To be informed the there was no meat or fish on the menu !, we ordered a drink , but felt so angry we left without finishing our drink!!!! The apalogies given were not sincere the air was full off the smell off weed !!😡😡 So my suggestion do not go !!!!!! Go this pub for a meal!!!!!

We hadn’t been to the Beehive for years after poor service and rubbish food. We noticed that it had been taken over so thought we’d give it a try today. We weren’t disappointed, the food was really good and the service was outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

Had another Sunday roast at the Beehive. Small portions, which includes one meat choice, lashings of veg, roast potatoes, mash potatoes and gravy, all for £5. How fabulous ! They've also started doing OAP specials - 2 courses for £4.99, 3 courses for £5.99. You can't beat that. Well done Jo and Co x

Been for lunch twice since new owners took over and have to say the food is lovely and cheap! Lovely burger with delicious home made chips on the two for £10 menu! Owners are lovely and there is a lovely beer garden overlooking the fields and on a sunny day like today it was perfect for kicking a little football around with my toddler. Highly recommend.

Wow what a dive!!! I’d rather have a drink in a landfill site. It was like walking into monsters inc! Avoid at all costs!! health and safety risk...extension leads trailing all Over the bar and public areas, glasses rotten, drinks flat, language foul, falling apart.... need I go on?! It needs 5kg of napalm 💥 💣 and that should sort it right out. How they can open and trade in that state and feel they have a business and a welcoming atmosphere is beyond me. 🤢 we wonder why so many pubs are closing their doors and this should be next. Awful.

A monthly meeting using different places, we thought why not try a local venue. What can I say, from start to finish the staff were brilliant. Nothing was to much trouble. The waitress went the extra mile to ensure that our evening was a thing to remember. On top of that the food was cooked to perfection, collectively we were that impressed the waitress deserved her tip. Would definitely recommend this little gem 💎 to friends

Called in a few weeks ago, but as mid week, there was no food on. We went back today as 'we might as well try it!' attitude and was exceptional surprised with the quality and quantity of food. All cooked literally from scratch! All 4 of us had something different and it all came out together and piping hot (especially my lasagne. It was still audibly bubbling)! My sister does not eat certain veg and we were asked what she would like in the chicken curry and they didn't even know! That's how from scratch the foods cooked! Such good value. Lady who served us with blonde hair, was so hospitable, without being over bearing. A total credit! Agree that the decor does nothing for the expectations. If the owners/managers promoted it properly (show what you do especially food wise), freshened the place up - out in the sticks with fab views across the fields, it would be full all the time. Amazing beer garden which was well kept. Total admiration to the chef. We'll defo be back and will certainly recommend.

Went to hale to visit the Chinese but we were too early and it was closed so we popped in here. The staff were accommodating to the fact we hadn't booked a table. Place was busy so expected food to be good.

Was pretty shocked by the standard (and size) of the meal and the price. We had the all day breakfast which is massive with 3 sausages, 2 bacon, beans, loads of toast, comes with a cup of tea too but we were drinking beer so didn't bother.

wow. just WOW. Food was delicious, from starters through to mains. From the moment we arrived, until the moment we left, our host paul (and his sidekick lemsip) made sure we were well lubricated. Us being middle aged and slightly overweight we felt a bit "out of place" when we arrived, due to all the hot young girls hanging around the bar area. Luckily for us, paul doesnt discriminate, and proved equally adept at handling all types of women. Anyway on to the food. Superbly prepared although the portions are a bit on the small side, it was probably for the best as we had to save space for the main event, Pauls courgette!!. The menu promised it would be big but we were not prepared for this!!! We were debating wether to order pauls speciality, but as soon as paul unbuttoned his fitted tweed trousers it was a no brainer. As thick as it was long, this was a prime example of the breed standard. It was that special we lost all control, hitting all the high notes like a prime charlotte church. My friend joans face was a picture as paul strummed away with his trusty rifle. Talk about rolling back the years....All in all a great experience, and one we will be keen to repeat, immediatley, if not sooner. *TIP= take advantage of the free express shuttle service to the beehive, in their fully insured fleet of bedford rascals, they run every 25 mins from the liberty tavern in woolton.

Warm day and in the vicinity so thought what the hell, I know it was terrible last time I visited (and left a "Terrible" review) but that was a while ago and things may have changed. Sadly no. Filthy inside. dark, dank, grotty (I wouldn't touch any food with gloves on!). Unfriendly bar staff who look at you as if visiting from the Moon. The "back room" is a pit. The garden could make them £000's if they switched off the music and cut the grass a few times plus changed the entire inside of the pub and employed staff who have a degree of customer focus. Please do take note of the reviews left here by myself and others. Visit at your peril.

Stopped here thinking it looked like a cute country pub. How wrong was I? Ignorant bar staff, music blasting out and tv on full throttle. Dubious clientele...very unlike me but I drank up and bailed out as soon as possible. Nice garden area which they don't make the most of...ruined by the racket from the speakers. Don't be fooled by the quaint looking exterior

This pub is "basic". No decent beer on tap, bar staff who are unfriendly and a general feelof run down and dirty. Bar lady on evening I visited had an interesting command of the English language which involved frequent use of f***. Outside could be so much better. A few tables dotted around and piped music to spoil the general view and solitude. Didn't try the food. The condition of the general pub (and toilets!) wouldn't entice me to eat there.

Have been going here for Sunday lunch. Its just outside Liverpool on a road to Widnes.Plenty of room for the kids to play. This place does not look much , but the Sunday dinners are great..You can get 3 courses for under £10 .The roast potatoes are like me mum cooks..The food is always hot.Lashes of gravy, but if you only like a small amount tell them when ordering. This is local people serving food that I lovePS..its not far off the flight path for Liverpool Airport so the planes can also keep the kids amused

Had to send my food back as it was cold. Card machine wasn't working and I wasn't informed until after I ordered. I would have had something else however the performance was due to start. Not enough staff for a busy cafe. Not impressed.

It's Chef & Brewer, you've been to one you've been to them all. I must say though that this was one of the better ones, the food was average although still enjoyable. I would probably return simply because there is nowhere better in the area.

Visited with friends for lunch. Beautiful food and surroundings and server Nemo was very attentive and friendly. Only downside, not being able to tip by card when none of us had any cash. Will remember this for our next visit.

First time visit for breakfast. It was really busy and we had to take a pager and wait outside for around 25 minutes. You can visit the gift shop next door to pass the time. Was it worth the wait? YES!!. Breakfast was very good with fresh local products used. My eggs were more orange yolk than yellow and cooked to perfection. The sausages and bacon were very good. Black pudding tasted amazing. I had a pot of Tea and full English, the wife just had full English. The cost was just under £25 for the both of us. Will I go again ? Yes I will be back very soon. I highly recommend this place. Ps: The staff here are very busy and polite.
