Mi sono fermato con la famiglia per il pasto e mi ha attirato il loro menù e il locale. Devo dire che la fortuna mi ha baciato ed abbiamo consumato un pasto eccezionale , ottimo il cibo e le birre , vivamente consigliato l’haggis tradizionale davvero buonissimo, ottimo anche il fish and chips. Personale gentile e premuroso.

Excellent food and beer, with very good service, having booked a table for Sunday lunch time. We chose our drinks and all of had the steak and chips, this was my first visit and didn't realise you could get another steak and chips if you wanted. The steak and chips were excellent as was the small complimentary sample of Innis and Gunn beer matured in whisky barrels. I thought it was excellent value for money and definitely highly recommend and hope to return soon.

My dad and I had a great day at the Innis & Gunn Edinburgh Brew School experience! James was our awesome guide for the day. He was friendly, approachable, and very passionate to share his knowledge about beer and the company. Nothing was a problem and he was very attentive. The Brew School started at 10am and it was great to have the bar to ourselves for a couple of hours before opening as normal to the public. We shared the day with two other groups of two. Everybody got on well, which made the day very relaxed. It was smart to use the company's brewing kit called The Grain Father. James coached us through the fundamentals that lie behind creating beer. He gave us insights into specific beer styles, flavour profiles and the little tips and tricks that can make all the difference to the brewing process. It was a very hands on experience that everybody got involved with. All levels of experience are clearly welcome. A flight of four beers, a hearty lunch (choice of burgers or mac and cheese), and a schooner of beer broke up the day very nicely! James was also on hand to provide beer samples throughout the experience. Overall, it was a great day of brewing our own beer and sampling lots of Innis & Gunn beers in a relaxed setting. I would definitely do it again and recommend it to anybody who has an interest in the brewing process!

Excellent bar with a great selection of beers. Went for a couple on a Friday night and there was some live music too. The venue is clean and well kept had a great atmosphere with friendly staff

Every time we come to Edinburgh we come to the Innis and Gunn taproom. This week we tried the food. My husband got two helpings of steak and chips and I had a burger. The food was lovely, the staff were great and of course the drink was very nice too!

I went to Innis and Gunn at the shore in Edinburgh, on Sunday 6th of June. I can't describe in words how fantastic it was. My friend and I ended up spending the whole day there, and it was simply amazing. It's not just the beer or food (both excellent) it's the people who work there that make the difference, and create an amazing atmosphere and have great banter. The Sunday team was truly great. I'm afraid I don't know their names, as let's be honest....I had few drinks;) but there were two girls (I think one of them was Eileen) and the guy and he had vans top on. Just really want them to know that I had a great time, and that they are soooo good at what they do, and that the place is really lucky to have them working there. I will be back, no doubt about it. This was my favorite meal in Scotland. Great beers, great scotch whiskey, and snacking food. I fell in love with Scottish eggs here.

I treated my friend to a night out in Edinburgh in Sept'20 for her Birthday through COVID and actually got a wowcher meal deal for two steak and chips with a side and a drink for here at Innis and Gunn. Neither of us had been before so were looking to try somewhere different. With this being a 'wowcher deal' I was a bit scared it wasn't up to much however I was soooo wrong. The staff were super friendly, talked both myself and my friend through everything. We had hummus with dips and they made my friend her own special dip as she had never tried this before and was unsure of the flavour that came with the deal. We ordered extra chicken wings which were amazing. The steak and chips came out to perfection. Onion rings on the side and we had a few extra drinks also. Compliments to the chef!I was so grateful to the team for their superb customer service and for this being a wowcher deal was absolutely amazing. The steak was so worth the full price so we will definitely be back. Great work and a massive thanks to Kirsty, Ciara and Calum and all the team for making my friends birthday dinner so special. especially when things seem to be so dull at the moment and going out now is not the same. You guys made this a night to remember and nothing was a hassle. Keep doing what you do, great customer service - thank you

very covid secure but can feel a tad claustrophobic its great to feel safe in lovely surroundings even better when the mango beer is on :-) great staff too

