The fish tasted really bad and it had a massive bone all the way up the middle of it, meaning there wasn’t much fish left either. I would like my money back for the fish pls. We are really disappointed.

BEWARE order was taken and the delivery never arrived the driver was messaging me via the justeat messenger and said he went to the wrong place then he asked me for the code so he can put the address in again so I gave him the code then he put the order delivered which it was not so everyone beware never give your code to the driver via text I am not happy about this at all spoke to justeat and they was not helpful 1 little bit

The fish is beautifully cooked .

Food is not hot when it arrived

The size of the meals were very small

really greasy, soggy and pickled gherkin was sliced placed in a small paper bag which soaked through so they all fell out when trying to remove from bag

Food was cold, kebab meat was stale, sausage was hardly battared

Could not eat any of the food as all had a really odd taste also batter on sausage not cooked

Delivery time was absolutely the worst I have ever experienced, they took my money then kept adjusting the delivery time. When the food eventually arrived it was Luke warm at best, not sure I shall be using JUST EAT again!

today i ventured into the local chippie, i walked in the shop and was greeted by a beautiful young man called mohsin. he politely asked me about my day while i decided what i wanted and then let me try his new creation “halloumi fries” (they was peng asf) dank restaurant, would go again anyday.

I ordered a delivery today 2nd july 2024 on arrival stone cold chips look like they have been cooked more than once no tartare sauce with scampi worse food ive ever had would not recommend

My favourite chippy in Hemel. Cod is great, as are the chips. Friendly and welcoming service.

The food was really greasy which made it horrible to eat, the chips had no salt or vinegar on them (there was no option to ask) so they were very disappointing, I remember when this was the best fish and chips in Hemel and now I would say it’s gone massively downhill, will definitely not be ordering from here again.

I’m a little disappointed about the food - no fried Oreo’s - no mush peas - the fish wasn’t the best - the burger & saveloy was very tasty - the chips where cold - the fried jammy dodgers were lovely!

Brilliant quality always, and they pay attention to the delivery notes.

Not ONE single chip could be found. Not one! A portion of scraps fit only for the bin - where they went. Completely inedible. Shocked that any restaurant would send out such a disgusting item. Meal equated to £18.20 for a piece of cod. This is not the honest way to run a business. .

We now oreder SpringRoll twice thinking maybe the first time it was an error, but the spring rolls are always frozen on inside. It is extremely concerning that a simple spring roll can not be cooked correctly!

Disappointed as food not made to order. Had clearly been sitting in the box for a while as fish was dry and batter not crispy. Chips okay. Battered sausage pretty inedible. Friendly service though!

'Just Eat' did not deliver our order! I called to check my delivery as the status was marked 'Delivered'. I received the best service from Lawn Lane staff, they offered to redo my order and delivered it personally to our door. Highly recommended Lawn Lane Fish & Chips. THANK YOU!

Asked for delivery at 1700. At 1725 website was still saying "waiting for update", so rang the restaurant. Just Eat had not allocated a driver. The restaurant contacted Just Eat & the food finally arrived at 1742. Cannot fault the food as usual it was hot & delicious.

could not eat chips because vinegar was put on them. i cannot eat food with vinegar on it. it would otherwise have been 5 stars as the chips looked great and fish was beautul could not eat chips as vinegar was put on them. i cannot stand the smell or taste of vinegar .the chips looked great quality and quantity. would have otherwise rated meal 5 stars. Cod was beautiful, moist and fresh. Roe was rather soft almost wet. Not good. Overall an excellent shop, would use again - minus the vinegar..

The plaice was so bad. It honestly tasted and felt like an oily eraser. It was wrapped in about 3 or 4 layers of paper and it was soaked through with oil. Some of the worst fish I’ve ever had. The girkins - well its a girkin, you cant really mess that up. Chips were ok.

Well 5 minutes late but super hot and fresh lovely!

Only gripe was that there was no option to select the drink for the kids meal and we were sent a can of fizzy pop for a 7 year old.

Visiting my cousin and had cod and chips very high quality fish and service they do in there thank you guys

Ordered one cod and chips, one cod, onion rings and a saveloy. Both pieces of fish were barely fried and seem to have been dropped into the fryer before the oil was to a proper temp as they had turned to mush inside. The chips suffered nearly the same fate as they were anaemic and bland, the onion rings were mushy too. The saveloy was okay. However everything arrived cold to the touch, the last time I ordered from here I got sent a pie that was still frozen on the inside Avoid at all costs

My daughter and myself Absolutely love the Cod bites and chips from here.
