Introduced to the Bell Inn by my sister-in-law and her family for the Sunday carvery. This was absolutely delicious, fresh home cooked food in a great atmosphere. Particularly lovely was the Yorkshire puddings, stuffing and crackling. The crackling especially was brain rattling good! An easy recommendation to anyone visiting Brixham or for local residents looking for a nice place to eat and drink

What a hidden goldmine. Absolutely superb carvery in spotlessly clean restaurant. Staff were so accommodating and friendly. Food was of the highest quality. Highly recommended.

Just passing for a couple of drinks and they had room for us for a Sunday carvery. Staff friendly and amazing! Service excellent. Looked after our two kids and the food was one of the best carverys I have ever had. Very clean and well organised. Well done to all the staff! we have booked again for next week. Got a takeaway carvery, meet portion was small, staff were unfriendly and impolite, I wasn’t aloud to get my own food, was dished up for me, staff drinking a pint behind the bar. Wouldn’t go again!!!

Called in to this hidden gem for a carvery, I'd read the reviews & omg it lived upto it's 5 out of 5 rating if we could have given it a 10 we would have done, it's the best Sunday roast we have had & that includes formal meals. The place is spotlessly clean & the decor beautiful & the staff absolutely lovely, it's just a 15mins walk out of Brixham centre. Put it on your list you won't be dissapointed. Thanks.

Very friendly staff, beautifully kept Inn. The Sunday lunch was to die for, expertly cooked meats and vegetables. My eyes were bigger than my belly (as my mom used to say) I filled my plate to capacity, and then some. I nearly licked the plate clean!!! Forgot to mention, A BARGIN.

Sunday lunch at The Bell is a wonderful experience. A warm welcome, great surroundings, helpful staff and best of all, delicious food at a very reasonable price. We have visited with family and friends and all have been pleased with the restaurant. Thank you to all of you.

The best carvery in Torbay. The carvery is served in a beautifully converted barn with beamed roof and mezzanine behind the pub. When we went 5 meats were available (from which we could choose two). We had beef lamb and pork all of which were excellently cooked (slightly pink in middle). There was also turkey and gammon. The crackling perfect. Huge selection of fresh veg, including crispy roasties, dauphinoise, creamed swede, carrots, cabbage. Yorkshires and stuffing. The hosts were friendly and relaxed. For sweet there was a choice of two home-made cheesecakes (orange or peanut butter). My orange cheesecake was light and beautifully citrusy. Very modern clean wash rooms. At £10.95 for the roast and £4.45 for sweets it is amazing value. Great job. We will come again.

We came with my extended family, including a toddler and someone with dietary needs. They were AWESOME. All our needs were catered for. The food was delicious and plentiful. To find a place that serves such good food at a reasonable price in this age of "austerity" was a delight. Will recommend to anyone who loves a good carvery.

We visited yesterday for a carvery. WOW! It was spotless, the carvery was to die for. Quite possibly the most delicious food I’ve ever had out & it’s homemade to top it off! The 3 ladies in there were absolutely lovely, so welcoming and attentive. They all made a big fuss of my 2 year old and nothing was too much trouble. It’s a shame they’re 120 miles away or we’d be there every Sunday. We will definitely be returning and will base all of our holidays around the delicious carvery! Omg! The first carvery to offer lamb and it was cooked to perfection! Couldn't decide so had beef as well! Both melt in your mouth,the accompaniments or veggies etc perfect!! Garlic "dauphinois" sublime ,plates couldn't hold enough! Blown away!!!atmosphere lovely ,staff amazing.thank you

Amazing carvery, meat was spot on and massive range of veg. The creamy garlic potatoes were amazing. Home made pudding range was good, white chocolate brownie was epic!

The Sunday carvery is absolutely amazing! All fresh home cooked food which you can tell has been made with love! This is a hidden gem and so glad we found it. Such a friendly welcoming place and we are always made to feel welcome even with our baby. No complaints atall, it's family run and we look forward to going here every time. Great local pub. Went for Sunday lunch after a recommendation from a friend and we were not disappointed. A wide choice of meats and vegetables all home cooked and really delicious. Staff were also great and extremely welcoming and we will definitely be back.

The only place in town where you can catch all the live football, cricket and rugby, play a game of pool for just 20p, and enjoy cheap premium lager. Ran by two lovely publicans who also put on a great carvery each week.

We booked the function room for a 50th birthday party. Asked Wendy (the landlady) to put on a Caribbean themed feast (no beige buffet here!) Omg she pulled out all the stops! Authentic goat curry, rice and peas, Jerk chicken, a Caribbean coleslaw to literally die for! Cold meats and breads. Needless to say, everyone was blown away but the effort, taste and presentation! Thank you. The party was a great success and that was down to everyone involved 😘😘😊

This is the second year that Harold and I have visited for a Sunday lunch. I have never had better anywhere anytime. Absolutely excellent Sunday carvery. Best to book in advance. Sometimes and occasionally a walk-in is available.

Usual excellent quality Sunday dinner but unfortunately spoiled by large noisy group with bored children wandering around. Not entirely the pubs fault or indeed the children's, although the tables are squashed in and the middle table was rammed along with an additional baby chair, so having large groups does not work well in this space if there are children. (again not the children's fault) I have been in the past and will certainly go again because the food is excellent.

Myself and the Mrs found this place whilst having a long weekend down in brixham camping, they ðo the carvery upstairs in a lovely converted loft area,quirky but nicely decorated. The carvery was stunning..a great selection of home made quality veg and 4 meats on offer..it really was lovely, and the added bonus of a selction of puddings and deserts for afters,will definitely go back when next in brixham

Have lived in Brixham for many years but I would never have known the Bell did carvery’s like this. Fantastic choice of four different meats (all cooked to perfection ie. not incinerated ) and a massive choice of well cooked vegetables. You would go a long way to beat it. Thank you so much.

We’ve been to The Bell on many occasions for Sunday carvery and we’ve never been disappointed. The food really is 2nd to none. As it’s a carvery you help yourself, so it’s as much as you can put on your plate if you’re that way inclined, and people do, but it’s not very often you see any waste! The ingredients are all locally sourced and prepared and cooked on the premises by local people, who are helpful and friendly. Can thoroughly recommend The Sunday Carvery and if you haven’t got time to eat there, they will prepare a takeaway for you, what more can you ask.