Mi esposa, Dog y yo fuimos un sábado por la noche, tenía un gran ambiente a pesar de Covid y el personal fue muy servicial y amable. La mejor parte fue lo complacientes que fueron con nuestro perro, le llevaron un cuenco de agua y le dieron un poco de alboroto.Recomiendo encarecidamente las hamburguesas, la empanada era excelente y la hamburguesa llena de sabor. Como era de esperar de Innis y Gunn, las cervezas estaban deliciosas con una gran selección de cervezas propias y de invitados.

¡El servicio fue estupendo! ¡La comida era deliciosa! Recomiendo encarecidamente la coliflor frita coreana. ¡Mi hamburguesa estaba deliciosa! Agradezco que el camarero nos deje probar las diferentes cervezas. El único inconveniente fue que hay asientos de banco. Me dolía un poco la espalda de estar sentada en el banco, ¡pero la cerveza y la sidra ayudaron!

Teníamos un espacio de 2 horas para bebidas. Las bebidas eran geniales. El miembro del personal fuera de turno bebiendo en el bar (no estoy seguro de si está permitido en este momento) que se tiraba pedos, a 2 pies de distancia de nosotros, que olía repugnante, cada 5 minutos lo convirtió en una experiencia increíblemente desagradable. Fue horrible si soy honesto. Cuando se les explicó a otros miembros del personal, no se hizo, dijo o rectificó nada. Servicio pobre. Reservamos una mesa la última noche y nos fuimos después de 90 minutos ya que el servicio era terrible. Durante este tiempo solo tomamos 2 bebidas ya que no pudimos conseguir que un miembro del personal tomara nuestro pedido. En repetidas ocasiones le preguntamos a nuestro mesero si podía tomar un pedido solo para que nos dijeran que estaré allí en breve, el lugar no estaba tan ocupado, simplemente parecía que el personal no podía molestarse en atender a los clientes.

Mi esposa y yo somos veganos. Teníamos alas de coliflor para empezar, que estaban tan bien hechas y muy sabrosas. Ambos tuvimos la hamburguesa vegetariana que de nuevo estaba muy bien con un exterior crujiente y un interior suave y encantador. Terminado con un brownie que desafiaría a CUALQUIERA para que se diera cuenta de que era vegano. . . ¡Asombroso! ! Regado con un par de cervezas perfectas para mí y vino para mi esposa. ¡Demuestra que la comida vegana se puede hacer muy bien y definitivamente volveremos! ¡Grita al personal también que fue genial!

Recientemente visité este bar para tomar unas copas un sábado por la noche muy concurrida. Fue muy organizado y el personal fue extremadamente acogedor y amable.Las bebidas llegaron rápidamente y el servicio fue excelente. El bar tenía un ambiente encantador.Adam nos atendió principalmente, que era encantador y brindó un excelente servicio al cliente.Definitivamente recomiendo este bar para tomar algo, volveremos para probar la comida también.

Came here on 1st August this year had beers (mangoes on the run) and buttermilk chicken burgers. The food was amazing and piping hot!Staff were all very friendly and professional and it was laid out well to allow for social distancing. I would definitely come back here again when next in Scotland! 5*!

We went for the reopening of this taproom and was served by joe both Thursday and Friday night. He made both nights amazing. So attentive and polite. Easily the best bar in Edinburgh

Pour les fans de bières, endroit incontournable. La bière par excellence à boire à Edinburgh, bonne ambiance, ils font aussi à manger mais pas tester.

Bon choix de bières(après les Innis, on aime ou on n'aime pas...)Cadre bruyant et service assez moyen qui fait dégager les visiteurs avant l'arrivée des personnes ayant réservé leurs tables.Perso, je ferai un nouveau passage quand je retournera à Edimbourg, mais ma première visite ne m'a pas trop convaincu cette fois (en comparaison avec ce que les Hanging Bat ou le Brewdog juste à côté proposent comme expérience) Ah par contre, j'aimerais bien tester leur cours de brassage. (il y avait quelques grainfather qui traînaient dans le coin...)

