's Coffee and Muffins. It was thick, chocolaty, and so satisfying. I’ll definitely order it again.

Had a lovely lunch here today. So many drink choices on the menu, significantly more than costa and starbucks (albeit similarly priced, but the drinks were nicer than starbucks in my opinion) I had a smoothie and a toastie and were both very good. Staff were nice a polite too.

Overcharged and the drinks did not resemble the picture or description they were gross.

Simple coffee shop food. No atmosphere as shops closed, very open area and cold on day of visit.

my tango was fine. they had no bloody ice , whole menu has drinks that require ice and these donkeys don’t even have any in their shop , piss take. dont come here they are crooks. outraged.

Lovely little cafe in The Royal in Southend. My daughter and I had a Tuna Panini and a cold drink, delightful staff, clean and recommend a visit.

Expensive for what you actually get !

Love the coffee served here. Former the best. Food good too. Plenty of choice snacks served well and very impressed by covid cleaning at this venue.

What can I say about this cafe, the first and only positive was the fact that staff where wearing masks, it all goes downhill from there, Firstly me and my partner ordered the pumpkin spiced latte’s, with toasted bacon and toasted cheese sandwich’s, we paid or so we thought, waited at the counter got our number and sat down, after a short time our food came out and the server informed me that we hadn’t paid, this was done in a indiscreet manner in front of other customers. We had also spent around a minute at the counter post paying and were not told that the payment hadn’t cleared until we had left the till (they prompted us to wait at the table without mentioning the payment failing) and went to our seat. After returning to the table the food was tasteless and cheap, the drinks were completely wrong and instead of pumpkin spice lattes we were given tropical milkshakes which had split and tasted sour, however at this point we decided to finish our food and leave. After being spoken to in a harsh and public tone regarding the money, we did not feel comfortable saying our drinks were wrong.

Nice coffee, they don’t charge extra for the soya milk. The seats are comfortable, I wish there were a bit more vegan food options, but overall a nice experience.

Very nice muffins. Asked for medium size coffees but got small.

Absolutely appalling - I stopped for a quick drink and a sandwich and was presented with this sloppy mess inside the packaging. No point in saying anything further

I drive here from Rochford simply because their coffee is really, really good. The food, snacks ect are great too. But the coffee is a real treat.

Love this place, the mocha is amazingly great and the customer service from the manager especially is extremely good. If the sandwich I want isn't made and on the shelf he will prepare it whilst I wait and the sandwiches are so good

The server behind the counter ignored me completely when I got his attention he RELUCTANTLY took my order practically threw my coffee at me and audibly swore under his breath when I had the temerity to order a cake as well. 1 star because I can't do 0.

Very poor service the cheese salad baguette was like rubber not fresh at all. Over priced and VERY poor quality and service. Won't be going there again.😖

Great position outside Debenhams. Lots of muffins to choose from as well as other snack and lunchtime food. Usually quite busy. They have a loyalty card scheme too.

When we visit the Royals Shopping centre & browse we always pop into BB's for a break & a nice cup of coffee & a muffin or two & sit & watch the world go by, you cant beat it, great way to spend some time.

Nice food but not great service. When I placed my order the guy didn’t even look at me. Not impressed on that aspect, but otherwise some nice food (a bit pricey though).

Coffee is nice and their muffins look great. Sandwiches are a bit light on the filling. Not the cheapest place in town but usually has seats available.

This was one of January's coldest days, as I walked along the seafront. BB's is located in the shopping mall, brightly laid out, and the coffee was expertly served by a pleasant young man. The wi-fi connection was good, and therefore helpful as I enjoyed the coffee before setting out into the wild, wintry weather - but almost an hour later, which was a testament to the pleasant nature of this place.

Prime location in the heart of the shopping centre, friendly staff, good selection of food and drink for a quick stop.

Good service, nice coffee and very large slices of chocolate cake - what more do you want when trying to fuel up before a trip down the seafront with a 2 year old?
