Had a lovely meal at the bell. Was served by the lovely Grace who was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely outdoor garden with a play area, ideal for Cosford Airshow next week. Will be back soon

Had a great girlie lunch here, we haven’t been for a while and the menu has changed which was great, the food was delicious and Tamara looked after us well so all in all a fab afternoon.

Had a lovely meal and was served by the wonderful Grace! Took part in the quiz afterwards which was very fun and won a great prize of £10 off my next meal or drinks for coming second!

Visited The Bell with friends. Pub is ideally situated on the main road, easy to find. Plenty of parking at the front and rear, with electric charging points. The building is well maintained and clean. You are greeted with a warm welcome and we were shown to out table in the conservatory. Sadly, it was raining, bit it was still a lovely place to eat. The menu was excellent, even a set lunch menu. We ordered BBQ Chicken sandwich and Fish Finger Sandwich, both with chips. Service was very efficient and quick. The food was fresh, well presented and tasted delicious. We were not rushed and the staff were very attentive. An excellent lunch, well priced in lovely surroundings. Thank you Leah and Tamara, first class service. We will return.

Went on bank holiday Monday very busy but excellent food and service

My latest visit didn't start very positive! We were seated in the conservatory area which was a bit on the cool side unfortunately. We did ask to be moved and we were. The meal was lovely but the service was a little slow unfortunately. I appreciate Sunday's can be very busy.

As soon as we walked in were greeted by a young man ( sorry didn’t get his name). He was smiley, welcoming and professional. He showed us to our table. Leah looked after us , helped with some of our food decisions. She was friendly, helpful and professional throughout - always with a smile on her face . There were five of us and all of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The menu choice is excellent. The girl who served our meals was also pleasant and smiling. The Bell has a lovely ambience and we would definitely return again. This was the second time we had visited as a group . The staff are great ambassadors for The Bell - thank you.

Was using the bell for years then went down hill after my last 3 visits recently the food is fantastic beer is great love sitting in the beer garden with food and the children enjoying them selves A star will be returning

Called for a pint of inches cider £6.70 pence a pint It's not London and dried up dog mess in the gardens not great

Pleasantly welcomed and had fabulous service from Leah, Tamara, Grace, Harvey and Elisha today. Went out for wedding Anniversary drinks with family in the very attractive and beautifully clean and tidy Beer garden. Service was quick and efficient and we will definitely be returning, a lovely afternoon was had by all.

I recently visited this incredible restaurant and was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect setting for a special night out. The service was outstanding—our waitress, Leah, was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the evening. She gave great recommendations and made us feel truly looked after. The real highlight, though, was the food, which absolutely deserves its five-star rating. Every dish was full of flavour and perfectly cooked, thanks to the amazing chefs, Mathew and Jake. You can really tell they care about what they do. Overall, this restaurant delivered on every level—five stars for food, service, and atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The food was appalling. We had the Trio of meats for the Sunday lunch. The meat was all grey, no flavour and the prices of the "sides" was extortionately expensive for what was served. £1.50 for a tiny pot of gravy!!!!! Maybe the pub grub is better...I truly hope so

Very disappointed ☹️ So, ordered food around 2 in the afternoon. Had to wait for nearly 50 mins for food to arrive at what seemed to me like quite a quiet day, not busy at all. Food begins to come out so starting with my prawn cocktail, very tasteless, no seasoning and had to ask the waitress for butter. Cheese burger followed and again disappointed. Burger was over cooked and was accompanied by a very small side of fries. Where is the imagination on my plate? For the prices you charge, where's my onion rings? Nothing that arrived at our table was worth waiting for. Overpriced, poor quality, won't be back

Heading from Leicester to Liverpool and this little gem was a perfect stop off for a beautiful cappuccino to perk us up. Didn't eat here but bar snacks and menu was very tempting. P.S. Bourbon bicky with a cappuccino is 100% a great shout....thanks Cleo xx

Lovely food, lovely service, lovely atmosphere 10/10.

The best pie I've ever eaten in a pub!

We went for a work lunch. The place was decidedly busy but the atmosphere was great. The service was spot on. The bar and table staff were brilliant. The only issue we had was with the mixed grills. We had 2 rare and one medium. The rare ones were well done and the medium one was like shoe leather. The other dishes; a burger and fish finger sandwich were good. Overall we were happy and will go back.

Broke a journey home here yesterday and enjoyed a really nice meal and drink. This is a nicely presented pub with a good bar area and lots of seating for dining, the smart decor sets it all off. The bar is well stocked including a wide choice of alcohol free drinks for the driver. Greeting was very pleasant and friendly and we were quickly shown to our table. There's a good choice on the menu and prices were very reasonable. Both the bar and table service from Cleo and Tamara was excellent, prompt and very friendly and the food service was quick. Glad to report that the meals were also excellent, well presented, piping hot and very tasty. Looks like I will be breaking another journey or two at the Bell whenever I'm out this way. Thanks guys

Not only a refreshing pint of Old Mout cider, a lovely lamb meal too. And they even went the extra mile for me by helping me out with an unusual request. Thank you everyone at the Bell Inn for looking after me.