El pub era muy ruidoso ya que había una noche de preguntas y nuestra mesa estaba justo al lado del maestro de pruebas. Quizás haga saber a la gente que hay una noche de preguntas cuando reserva una mesa.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon, knowing we already loved their beers. It was busy, but we still got a seat. Beers did not disappoint. We decided to order food too, and the burgers were delicious. The chips were also absolutely delicious. They had the football on the big screen, but without sound. Brilliant beer, tasty burgers and live sport. What’s not to like?

Nice bar, good beer selection on tap, never had food though portions seemed generous.The canned beers were ridiculously priced though. Over 9 quid for a can of overtone is madness.Would have marked higher but for daft pricing as I can get same beer in other bars for 6 pounds odd and 4 quid odd take out.

Always a favourite pit stop when we are in Edinburgh, this bar serves Hubby’s craft beer of choice. They also have a great Gin selection. We also sampled some amazing hot chicken wings.

Came here for lunch on a busy Rugby day. Great atmosphere, decent enough burger for the price and great drinks. Also has a large screen for sport. Friendly service too. Taps in the toilet are a bit violet tho!

We had a table booked late afternoon for a bite to eat. The beer selection is amazing and we took our time in choosing. The food menu looked tasty and we ordered the Korean Cauliflower and ribs as starters. Burgers for each of us with a side of onion rings to share. The food was not the best, everything seemed really greasy and lacking in flavour.

This was a fantastic afternoon. Dean and Kelsey were very informative and helpful. If you want to try and brew your own beer go for it, it’s well worth it.

I have been coming here for the Sunday night quizzes a few times now, and would just like to compliment them on their food. There is quite a nice selection, my 2 favourites being Scotch Eggs with Stornoway Black Pudding, and their KFC, Korean Fried Cauliflower, both excellent choices, yummy.

Quick stop here, was surprised by the beer selection.. Friendly staff and a good vibe.. Live music in the background. Hope they expand in to a few more towns...:-)

Ordered the salt and chilli wings (I’ve had them many, many times before) - they arrive unseasoned with salt or chilli, I tell the waitress they are not seasoned with salt or chilli, she says she’ll take them back to the kitchen to be tossed again, they come back but just taste salty - no chilli. Don’t mind a mistake but that’s just treating your customers like idiots.

Service was great especially for such a large group. Prompt and friendly. Food was fantastic and obviously the large beer selection is a huge bonus.

My wife and I love Innis & Gunn beer. We buy it often here in Miami (where we live). When we planned to go to Scotland (what an AMAZING country), we decided we had to visit one their taprooms. One day, after we visited Edinburgh Castle, we came to this taproom location and I'm glad we did. The barman (sorry mate I forgot your name) he was great. He was very kind and let us try every single beer they have on tap (quite a few) and was very patient in explaining the differences between all of them. I chose The Vanishing Point. An absolutely lovely beer, hearty and strong (11% ABV). The food was surprisingly delicious for "bar food". I had a chicken sandwich and my wife had their fish & chips and both dishes were really good. Overall, our experience at this Innis & Gunn Taproom was very positive. Highly recommended.

We decided to try this place for a drink while we were out walking. It was very busy, but we found a spot at one of the communal tables. The beer selection was quite good and the burgers seemed very popular based on what we saw going to tables.

Great bar. Not usually a fan of Innis & Gunn beers but visiting this bar has changed my opinion. Their beers and the range of guest beers has been excellent. The staff have been helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.

My sister and I went here before a concert in the Usher Hall. We made a reservation because we weren't sure how crowded places get before nights in Usher Hall. We arrived on time and were ignored. It was after 5pm but it looked like they were still setting up the day. There were a few staff members but they were all rushing around doing various tasks even though they place only had less than 10 people in it. They were also doing a photo shoot for their Christmas menu and this took up the whole front section. It really did not feel welcoming.

