We go to Tring because of the village atmosphere and have been to the Bell a few times now. Staff are lovely. Atmosphere is good and food is tasty. The chips are awesome!!!

Good pub food, amazing service. We asked for an item on the menu, and the waiter came back saying that the chef was not happy with the raw ingredients and did not feel comfortable making it. That was great service, and we ordered something else :)

We popped in here after being rudely turned away from the Crows Nest, Beefeater. What a difference! Friendly welcome, helpful, chatty staff and an excellent Sunday Roast. We are not local, but would definitely visit again when next in the area. Thank you.

Went as our first choice for food, the Robin Hood, didn't do food, only on a Wednesday evening. The pub was nice and the food well presented and good. Staff nice.

The Bell in Tring was kind enough to host my Baby Shower last weekend. Alberto and his team were fantastic helping to plan and organise the event, which accommodated 35 people. The event was hosted in a private section of the pub/restaurant which gave it an intimate feel. Chris the head chef was amazing and made sure that there was plenty of delicious food that the guests absolutely loved! It was exactly what I had asked for! If you are looking to host a private event I would highly recommend The Bell, there is also a beautiful garden which you can use for your event! Thank you to The Bell for a beautiful day !

Third visit. Staff are friendly and attentive. Food is good, plentiful. Beer, Farr Brewery, is very good and well kept. Overall a friendly pub well worth a visit and now so much better than the venues reputation of old.

The best Sunday roast ever! It’s raining, it’s cold in Tring but. …..the Bell has just made my day. It was perfect. We will be back! Forgot to mention - the background music was brilliant. Was foot tapping throughout.

Popped in with some friends on a Saturday night. It's a nice pub to sit and chill out with friends, also they have sports on the TV. The bar staff are friendly.

Nice old pub in the centre of the town. A couple of different ciders on tap. We felt it however needs a bit of tidying up so not the best atmosphere, could be really nice inside with better décor. Dog friendly which is always a bonus.

I had originally aimed to go to a different pub in the area but that one seemed quite rowdy at the time. Popped into the Bell for some grub and was pleasantly surprised. Star of the show was the salted caramel ice cream!

This is a recently refurbished town pub where they have done a good job - affiliated to Farr Brewery, I believe. Food is excellent: varied menu and good portions. Excellent choice of beers: Farr brewery selection terrific. Fairly large and pleasant beer garden at rear. There is plenty of free parking nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Had a really nice meal with good service. Music was a tad loud so conversation slightly difficult abd area round the back of the bar could be tidier

Food was tasty, staff were friendly apart from when we walked in - 3 different people ignored us but this seems to be the normal these days - but once we had been acknowledged the staff were lovely. I found it very expensive for what we have, the starters were expensive for a very small amount of food. For a couple, we paid £70 for a starter, roast and a bowl of ice cream - which personally I think is a lot for a pub lunch. I know pubs are struggling but it's just not affordable for people these days. There were good menu choices for vegetarians and children.

It's had time to settle under the new regime and it's worth a visit. Food isn't spectacular but ok. Beer isn't spectacular but ok. Service isn't spectacular but ok. So you can see where I'm at. Good, and friendly and convenient. But not great. Edit. Sorry. I'd posted the wrong pint picture and the owner rightly picked me up on this. Correct photo now attached. Brixton lager @ £6.20 a pint.... Ouch 😭

I came at the bell totally randomly, after a night spent in an hotel in Tring, I am so glad I came here. This is the best pub food that I tried after 5 years living and exploring England !!

Been here many times since they opened! It's so different from what the bell used to be. And that's a good thing! Before it was a bit run down, grotty and unfortunately attracted the wrong people. NOW it's fantastic, clean and Friendly! Great, knowledgeable staff, fantastic food. Zero complaints!

Food ordered - ploughman’s really poor value and scant amounts given. Ate it but would never recommend. Very poor. Service a bit hit and miss but when we had attention it was very good. Staff may be congregating for a reason but customer service is priority I’m sure? Tea pot 1/2 filled so we asked for more water then realised a big crack in the first tea pot, pointed it out to team member. We had a good time and are pleased we tried the Bell but I would not recommend or come back.

Very cozy atmosphere giving the typical British Pub feeling. Service was great and so was the food. The chicken wings we ordered were awesome and so was the fish & chips. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