Had a lovely day out with the family. We came in on Sunday afternoon without booking a table hoping there would be one for us. We were attended to promptly and very politely by your lovely staff member lily. We were seated on a beautiful table in the restaurant and received fast and friendly service by another member of staff who bought out our drinks. The food came out very quickly with no wait time and it was beautiful, definitely worth the price!! The roast dinners are exeptional and my partner said that the steak was cooked to perfection. Lily made us feel very welcome as a family alongside the other staff members who we could see were clearly busy attending to all the customers. It's nice to see staff enjoying their job and taking pride in what they do. Thank you for an amazing meal and top notch service!! 👌🏻

Called in after a visit to RAF Cosford having never been before. Absolutely gorgeous meal, great value, nice atmosphere and service was spot on.

We visited as a family of four for Sunday lunch, the trio of meat roast was absolutely delicious! Great portion size and really well cooked and presented. The kids meals were great too. The meals came out quickly too which is always great when with kids. Thank you to Lily for the great service as well! We will definitely visit again in the future!

Went in for an early dinner the other night and was served by a lovely lady who was on by herself. Unfortunately we watched her having to man the whole pub by herself during an hour and a half long rush while several members of staff sat outside having a meeting. While it is understandable meetings are necessary, it would also be good practice to check on the working staff rather than sitting on phones and vaping; or have a long meeting at another time. We just felt sorry for the lady who was by herself but she remained professional and friendly throughout our visit and managed to maintain a high level of service.

Was recommending this pub by friends and we don't really try new places but I am so glad we did. We had a waitress called Danielle who served us from beginning to end. She even told us about upcoming events at the bell and we cannot wait for the dog walk to be live. She was so helpful with recommending drinks to go with meals and she even recommended the best pub pie, it was definitely the best pub pie! Thank you danielle for making our experience a good one

Mostly here to sat 5* for Cleo, probably the best ever customer service I've received when approaching the bar in any pub. The dinner I had was overall really surprisingly good and tasty, the inside is well furnished and I'd have no qualms about coming back. It seems popular with families and it caters to them, so if you prefer a very quiet place like me this might not be 100% perfect for you, but it's still very nice and has a warm and welcoming feel.

Nice food but disappointed with the pie and lamb combo, pie was less that 2" across and you only get about 8 potato cubes for £24.50, I did advise our server and she said that everyone has complained

From start to finish the service was fantastic. We love coming here for food as there is so much choice on the menu. We all had starter , main and desserts , which we all really enjoyed . Complements to the chef. It was outstanding. One of the desserts we ordered had just sold out , but not a problem we just picked another one. We always enjoy every visit but this one will be one to remember! We look forward to our next visit. Thank you!

Wonderful garden and inside, nice service. But unfortunately food was too expensive for what it is. I got like 10 chips to my meal which was £15, I left a bit hungry. Food itself was nice but definitely not worth the money. I know economy is getting worse so as prices, but unfortunately I won’t be going back there for food.

Party of 5 seated at our table, we asked if we could order drinks was told someone would be over, 20mins later still nothing, went to get staff said they would come over, eventually got drinks in, we ordered our food then 15 mins later asked if we could have some more drinks was told someone will be with us, our food came 1 in the party only got part of his mixed grill, the remainder followed after 15 mins by the time he had nearly enough finished his meal, then we were asked about drinks our glasses were empty, we ordered & they took 15 mins to get, we had all finished our food we would have expected to have at least 4 drinks in the space of 2 1/2 hrs, service for both drinks & food was atrocious

Great place for some delicious, fairly priced food. We have been here a few times and will continue to come back. The chicken burger and best ever pie was delicious. Our waitress Leah was polite and attentive.

Lunchtime visit with the grandchildren warm greeting from Clio food was spot on kids ate everything .All the staff were friendly quick service would recommend .

I recently visited this restaurant and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the lasagna, which was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Been here a few times. We love it. Lovely layout and decor. Well presented and lots of choice. They have the best selection of non-alcoholic drinks we've found. Served by a lovely lady too, which always makes a difference.