We were served by Gareth who was really polite and helpful and made the experience more enjoyable. Food was excellent. I definitely recommend.

You can decide between nearly 30 different beers and also order nice pub food like wings, mac and cheese or chilli cheese fries. Nice location.

I first went pre gig before the Usher Hall. Good selection of beers served well by knowledgable and friendly bar staff.

Really great atmosphere and friendly staff. Fantastic choice of craft ales and beers. It isn't cheap but no craft ale bars are. You get what you pay for. Definitely recommend if you like to enjoy a few glasses of really great beer.

Nice place with bench seats and long wooden tables makes for a good atmosphere. Lots of Innis & Gunn and related beers on tap. Fresh with a nice staff but probably the most expensive place we drank in all Scotland. Stayed for a beer then moved on. Been there, done that. Good location right on Lothian Rd.

During our visit to the Christmas markets I needed my craft beer fix. Which i wasn't going to get from the markets with their over priced 'German beer'.

Very impressed with the service. Cracking burgers. I had the chicken burger. Well presented and came with good sides. The cajun mayo it comes with was lovely.

Booked for staff Christmas night out meal. Staff were very attentive and fantastic selection of beers available on draught. Onion rings were a table favourite and no complaints from 10 reasonably demanding males.

Perfect place for relaxed drinks and food with friends. Had reserved a table but we were early so to wait for our table we sat at another but ended up just staying at the first one. (Would recommend reserving if there’s a large group of you though). Friendly staff, great range of drinks and lovely food.

The tap selection in here is great; a really good mix of classics from Innis & Gunn and interesting beers from all over. The food is good and the staff are friendly. Ideal for the theatres nearby.

Very pleasant place to eat and drink with efficent sevice. This place has a good vibe has it filled in the early evening. As you would expect in a beer house the beer was plentiful and fresh. The food is basic fare but tasty and fresh and the efficent service helped the pleasant experience. Great for Usher Hall events.

After the third time in this place and buying souvenirs I guess I can't but give it 5 stars.

Had an impromptu meal with 6 friends here. Not been in since it’s been done up and really liked the new layout and menu. Waitress was brilliant & very attentive. Even brought us all a sample of beer to try which was a nice touch. Great food, everyone thoroughly enjoyed everything, especially the scotch egg!!! All round a really great experience and we will come back.

I love the mangoes on the run cans so it was without doubt i would visit here. Obviously i tried another beer trying not being boring so i had the oreo cookie stout and the blood red sky. Hmmmmm!!

6 of us had dinner and drinks here on Wednesday evening. It was a business dinner and the venue was chosen by my customer as he enjoys sampling craft beers.

We went for a family dinner on a Friday night. The food was lovely and also the beers. The only problem was the music really to loud. The staff was always accessible and friendly. A place to go back!!!

Huge range of craft beers, not just from Innis and Gunn. Excellent staff and attractive surroundings. Way better than nearby so-called craft beer outlets run by large multinationals.

Staff were excellent. Burger was good but fish was greasy. While the lemon curd Eton Mess was very tasty it had no meringue in it so it wasn't really Eton Mess. It was ice cream with lemon curd through it and raspberries on top.

Great coming here after work, especially on a Friday! Spacious and staff always friendly. Can’t recommend this place enough. Me and my colleagues will keep coming here ;)

The choice of beers were brilliant! Had a chilli one that I’d highly recommend while the choice of gins for the wife was huge! Food choice looked wide and portions seemed large but didn’t eat ourselves. Atmosphere was brilliant!

Fui a Innis y Gun con mi familia (5 adultos, 1 niño) para una comida el jueves 17 de octubre. Joe fue el tipo que nos acomodó y tomó nuestras órdenes. El fue fantástico.

