Dropped on with a few friend's after an early evening walk.Refreshing that it's still a pub,no food, kids but dogs and wife's welcome.I was welcomed by a very attractive young lady,Tracy I think her name was.She made us feel very welcome She finished her shift and the landlord who was a bit grumpy to start but cheered up when he saw the size of our bill. It's great to see that there still pubs of the this nature open and vibrant.5 stars for me Terry

So visited this place twice now, first day I was served by who I assume was the landlady, no conversational skills and just kind of grunted and smiled, second time I was met by who I assume to be the landlord who was grumpy, brash, rude and obnoxious, no communication skills whatsoever, who just barked about kids not being allowed in, I wouldn't mind because rules are rules but the manner in which it was done was uncalled for. What I've deduced from this pub is that locals and regulars are treated like gods, and any passing trade is revered as simply nothing more than a nuisance. It's a shame because it's on lovely walking trail. The good thing about this pub is its unchanged and retains its charm as a country pub unspoilt by the modern world, to be honest, that's the only reason i gave it two spots, it hasn't been swallowed up into the corporate chains selling standard pub grub, doesn't have a menu at all, just few old school style pub snacks served later in the week and hasn't been renovated to have the same one size fits all decorating concept the chain pubs have. This is the type of pub I'm usually pretty attracted to. This pub shouldn't change materialistically, maybe a small kitchen to do some simple food on a regular basis and attract a few more customers by doing it well, however, if you look round the pub you'll find a hand pull with the date 1999 and the landlords name, it would appear they've been there a while, I think they're operating style is outdated and although would be missed by their locals I think for the benefit of the business they should step aside and let someone else with ability to talk and serve customers in a more befitting manner take the helm and move the pub forward.

Came here for vinyl night with friends a few months ago had a great night, the pub was packed with locals the drinks were reasonably priced, trying to get here is a nightmare as for a few hundred yards of potholes.

We arrived with dogs and a baby and were told in a very offhand way that children were not allowed - well, we accept places have rules, but would like these to be relayed in a pleasant way. Rules is rules, but manners are manners and were sadly lacking. Definitely one to avoid.

Almost like this place has been forgotten in this world. Looks like the interior hasn't changed since it was opened. Great location tucked away at the start of walk.Set in the woods... great potential for a lovely country style pub but could do with some TLC..

ケーキやタルトで有名な老舗チェーン店。紅茶はポットにたっぷり、イギリスの水のせいかとても濃くて美味しい。サーブもてきぱきとしていて気持ちよかったです。

drinks were absolutely phenomenal, staff were lovely, however there were builders screaming and swearing and throwing tools on the floor when we visited. i of course understand that the staff cannot help what other people do but there was no effort to ask them to quiet down or even to just lay off the swearing as there were a number of young children in the cafe and it was incredibly unpleasant. i usually really like this place but im disappointed with my recent visit and id recommend sticking to the costa in redhill town centre if you can.

I had a free coffee token so wanted to try something different, but didn't want to go too high calorie. The lady was able to recommend a few options and I went with the Haze Maple Latte, which was real good.

A thoroughly enjoyable brunch with my wife in recent weeks at this cafe, and their poached eggs and omelettes are very tasty. I/we will be returning to try other items on their menu, especially their chicken curry and rice.
