Bit of a walk from centre but classic city estate pub. Good choice of beers, classy old gents lining the bar. Exactly what you'd expect from this type of pub.

Excellent service, well kept beer's. Has burger van at weekends. Annual beer festival in Beer garden.

An excellent choice of local real ales served in a classic traditional corner street location. A chilled, outdoor area is also offered.

First visit to The Beehive as it formed part of a route on an ale walk. Friendly welcome, excellent range of real ales available on pump. We will be back.

One of the best pubs in Norwich, marooned in the suburbs rather than being in the centre. Don't be fooled though, this place has a very rapidly shifting set of cask ales that they always stick on their facebook page. It's a lovely place and gives this residential area a nucleus.

Lovely 'proper' pub with great ales

You can’t help be feel welcome in this pub. Alex is a tremendous landlady that cares enormously about her pub and customers. It’s lovely to see a traditional corner pub being frequented by well oiled regulars, both builders and professionals alike. How a public house should be. The ale is well kept and the staff are always on hand for a good recommendation for what’s fresh on.

Still a great local with excellent ales and very comfortable Chesterfields.

Called in here today with my dog to get shelter from the horrible weather, was made to feel so welcome by the lovely girl behind the bar. Just had a couple of pints of ‘Canary Premier’ which was an excellent beer at a good price. Will definitely return when back in this area.

Real ale and cider spot. Has been running beer fests of it's own and has a burger hut at the back only open a few days. Decor questionable. Parking for around 8 cars at the front.

El local de larga data entendió el problema, pero continuó apoyando a este maravilloso boozer. Tenga la seguridad de que puede ver en estas fotos que he tomado remediación se ha completado a un nivel muy bueno y la gente local está feliz Las niñas también deben tener en cuenta en su próxima visita. La colmena no adopta un sistema de aseo unisex, por lo que quizás Susan pueda revisar sus inodoros en su próxima visita.

My boyfriend and I visited Norwich to see our friends who live in Eaton and on the Friday night our friends suggested we did a bit of a pub crawl. We started off in the Beehive and because the bar was so busy we went into the room which had sofas, which was surprisingly empty except for the bar. We ordered some drinks at the bar and then sat down to have a chat but this did not last long as the men who crowded the small bar in there were using language that I can only describe as gutter lingo. Even in the some of the dodgy pubs in Norwich the men respect the ladies with their language but obviously not here! My husband used the toilets before we left and was disgusted with the condition and the smell inside them. The cistern was broken off the wall and the extractor fan was not working in quite a small WC. Quite an experience in all and as we left the empty room and went past the packed main bar we wondered how this pub could be so badly managed to allow any of this to be the norm. We then went on to the Cellar House which was a different experience altogether.

Quiz Wednesday night's, very challenging ! Lovely local proper pub

We went to the Beehive on recommendation for its real ale and Friday night atmosphere, as normally we go to the Fat Cat. Had not been to the Beehive before as it is not our side of the city and when we got there decided to go into the room with leather sofas as it looked like the lounge area. It was difficult getting to the bar, not because the room was full but the very small bar was populated with a group of people who looked like builders who had come straight from work, and this was at 7pm! Having ordered the drinks we sat down and it was immediately apparent that although the beer was really good, on par with the Fat Cat, the language being used by the group near the bar was truly unbelivevable. Really loud and littered with four letter words that both me and my wife had not heard in a pub for a long, long while. I can only assume these are well oiled regulars and so have a special status in the pub. We left after one drink and will not be making the effort again unless it is to record the “banter” for my next review. Truly shocking.

A great city pub that makes you feel welcome. The Beehive is the sort of pub rarely found these days down the back street of a city. Great beer, a cozy feel and local clientele makes you feel at home and comfortable. Real ales and Aspall Cider as well as a choice of craft ciders and lagers makes this a good place for a drink. Great looking home made sausage rolls as well as the usual snacks provide some sustenance to go with the beer.

Friendly back street local. Good selection of real ales. Real cider. Great pies. Function room and garden. Occasional events and beer festivals.

Even though it was very quiet on the Saturday I visited, there is something I really like about this pub. I guess it reminds me of the good old Norwich boozers of my youth.

Great community pub. Cheerful staff and especially the landlady. Always about 6 or more real ales.

Super local pub. Real hand pulled beers. We visited on an occasional curry night and ate excellent food cooked by a local Sikh family. You will probably need to book a table for food on curry night.