Fuimos un jueves por la noche para una comida familiar para 6. 5 adultos y mi sobrino de 11 años. Fantástico servicio, excelente comida y bebidas. Joe y el resto del equipo respondieron todas nuestras preguntas y siempre se aseguraron de que tuviéramos todo lo que necesitábamos. El perrito caliente era fabuloso. . . A menudo tengo antojos de perros calientes. . . tal vez eso es compartir demasiado. . . . pero este definitivamente valió la pena una visita de regreso! Si tuviera más espacio, también habría pedido un huevo escocés, se veían deliciosos. Las bebidas, incluido un Malbec recomendado y un delicioso Schofferhofer, dieron en el lugar correcto:) Mi sobrino lo pasó muy bien y el personal fue muy bueno con él. Gracias amigos.

Popped in with friends for a drink and found the staff to be friendly. Alas there was no non-alcoholic drinks, excluding soft drinks, and they struggled to make a whisky mac. So disappointed with the experience.

We went for a meal after travelling up from all over the UK for a business trip.

Visited on a Saturday for a meal before going to the Usher Hall. Booked a table online, on arrival we were standing around for a good few minutes trying to find an available staff member, eventually we were shown to a table on the end of a bench with other diners, didn't really mind this but if we had known it was set up like that we probably wouldn't have booked. Waiter was friendly but seemed a bit confused with what he was actually doing. Food came quickly, although it was delivered to the wrong table before it got to us, we then had to ask for cutlery. Both of us enjoyed our burgers but all in all it seemed a bit chaotic, could do with better organisation maybe. Anyway, we have tried it and would not return. More suited to large groups coming in for a drink.

Came here for some burgers and beer. The beer was good, it was modern and the music is fairly loud so depends if you like that environment. The burgers were very bog standard but very expensive for an average burger. I'd recommend for a drink but not for food.

Popped in before a show at The Usher Hall. Had booked in advance so seated no problem. Our waitress was very good, clearly very busy but service with a smile. Food was very nice. Highlight for me was the hummus dip with bread starter. Really tasty. My daughter's burger looked fantastic. I was recommended this place by a colleague and would definitely go back. Didn't sample the beers as on the wine but there was plenty of selection.

Here you can preebook to brew your own beer in a small keg. Otherwise an ordinary bar with a lot of different Innis&Gunn; beer and others.

First time in Scotland and we were hungry and this restaurant was near our walk to the castle.. good find!! Very nice place since 2008. Friendly service and good music and Inis & Gunn brews. I got the Lager— my favorite. The patty melt and the tiki masala were the most ordered I put group and all very good

Locale in centro città con tavoloni e arredamento moderno. Ottima la lager con una vasta scelta alternative. Burger un po’ troppo cotto e asciutto, saporite le costine. Conto corretto, ma non economico.

El Taproom tiene una bonita decoración con una mezcla de mesas más pequeñas y de cervecerías y una buena selección de deliciosas cervezas. En realidad no comimos, pero aquí tuve que dejar un comentario simplemente por el personal. La gente que servía detrás del bar era encantadora y altamente eficiente y el portero era muy hablador y alegre. El personal notó a un tipo que había decidido unirse a nosotros y el personal nos llevó a un lado y nos preguntó si estaba bien y si queríamos que hicieran algo. Nunca antes había experimentado eso en ningún bar.

Buena comida bastante tranquila a las 2 pm, gran variedad de cervezas. Todo bien identificado y con un buen precio, también compramos un vaso para poder fingir que todavía estamos en Edimburgo. Volveremos cuando no estemos conduciendo para poder probar más Innis y Gunn. Teníamos las hamburguesas Innis y Gunn y mi hijo tenía un costillar de costillas.

As our visit coincided with the Edinburgh Festival, our party of 7 opted to pre-book a table for our visit and we're glad we did. Whilst the place was packed to the rafters when we arrived, there was a really chilled vibe about the place. The beer was excellent (it's I&G;, what do you expect?) as was the food (try the ox cheek pie) all of which was complimented by the superb service provided by our Kiwi waiter (sorry mate, I didn't get your name). The place was busy all night, yet it never felt like sardines in a tin. Highly recommended.