Had the same experience the last time we visited. Was told when after we ordered drinks that the grill wasn't working, so nothing better cooked on the grill. All 4 of us ordered alternatives, only to be told that some of the other items were not available. Being told that over the weekend was busy, and delivery was not due till tomorrow. SO WE LEFT. Had to pay for our drinks first which was not a problem BUT...... Being short of food yes may be an excuse, but not really, may the Bell should try a limited menu on Mondays/Tuesdays I

Looked great on website, however wait was very long which is ok if food is good. The food wasn't good, pastry on pie was hard and overcooked, vegetables where practically invisible, 1 slice of carrot, a few mange toute and that was it ,not value for the price's they charge. 3 of the items where not available so that was not good either.Will not be returning.

Visited last night to try new menu only positive is the 30% of mains. We waited an hour and half for our food; lack of communication from staff and when food arrived was cold and over cooked very poor quality; pub was empty and was told wait was due to people in beer garden ordering on qr code very poor the food here use to be lovely very disappointing

Arrived on a very busy evening but staff very accommodating, kept us informed of meals progress. Food up to scratch and freshly cooked. Staff were diligent in keeping us topped up with drinks. Found Leah, Lily, Harvey, Jack and Craig to be especially friendly and helpful. Would definitely book again.

Stopped in for lunch while driving through on a long drive. Lovely staff, good range of beer and ale, and very reasonably priced food that hit the spot Looks like there's plenty of events through the week, as well as board games around for people to play

Visited The Bell Inn for a meal after a glorious day out in the Spring Sunshine. First impressions when I entered were very favourable with pleasant surroundings and helpful staff. Ordered from the main menu, a mixed grill, and although very enjoyable and hot, alas it was not enough for me, as I enjoy a hearty meal! I also sampled a pint of Neck Oil which I thoroughly enjoyed but OH DEAR not at £6.75 a pint! I know the Pub trades are struggling to survive in this ever inflating World we live in, which is spiralling out of control,but to charge that amount for a pint of beer is creeping up to London prices which I think is a no no in my book unfortunately!! Would I visit the Bell Inn again...... probably not as it's expensive to dine out, with all things considered and I think the customer needs to be thought of, concerning value for money!!

We booked a table for 8 people for last Saturday lunchtime. Two nembers of staff were chatting at the desk we said we had booked we were told it's the table round the corner snd carried on their conversation. The table and stools were so high I had difficulty getting onto the seat. My Granddaughter was below the tablebtop when seated!! The table was right by the men's very smelly toilet. We were told we couldn't change tables. No one came for our drinks or food order. After waiting for 20 minutes with no one serving us we all walked out and drove to a venue in Newport where we had 1st class attention and food. We have been to the Bell several times and had good service and good food but we won't be going again. What happened to the friendly attentive staff who used to work at the Bell???

The food is excellent and so is the service

Really dissapointed, starter was bought to us no offer of cutlery, condiments or napkins. We we then left 1/2 hour before the mains were bought to us. Starter plates not taken away, my pie was burnt, no honeyed carrots just hard and burnt ones. Kale non existing, mangetout grey ( overcooked), no French beans just some over cooked garden peas. Whitebait starter no lemon and overcooked, wouldn't mind but it wasn't even busy. Was on my way into Market Drayton on business and looked like an idyllic place to eat. Looks are obviously deceiving next time will eat back in Baslow ( Peak District)

Wow, what a place, one of the best Marston's pubs I've been too, whilst the menu is the same the quality and presentation here is second to non. A warm welcome greeted us, the guy behind the bar was actually a chef but his customer service was amazing and was very attentive, the dog enjoyed his treats and water and the extra fuss he got. I had signature burger without the bun as usual, but the chef recommended a fried egg on top, this elevated the taste and will definitely be doing in future, We went about 4pm and it was quiet but come 5pm it started to get busy. This is a definite must visit if your in the area and I can't fault it at all

This is definitely overpriced crap food. The food that was put I front of us was a joke there wasn’t more than 10 chips each, I had a gf burger assuming it would have been a gf bun. No it was 2 burgers on the top of a wilted piece of lettuce with a few chips that was it, for £18 that’s disgusting! The taste of all the meals wasn’t great. Didn’t complain just wouldn’t ever go back. It’s ridiculous how much they charge for the food they’ve just served us: We went due to the reviews but I felt the need to set the record straight that it’s terrible.

Very welcoming with excellent service from the staff. Food was superb and perfectly cooked. Different from many other dining pubs.

Surroundings were great inside the pub, the staff were very friendly and attentive, but service was very slow and several people around us had their drinks orders forgotten. The main meals were really disappointing considering the money we paid. The steak duo consisted of a small pie (about the size of a mince pie) and two very small pieces of steak, which were well done rather than served pink as we were told they were. There was also a meager portion of veg with a small pot of very watery gravy. Based on the quality and quantity of the food compared to restaurants nearby that serve much better for the same or less, I wouldn't re-visit or recommend this to anyone else. This is a shame as with the surroundings and friendly staff, if the food was good, this could be a really nice place to go.