Realmente sabrosa hamburguesa jugosa con chips de corte de carne gruesa que estaban muy crujientes y esponjosos por dentro. El personal fue muy amable y servicial que se sumó a la atmósfera relajada. Después de comer nos mudamos a los asientos al aire libre para tomar más bebidas y nos quedamos más tiempo del previsto inicialmente. Si también tiene la suerte de obtener el cupón de Groupon, no olvide dejar una propina como lo hicimos nosotros. El personal realmente fue genial.

We had a Wowcher coupon for lunch, it was easy to make the reservation. We were delighted to be treated the same as everyone else, albeit a more limited menu. Chilled water on the table , amazing food and flavours. Great lager (their own). Friendly, bustling place with attentive staff. Spotlessly clean toilets. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent, big portions very tasty. Georgia let us try a few ales before choosing what to drink. It was very busy with the festival and the rugby, she did her best to keep up with everyone with no help from anyone else.

I don't want to leave a negative review as it was good and bad really. Popped in around 5ish, on a Saturday, busy with the Festival on and we were very lucky that a table was leaving, allowing myself, the other 2 adults and 3 kids to procure it. Ordered drinks, great. Only 1 girl was serving multiple tables it seemed. Not her fault but it meant a wait, which was okay. The wait continued and the kids were getting hungrier. The server said she would be over. We ordered at the bar in the end after waiting half an hour and although the food took a while to come out, we expected that with it being busy.

We went here after Rhod Gilbert 14th Aug and I told the barman that I didnt drink beer so have you got... he stopped me in my tracks and told me he would find me one. Wee chat about what i like and a few wee tasters and i chose a 3/4 pint that was 9.2% lmao was banging! Totally loved the music and atmosphere in here. Cool set up and great staff. We popped in after a conference for some drinks. Always nice beer and staff are good at pointing you in the direction of a beer if you're unsure. Food looks good (and is good in the Glasgow branch) but didn't try any this time.

Wer Craft Beer der Brauerei Innig & Gunn aber auch andere lokale und internationale Biere kleinerer Brauereien sucht, der ist hier richtig. Die Gaststätte befindet sich im Zentrum unweit der Burg und hat neben den Bieren auch jede Menge guter Gerichte auf der Speisekarte.

We love the Innes & Gunn in Glasgow so we were looking forward to going to this one on Lothian Rd for something to eat as their food is really good - but we just couldn't stay as the noise from music/people talking was deafening. Ok it was a Friday night, and we weren't looking for a quiet, romantic meal but we literally couldn't have heard each other speak! I think this one is more of a beer bar, which clearly a lot of people like, but it would be good if they could have a quieter place for eating.

Sat outside in the glorious Edinburgh sunshine enjoying a few of the beers while my fiancée goes shopping. Only on half’s and thirds as too many to try. Lovely range of beers and lagers to suit any taste. Staff very helpful and friendly and know the beers. Great way to spend an afternoon relaxing. Definitely worth a visit if you like your beers and a canny bit of food if you want.

Service was great and our waitress was very helpful with beer selections. Our food was very good. We did make reservations in advance which I recommend.

We came here a couple of times when we were in Edinburgh. Watched the Wimbledon final here and had an appy. You can also have a bigger meal as well. Lots of beer selection.

Great food. Awesome staff. A must see/taste in Edinburgh. We tried the beer here in the states and immediately became fans. The beer selection was second to none. The menu was a great cross section of Scottish favoritres and traditional pub food with options for vegetarians and gluten-free diners.

Innis & Gunn. what can I say? one of the most popular Scottish beers. Great taproom space. very clean and friendly vibes. tons of great beers on tap. Not only do they serve all their beers, but many beers from some of the smaller breweries in Edinburgh. The staff are well versed in their beer knowledge. went back a few times in my week in Edinburgh and everything was consistent.
